Talking on a cell phone while driving should carry the same penalties as DUI. There are several studies that show that the two are essentially the same.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen cops drive by talking on their cellphones... with their lights flashing to be able to get through a red light.

This is like that guy in CA who crashed a train because he was too busy texting. Poor kids - RIP

I like fucking with people texting while driving. One of the easiest tricks to play on them is if you both are in adjacent lanes at a red light and the other person is texting. Lurch your car forward and they will more likely than not do the same without even looking up.

We were out and about in houston at around the time when this happened, saturday afternoon.

If you at least had one eye half open, you could see where the water was and most people were driving very slow and careful and turning around when they came to a flooded area. A few people tried to drive through them, and you could see them stranded all over town. Even if there was no water backed up, it was still raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock.

however, every now and then, some asshole would come along and drive as if the natural forces of the universe doesn't apply to them, pure candidates for Darwins social cleansing program.

It's a shame that these kids had the mis-fortune of riding in a car with one such individual.
