Talking about the holes in yer head again, FuckWit?
On Topic?
The POTUS who started out as a grass roots community organiser now is encouraging people to "fight for change" on a local level by organising?
No surprises there.
Makes nothing but sense to Spud.
Also, it sounds a heckuva lot like JFK's famous exhortation to "ask not wot yer country can do fer you..." thingy which was some damn fine rhetoric in Spud's opinion.
Also on the "wot's not too like about this guy" list is a promise by Obama to run the most open and tranparent WH EVAR. He'll start by having an open house, literally, on Jan 21, which is a good sign.
Will Obama's call for people to make real change happen have any takers?
Well, his inspirational leadership to date has garnered him an impressive record breaking 300,000 plus resumes of people eager to work with him in DC to do just that.
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Just weeks after opening shop, the Obama transition team has been flooded by what looks like an unprecedented wave of hundreds of thousands of resumes from people who want positions in the new president's administration.
Hundreds of thousands of applicants want to work for President-elect Barack Obama.
"We've actually had more than 300,000 expressions of interest," Obama transition spokesman Nick Shapiro told CNN Radio.
That is roughly equivalent to the entire population of Iceland.
It dwarfs the 44,000 applicants reported by a Bush transition spokeswoman to the San Francisco Chronicle just days before George W. Bush was inaugurated in January 2001. The Clinton transition team in 1993 put its number of applicants near Inauguration Day at approximately 100,000. And the Obama boom has another month to build.

So in short, yeah, he has a real chance to help make much needed changes here.
Be Well.
