Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Saturday, January 31, 2009

For 30 minutes Saturday morning, Google displayed the warning "this site may harm your computer" with all search results, including its own home page. The data error led the conservative web site American Thinker to erroneously conclude that a left-wing conspiracy was afoot. "Google Blocks Conservative Web Sites," the site warned.

RUN! The Sky Is Falling!

AAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! They're everywhere!

The Wingnuts

(snicker)

Seems like the blog is seriously mis-named.

Why people allow google to "protect" us in the first fucking place: because most are narcotized stupid inbred sheep.

I saw that today when I was using google. But the link said google.org, so I thought it was a copy cat hacker virus or something.
I have no idea why that would spook "right-wingers".
There sure has been a lot of Rush Limbaugh, and right wing spin since Obama entered office.
the false left right paradigm.
Divide and conquer.

Another conspiracy, JeffND?

The google error affected all, righties assumed "just us" as they don't go to many non rightie sites. Phony complaints are common as in Orly Taitz, the Birther, she is complaining that the Supreme Court dropped her case from the dockets and is filing suit to get an answer.
(Lightfoot case, the one she claimed would win, it was "denied")

Reality:
Supreme Court did not drop the docket, the SCOTUS information web site was down for maintenance and came back up on completion of maintenance. It is a public information site and is not for storing Court Dockets or official records.

Reality is something that Birthers and many Right Wingers are allergic to.

Right-wing paranoia, against a mistake, all the while screaming that eavesdropping on all U.S. Citizens is "patriotic."

I love the irony.

WoooHoo Obama works fast..

Sites like that may not harm your computer but they should be labeled as harmful to your brain, bringing infections of extreme paranoia, xenophobia, homophobia and other assorted fears and irrational emotions. Whenever I encounter someone who has spent considerable time in those sites I can instantly recognize the symptoms usually because of the drool on one or both sides of their mouths.

Really, what doesn't spook a right wing conservative?

being conservative meant supporting lower taxes, small government, individual freedoms

that all died with Goldwater!

PajamaMedia?

Oh No!

I won't be able to get my unbiased, in-depth, hard-hitting reporting on the Gaza situation from Joe The Plumber/Reporter!

Only Windozeweenies and Republiconfabulators get scared when they see those things.

"
being conservative meant supporting lower taxes, small government, individual freedoms, and possibly nuking China.

that all died with Goldwater!

Yeah I saw the error this morning, google was adding a tag to every link you clicked on that made it look like a spoof site. It was easy just remove the google tag from the front of the web address and you could go on like nothing was wrong. Sometimes I forget how computer illiterate computer users are these days.

have no idea why that would spook "right-wingers".

1. Ignorance

2. Stupidity

3. Fear

"American Thinker", eh? Speaks volumes.

Have compassion on us...
Rough times

Laughin' with a Spaten...

I hate republicans

We need republicans around to make the democrats look good.

I hate republicans

I don't recommend you pursue an offshore job as you said you were. 90% of those guys are republicans. Everyone of the rig is accepting of anyone else regardless of political affiliation or religion. But if you automatically hate all of them for no other reason than their political views, they will sense it and you will make it very awkward for them.

Chances are you would not be able to pass the psychological testing anyway and your irrational hatred would surface. I understand that even if you try, it is hard to cheat those things.

I'm sorry to see you as such a narrow minded person and hate people for no other reason that who they vote for. That's pretty fucked up.

Briwo,
have no idea why that would spook "right-wingers".

A blanket statement like the one you just made is called bigotry.

I'm sure you didn't really mean it. You're to smart for that.

Just remember that the majority of the people that are labeled as the far right or mostly mainstream patriotic Americans that are scared, and uneducated on the issues. And for the most part it's not their fault. They have been lied to, and misled by idiots like Rush Limpbow, Bush and all the rest. They're guilty of being naive, and trusting of their leaders.
The same can be said for the far left as well.

right wingers on Orly Taiz blog also complained on this but consider this:

they are showing pictures taken from a U Tube Video of a man they say is "Objection at Joint session", as if the man was raising his hand in objecting to Obama being elected and their comments reinforce that belief.

If you view the U Tube Video it is clear the man is smiling and waving his hand as all people around him are cheering and clapping. That man was Al Green, Democrat from Texas, a strong Obama supporter. They still claim he was objecting to Obama.

not all right wingers are delusional but those Orly Fans certainly are!

wow, I just found myself nodding in agreement with JeffnD...not so much with your conclusions, but with the broad brush & both sides being lied to. know when a politician is lying? the lips are moving.

oh & I hate rastafarians. (except for peter tosh & bob marley ;) & I hate ninjas. those little turtles killed it for me.

ah, hell. I'm tired of hating. aren't you? it's exhausting & doesn't change a damn thing but the hater.

have no idea why that would spook "right-wingers".

Please do not use the term "spook".
--The White House

A joke (i.e. hoax) story about Obama requiring military to pledge allegience to him instead of constitution drove right wing blogs wild till they found out it was a hoax.

If it's a negative story on Obama they jump on it, no need to check. The above story was so obviously phony yet they fell for it. What does that tell you?

I call bullshit on "Mr. Know-it-All". How do you know YOU aren't the one that's being naiive and lied to, eh?

"I'm sorry to see you ... hate people for no other reason that who they vote for."

El Hombre Cabron raises a point worth discussing. Let's soften a "hate" that exists only in his goatish mind. Then can we - er - look down on folks for their votes. I suggest a qualified yes, not unlike Catholic gyrations that it's a sin to vote Obama ONLY for his reproductive rights stance: If you knew what he was doing, didn't care, if his other views did not outweigh this one ... you better come in, Charley, to confession. My money is on MOST folks who vote Repub not having any notion what they're doing, not being motivated by destruction of our economy, our human race and the environment. Someone explain to me why I'm wrong. herm
