Today, I soaked some black eyed peas for about four hours. Now, they're simmering on the stove until around 6 o'clock. Got a nice, thick slice of bacon in there for flavor. I'm going to make some cornbread in a couple of hours, then chop up some onion.

Once everything is prepared and complete, I'll enjoy a nice, healthy bowl of musical fruit and raise my carbon footprint a few notches.

This business of switching off the lights to help improve Earth is very dangerous. Usually, this kind of bull droppings has unintended consequences. Around the Month of August, 1968, there was a major power failure in the Northeast. It started in New York City, and continued on towards Canada. Nine months after this massive power failure, the number of births increased substantially. This is well documented and I am not making this up. There have been additional power failures, not as big, but with the same results. People get ideas when it gets dark around them. "Heat" develops quite rapidly in situations like a dark room. A lot of persons that are now 41 years old and were born in the Northeast back then, could be considered power failure babies. I mean no disrespect. But some loonies around believe that Earth suffers because of population increases and want to correct this problem but they have not come up with any solutions. But lights off could increase the population and according global warming geniouses heat is bad for the Earth, no matter what kind of "heat," but specially the one that raises world population. What the hell, here you are in a dark room, with a curvacious babe, and the radio plays a soft version of "I'm in the mood for love," specially the one by Julie London.
