Alert! Minor Celebrity Badly Injured! What's the next earth-shattering story on the retort, White Woman Missing?

Considering the education was in the very post you quoted, there is little hope for you to learn it if it is repeated again, but I will try one last time.

Q: If you don't care, why do you keep coming back here?

Your answer: To laugh at fools like yourself.

The lesson: you are the fool and what you perceive is hardly reality.

First she was alright, then she drops dead?

Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't be your first, "new guy" who doesn't care about the topic, but has 40% of the posts on it.

First she was alright, then she drops dead?

The reports of her death was retracted. The same source is now claiming she's brain dead, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

Who is this new retard?

Hillbillydeluxe trying to get around a suspension.

You have to give Buffalo Bob some credit: it ain't easy to make Jeffin look sane and rational.

Wow, you'd think if you created a new handle to get around a suspension, you'd at least say something funny or interesting. That was just stupid.

-Hillbillydeluxe trying to get around a suspension

It's not nice to fool Mother Rogers.

Get'im RCade.

While Richardson seemed fine, the ski patrol wanted to take a closer look so she was taken to the bottom of the hill by sled, Lortie said.

"She showed really no visible sign of injury and she was talking and showed absolutely no sign of confusion," she said.

Shit.

For Hillbilly,

O God, ease our suffering in this, our moment of great dispair. Yea, admit this kind and decent woman into thy arms of thine heavenly area, up there. And Moab, he lay us upon the band of the Canaanites, and yea, though the Hindus speak of karma, I implore you: kick her in the nuts.

In the fetal position with drool on his chin, Hillbillydeluxe will never post here again.

"She showed really no visible sign of injury and she was talking and showed absolutely no sign of confusion," she said.

No visible sign of injury, but brain dead? Nanc? Murphy?

What did Hillbilly get suspended for?

Just curious... I can't seem to get a handle on what constitutes bad behavior on here, seeing as there is such a significant amount of dysfunction in general amongst the regulars here. But I do see folks get temporary and perma-bans, so I figure there must be a TOS somewhere, either implied or explicit.

#38 | Posted by PublicTrough

There is a line and most of us know where it is. We dance right up to it, but we try hard not to cross it. There are those who know the line and work very hard to cross it and that is I believe what makes something worthy of a ban. Intent carries weight here and trying to be funny, but failing is not ban-worthy. Trying to cause pain is.

Re my previous post: I mean, apart from simply accumulating dumps until you hit the magic 14-day suspension.

Also , the TOS is right above the comment box, or you can just click here

Ok. Thanks, Kanrei.... the only ones I can actually say I recall of being banned for a concrete reason were those taunting someone directly over a loved one's illness, or some other life siuation that a normal person would consider off-limits, even by internet standards.

I did click on the 'moderation policy' link prior to asking my question, but I found it to be pretty open-ended in terms of how something gets tagged as offensive. I know there was a rash of drive-by "Offensive" taggings that went on during the run-up to the 2008 election, but i suspect RCade uses a more nuanced decision tree to do the dumps these days.

Trough,

To answer your question a clear difference exists between a 14-days suspension (which is the accumulation of 3 or more dumps within a certain time-frame) and a more permanent ban (visitor status).

The latter is usually, but not limited to, when a user receives a 14-day suspension and then goes and creates a new user account to try and get around said suspension. That is a major no-no and results in a revokation of posting priveleges for a long time.

Read the deleted comments section. You get suspended for the brown ones.

Thanks all. And FF to #45 (JOE) and #46 (M0NTEC0RE) (until those two posts they get dumped, I suppose). Although does calling me a cunt in humor mean that it does not get dumped. I guess so, based on the "spirit of the post" clause...

I will later when your mom gets off work and get over myself for me. I got my $3, so she can do it 5 times.

I never tried to hide that I was dethpud or skizits. In fact, my email addresses for those two names were something akin to "itschairborneagain@yahoo" or "101commiepinkofag@hotmail".

Anything other than those is purely a figment of your imagination. Your obsession is unhealthy.

Oorah - you can get in on the bet too. Let me know. (These offers will expire on 3/20/09, so act now!)

p.s. I would think, given your current condition and your permanent condition, you would avoid words like "bono."

I am assuming that Mont Tremblant has something similar to the The Colorado Ski Safety Act, but by being in Quebec the dopiest province in the dopiest country in North America who know?

The Colorado Ski Safety Act

Warning Under Colorado law, a skier assumes the risk of any injury to person or property resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and may not recover from any ski area operator for any injury resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing including: changing weather conditions; existing and changing snow conditions; bare spots; rocks; stumps; trees; collision with natural objects, man- made objects or other skiers; variations in the terrain; and the failure of the skiers to ski within their own abilities.

Now that's funny-I'll give you a funny flag for that.....

It's kind of odd that this was the only ski fatality this weekend in all of North America.

This is usually a bad time of year for that kind of thing.

What asinine comments we have about this tragedy on this page!!!

Skied many times at Tremblant (Expo trail for show-offs) and remember another tragedy at Bromont where owners daughter was killed in bizarre chairlift accident
back in the 1980's.

Not a particularly high risk sport but anything can happen with some high profile victims: Bono, Kennedy, Trudeau.

Hey Lisa. She played Linsday Lohan's Future Step Mom in Parent Trap. She hot in a wholesome sort of way.

Thanks Larry. I didn't see that movie.

I feel bad for her family and friends. Losing a lost one is so difficult.

Yes it is Lisa. Especially one so well liked and admired. She is supposedly in the States now. I don't know what that means.

I can tell you from experince that this is not good and the best thing they can do is to notify life gifts or a similar organization that they will donate whatever organs they want.
to be incredibly sterile in the whole thing...brain dead people make the best donors because the chances are better than most that all of the organs are in good order.

I know how the family feels in this case and I really hope they do this...its the only thing that can give them ANY feelings other than dispair at all of the whole affair

How sad. I will pray for her & her family.

Ooorah - you get the award for best at being able to laugh at yourself. That's an important trait, and one that is unusually rare around this self-important place. Good on you.

BRAVO... I am also a listed organ donor and a bone marrow donor.

I actually agree with you on something.

God bless your sister............

I also donate platelets once a month.

AU,

I am so sorry for you loss, but the gift she gave cannot be calculated. I just wish more people would be organ donors, or give blood.

Cool, CHICKENRANCHER

I'd bet we agree on more than that. But hey, you know what they say about talking religion and politics! LOL

In her case, she was riddled with cancer, and so she was disappointed about organs, but two men had their sight restored with her corneas. I got that letter last year. Beautiful to know.

Kudos for your donor card and blood donations. I did bone marrow a couple of times for my sister (bone cancer in addition to brain, lung, and liver cancer that all developed after breast cancer). She was given a 6 month prognosis 9 years ago, and lived 8 of those in relative ease - going about her life, baseball games, etc. even when bald as a cueball from chemo.

I encourage anyone to be an organ donor or donate their loved one's organs. They're removed at the funeral home anyway. May as well save someone's life and give them some extra time. Every time I think about those two who can see, it makes me smile. Eases the heartache of the loss.

Have a good one, bro

Richardson has just passed away, really sad for her family.

What has she done to deserve the wrath of the dumbshit DR posters. Have you nothing better to do?

VMA

It's sad to think of what Liam Neeson and her kids and relatives are going through right now.

I'll be praying for them all.

You and I are such polar opposites as to political views, yet we are bro's on this. This is what is so great about this country. I truly love it.

It's all good buddy.

Back atcha, CHICKENRANCHER

:-)

Very sad--Thoughts and Prayers for her and her family.

AU and CR--good to see that there is agreement on something as good as life!

I am an organ donor--and give blood.

They call me when it's time--I have 0- blood and it's popular.

I was called three months after getting on the marrow donor list--but then they cancelled. Something happened and they dont tell you why.

Hubby gives me grief on being an organ donor--I tell him though that some pig died to give him that pig valve to reconstruct his heart. He might be coming around.

AGREED.. Ya'll have a great evening.........

You too, CHICKEN

Let's all remember Natasha's family - Liam Neeson, her mom, Vanessa Redgrave, Aunt Lynn, and Natasha's kids.

This is a heartbreaking time for them, as we could all imagine ...

Why the fuck did my black dildo comment get deleted? Some people are too fucking sensitive.

sad, just sad--

Okay. It is sad.

I know dozens of men and women who have suffered head and spinal injuries on the job.
Most times these people are looked at as frauds, milking out an injury.

Most times, except for family, the average person doesnt even rate a paragragh in the obituary if they die. I have yet to see the reporters and paparazzi for them. The expression of anguish from the masses.

It is tragic when a man or woman dies while feeding their family. Or crippled for life and treated like a criminal. This lady was learning to ski. A persuit of leasure.

Helmets should be mandatory for skiers.

Very, very sad. I feel bad for her children & family. Best wishes & prayers.

Not be like Senator Frist, but it sounds to me like she had a brain aneurysm (sp?) that caused her to fall. I don't think the fall caused it since it does not seem that she acually hit anything other than some packed snow.

I just read on a blog that she is not dead. It is all a scam. Liam lost most of their money by investing in a hedge fund and they faked her death to cheat on their taxes

Helmets should be mandatory for skiers.

#106 | Posted by gitmboy at 2009-03-19 08:38 AM

Mandatory? Really?

I wear a helmet when I ski, because I like to ski fast, and not make a lot of turns.

But Mandatory? That seems excessive.

as I said at the point when they tell you that the first test shows no activity and they wait 12 hours for another and if there is none then the life support comes off.
in the meantime you have a choice...sit and wait or get with people like life gifts and do anything at all to pass the time and to even try and make sense of the whole thing.
it is really wierd feeling knowing that a loved one is going to be gone but that, in my personal case...
there was a woman in arizona who was able to get off the kidney machine...someone in south america who had a new healthy heart and someone in florida who could see again........
it doesnt ease the pain but it helps the soul.

I wish more people could adopt that same sort of self depricating attitude at times.

Oorah I agree. Too many posters have a self-defecating attitude. They just end up shitting the nest and making a big mess in the DR.

I pray peace and light and strength for this family. What a bummer. She was just taking a lesson on a little ol' bunny hill. Sheesh.

Autopsy results just in - says she died of blunt impact to the head... ruled an accident.

"Helmets should be mandatory for skiers."

This coming from the guy who's been thrown from moving vehicles and sets his own fractures? You'd think a tough guy like you could handle a little skiing accident, but maybe a helmet should be mandatory for you.

"Let's see.....I'm worth millions. I got nothing better to do today. Oh, I know, I'll strap some boards on my feet and plunge head first down a hill.......that's covered with packed snow!"

I'm sorry for your loss. I went through that 'removal of life support myself' last year.

You're right about organ donation. In my case it did help ease the pain after some time passed. Something positive out of something so tragic was unexpected, but it did help to know she helped someone else and changed their lives in a positive way..

you are absolutely correct.

a very tragic accident .. condolences to family

fwiw, also tragically it will be apparent that the Canada health system claimed another victim.

many Canadian regional hospitals would fit the description of a neighborhood clinic here in the US -
no trauma, no MRI

OTTAWA -- "The number of magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography scanners in Canada has increased .. but still lags the median for developed countries" ...

like in other 3rd world health systems - -

scans may sometimes not be available, even for emergencies

non emergencies wait months or are deemed NO via cost/benefit and denied completely by the government health system - - - SOON COMING TO THE USA

RIP Natasha. Sincere condolences to her family. I enjoyed her work in the film version of Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and in the remake of The Parent Trap.
