I'm sure he was just another normal, rational upstanding guy until he went nuts.
He was a cop, once. According to quite a few on this site, the only folks that should be allowed to carry a fire arm are law enforcement. According to the article, he retired from the force due to a heart illness, not being mentally unstable.
I am sure Axiom and the rest of his NRA buddies will be along any moment to tell us how if the other people had guns and firearms training, this never could have happened.
As I've said before, I'm not a member of the NRA. I'm thrilled that I cross your mind when one of these threads pops up though.
The question is, were any of the other folks carrying their side arms?
If they were, what part of their training teaches them to run away, hop in a car and speed away opposed to finding cover and drawing their own weapon in defense?
If they weren't, they made the right decision to flee the scene. Let the guy with the gun eat the bullet without anyone else being mortally wounded.
Guns don't kill people. I do wish they'd kill Axe, however.
Even at his most vile, I don't wish that on him or anyone else. It's terribly sad that he has no knowledge about the thing he rails against in these threads.
