Ban on hallucinogenic mushrooms upheld in The Netherlands

The ban went into effect on December 1, 2008, after a series of deaths, injuries and other incidents linked sometimes incorrectly to the use of the magic' mushrooms.

Too bad. Thing is that people approach them the same way they would booze or pot... then freak when they discover that it couldn't be more different. Plus they go out and everybody they're with is shroomin. Very irresponsible. There always needs to be a straight man in the group to keep things on the safe side of space your face... A role I've had the honor to be needed for several times in the past. Especially when you're not running around in the woods.
