A laughing Mr Obama returned to the podium to take over but it seems the script had finally been switched and the US president ended up thanking himself for inviting everyone to the party.

Predictably the Obama haters can't stand the fact that the President is popular, has a nice personality and is sociable. There's two Kenny Rogers "Roasters" in town but I've never been to the one on Alameda Ave. (couple blocks from NBC studios), only to the Kenny Rogers Roaster on San Fernando Road (right across from the supermarket I got to all the time). When I'd gone to Leno's show at NBC both times we ate at the Acapulco Restaurant (a Mexican food chain) directly across the street from the studio. Pretty good food, nice bar and decor.

He did two townhall meetings in CA. CA is being hit really hard right now. He went to the people and appeared on Leno. Arnold was even present at the townhalls - which kicked ass compared to Bush's. He actually answered some pretty tough questions from some frustrated people.

He doesn't seem to try to pander, only guy to vote against the Patriot Act, visits every county in WI at least once every year, and he's got a nice haircut.
