They should be real careful. They don't want spector's hair and blowjobovich's hair in the same prison.

Most defendants who elect to go to trial are convicted.Celebrities have an advantage but this guy was more behind the scenes. Joke about the hair, but to persuade a jury a defendant needs to come to court with a shave, a haircut, and a conservative blue suit. A respectful attitude does not hurt.A defendant should testify. That burden of proof argument gets you about a quarter of the way across the river.

#19 - agree 100%, Cap'n. If I'd have been on that jury - and mind you, I was a big fan of the music Spector produced - I'd have had a hard time not saying "Jeez, what a freak" to myself. Freaks don't often have the aura of innocence about them.

Not that a juror would know this, but Spector was known to wave his gun around at various people, including, famously, the Ramones when they recorded with him.
