Never understood why everyone should benefit from organ donation except for the donor himself. Why shouldn't I be allowed to sell my kidney to the highest bidder? Why should hundreds of thousands of people suffer, hoping and praying that their guardian angel sends someone else into a car accident, so they might live? Wouldn't it be more humane to write a check to someone besides the transplant doctors, for a change?
