Victums of violent crimes more often then not are not responsable for medical bills. In California the state picks up the tab.

Considering it's been at least 8 years since his last conviction, to sue somebody as soon as they get money shows it's all about money in the end. Forget that the guy will never be able to get a job or have a normal life because of the scarlet letter of sex offender.

Actually if you read the article, the dude has multiple offenses against children under the age of 13.

I don't think this guy counts as one of those sex offenders we should pity. Someone who is caught, convicted, and released 3 times? Yeah, it's probably GOOD that everyone knows where he is. However, those who beat him should be punished to the full extent of the law. It's not up to some random assholes to decide if he's allowed to live or not.

So, the passing of 8 years makes the victims ok because of what this fucker did? He may have paid criminally, but he still hasn't paid these victims for the pain he's inflicted, and the ongoing psychiatric bills they've probably incurred. Fuck this guy, he shouldn't have a dime to his name. So what if it's about the money, these victims lives have been forever altered, and deserve to be compensated out of this guy's hide.

He's probably still a predator, and may use this money to help victimize others. He'll never have a normal life, because he's not normal.
