In case you don't know already this is a book that is put out every year by The citizens Against Government Waste and spells out all the 'Pork Barrel' spending. This year, it's a little different, as you can see who put it in the budget. There are still some earmarks, especially related to defence, where the members will not tell who it belongs to.

I see my boy, Richard Shelby (R-AL), is right up there with Murtha (who is the undisputed king of pork).

The Kings appear to both be Republicans based on what you linked.

I imagine it would be simpler to release the names of the politicians who don't dip into the barrel of non-kosher meats.


It would appear that way, but there is enough ham flying around to cover both parties.

Corruption and legal bribery don't seem to follow along party lines.

They do it's called election time. If we are stupid enough to re elect them then whos fault is it that they tried to get us to vote for them??
