Former Vermont governor Howard Dean stepped down as chairman of the Democratic National Committee yesterday to thunderous applause. "We have rebuilt our party, and we have taken our country back," Dean told several hundred DNC members attending the party's winter meeting in Washington. "We have rebuilt our party into a national powerhouse."

And no cabinet position?

Likely bacause he screwed up the FL and MI primary so badly.

Bye bye Howie--

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH
AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

What will the dems do without the madman SCREAMING HOWARD DEAN!!!

Maybe the Rtard party could use a few screaming madmen. Then they wouldn't be a party of LOSERS and pantspissing obstructionists.

Better luck with the new party. What was that new name again?????? Oh, that's right: The Crazy Fucking Crack Whores for Bejus. Jeb and Sarah in '12 for the CFCWB party!!!!

Good luck professor Dean...

and Thank You...

And you can yell YEAH just as much as you want after helping kick serious GOP booty.

What will the dems do without the madman SCREAMING HOWARD DEAN!!!

What would you do if you didn't have 3 second soundbites to form your opinions?

If the lead driver in the auto race crashes on the last lap,
did the driver behind him win the race or did the driver that crashed lose the race?

In the bottom of the 9th, if the right fielder drops a pop fly and the runner on 3rd scores,
did the runner win the game or did the fielder lose the game?

Did the people throw Republicans out of office over the economy or,
did Democrat policy propel them into power?

In all three scenarios, your perspective depends on your familiarity and game watching experience.

I gotta admit I was very happy voting for Obama but I would have been just as happy voting for any other Democrat considering what the Rtards had running.

The Democrats have a great history of LOSING elections. I think this is one that was a gift from the Rtards. They didn't even have to try to win this time.

Better luck to the Crazy Fucking Crack Whores for Bejus....The NEW GOP!!!!

The driver behind him won the race. It's not over till it's over.

The fielder lost the game. That is why it is called an error.

Democrat policy propelled them into power. Corupt policies lose elections.

Pro,

Be honest here!! Charles Manson and Dennis Rodman could have beaten Cranky and Moosefart Barbie.

There is an old saying in racing. "You have to finish to win".

Thanks Howard!

You took a beating for an isolated sound bite and came back to devise a winning 50-state strategy and deliver a thorough ass-whuppin' to the GOP.

Well done!

I didn't see any evidence of Dean doing anything to help Obama win. Obama's team won the day. Dean's departure is the best news I've heard out of the Obama win.

I never thought Dean was concerned with the welfare of the country. He always struck me as a bitter partisan power queen, much like Rahm Emmanuel.

Dean is dreamin if he thinks the party is a power house.

The party is on a temperary up, and if they don't perform with work and action this power house will fall very fast.

Well..... bye! Who cares? This man stopped being relevant ages ago & said relevence was always questionable.

Howard Dean's voice broke at a political rally.

Beyond that, I will challenge anybody here to name one thing H. Dean said or did to merrit the 'crazy wacko' description that rightards here throw around.

I have issued this challenge here before and never had so much as one response.

FWTHom, step up to the plate and take a swing.

I'll check back in a bit and see what we have.

Great job Dr. Dean. The results are self evident.

Approval of Democrats in Congress is 15% higher than Republicans, President Obama at 77% approval (Latest Research 2000 poll 1-22-09).

Good job and good luck with whatever you choose. America has come to it's senses, and thanks to your hard work people who care about the Average Joe are back in power.

Dean is the one who pushed Obama to use a 50-state strategy. Obama has said this himself. It was Obama's team that did a lot of the legwork to get it done, but Dean was the architect behind it.
