In Auto-Tune the News on YouTube, brothers Andrew and Michael Gregory apply the auto-tune vocal effect to the sounds of the nightly news, to hilarious effect.

You see? This is the problem. People want to be entertained by news, not informed. You'd think adults would outgrow this, but no, they are like children, wanting fun and interesting news. This video is awful, I could only stomack 5 seconds.

Said the Tool who Posted a Glen Beck skit as if it was Informational!

This video is awful, I could only stomack 5 seconds.

If you stopped after five seconds, you missed the whole point of the video. It's about the use of auto-tune in pop music, not deriding the news. Though the sendup of Hannity is pretty funny.

Glad we got all that rape, murder, failing economy, and violence under control and only have this to worry about.

I've gotta get one of those things! Autotune rocks!

I think the software being used is Celemony Melodyne.

Meh...Japanese beatbox is better.

The Japanese have the best game shows too.

I am glad the DR is, for the most part, a silent medium. Imagine having to hear some of the people here make their comments with weird sound effects, oy vey!

I cringe at the thought of what celisary sounds like in real life. A Tourettes child on meth, I imagine.

The internet, massive proof that Americans have way too much time on their hands.

More proof that stupid and funny are not mutually exclusive. It's like a Jerry Lewis movie or a Weird Al parody.

Okay, that was funny.

Specially liked the part with Cutie Couric.

Be Well.

Just the opposite, I always saw the formula as
Stupidity = Comedy

TFD - same thing. up is down, down is up.
:-)

Dudes have talent. Gotta give it to them.

Excellent! Love the duet with Couric. Definitely talented and creative. The first one wasn't bad, either. www.youtube.com

Glad the article had the words to the part with Hannity:

"Well, don't you worry, baby-boo, You'll always have an angry gorilla to be angry with you./That's what I do. Just ask Donkey Kong./He's in my crew."

Now THAT was some funny shit.
