The House of Representatives voted on two budgets. One, the Obama budget, the other the GOP budget. So how did the dissenters vote?

The Senate has passed the budget 55-43.

"The House version of the budget, which passed by a margin of 233-196, also passed in a virtual party-line vote. All but 20 House Democrats supported it; no House Republican voted in favor."

"Thirty-eight Republicans voted against their own leadership's bill in that vote, while two Democrats voted in favor of it. The final vote was 293-137 against the GOP proposal."

That is because what the economy right now needs is spending to grease the wheels and get people back to work.

The rightards are proposing a spending freeze and cuts. I do believe that is the exact path that Hoover took.

It sounds all good but for them to start feigning concern about spending after spending like drunken whores for six years is massive hypocrisy.

But then again it has always been about obstruction for them. That and spending... only their spending is on millionaires and billionaires and fuck the ordinary people.

I do believe that is the exact path that Hoover took.

Your ignorance of history is profound, but that is what makes you such an obedient Liberal

This proves that the GOP has zero credibility when it comes to being fiscally conservative. I have a suggestion for where the GOP can stuff their little tea bags !

I just found this quite amusing and thought I'd post it.

All this while the GOP cries "Do over!" for Steven's in AK. Sarah! refuses money for special needs kids, Joe the Plumber goes on the campaign trail to fight FOCA though he doesn't know what it means and hasn't read it, and Newt wants to hang anyone that sells drugs and lock up anyone caught using marijuana in mandatory drug rehab centers citing Singapore as a model for the United States.

The right can't even get their own to vote in lockstep for their own budget, but the Party of "NO!" can get them all to vote against those damn Democrats!

"The right can't even get their own to vote in lockstep..."

Just like a Dembot to think that diversity of opinion is criticism.

Try rereading the post - this time for comprehension.

The party of little brain channels the bear of little brain.

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."

Good advice.

Follow it.

Do you know the meaning of 'lockstep?'

Do you know the meaning of 'diversity?'

Or do you just wait for the daily DNC talking points in your e-mail, so you know what to believe (and spout) for the next 24 hours?

Baaaaaaaaaa Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Vernon spouts talking points while castigating those that actually think and comprehend as being dependent on talking points!

This place cracks me up!

Yep, sure do. Now, go back and read the post again, then put it in the context of the article, and you'll find (surprise) you've said something quite foolish yet again.

There simply wasn't enough pork in the GOP Buggeredget for the Goppers. The Party of NO really means

NO Republican governor refused the stimulus package.

NO Republican Senator or Congressman demanded their state or district not receive stimulus money.

NO willingness to end their pork.

NO credibility.

In letters, e-mails and faxes to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), senior senators, including Senate Majority Leader HarryReid (D-Nev.), wrote to agency Chairwoman Sheila Bair and others at the FDIC about applications by constituent banks for bailout funds under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Hope and change.

SUCKERS

Avoiding the topic CHICKENRANCHER?

Deflections won't change the fact that the GOP is a rudderless ship.
