I called this over a week ago. They only wanted to give the impression they were concerned with the impropriety of the appointment. In the end they want Burris' vote so they can end debate on Franken's seating, and seat him too.

This was always a State's Rights issue and nothing to do with the Governor (who is still the sitting Governor by the way). The Senate has no authority to dictate to ANY state who they may appoint to congress.

Harry is out of his league and needs to be replaced.

This is a matter to be resolved by the laws of the state of Illinois BEFORE the US CONGRESS takes up the issue!
