I live in MI. My son is currently attending MSU. It was fun to pull for them. I think they did better than most thought they would, but in the end their local talent was no match for UNC's national talent.

My wife and I were rooting for MSU as well. At least a home state team got to play the final game. Those first 5 minutes were a brutal obstacle to overcome for the duration of the game. It was nice seeing all the people having a good time downtown.

He went to his school,happens all the time, why did't KU go after Turgeon when he was aailable, they shit on their own former player.

Vernon, there is no way on this planet you should root for KU and MU. It's fucking impossible those schools can cheer for one another (I wil cut you slack if you went to both undergrad at one, grad school at the other) It's like when my gf says she cheers for Miami and Florida (she did attend both under grad at miami, grad at Florida) butI still call her a fence sitter on that, it should be one or the other....you can do KU and KSU, or MU and UMKC but NEVER can you like the gayhawks and the lil tiggers at the same time.

GO K-State....and yes both KU and MU had better hoops and f-ball squads this year. We whooped that ass in baseball though. With Snyder back so will the football program, needs a couple of years though. Martin has K-state over achieving in hoops and with this current recruiting class he has some serious talent coming in.

Turgeon isn't ready for the big time, yet. If he succeeds at A&M, then he would be a huge sentimental favorite to replace Self when the time comes. But, he has to succeed at another school, or two, first.
