btw -- Last month I was required to fill out an application form for city in which I live. One of the sections on the form required me to check off my race/enthnicity. I was surprised to even find it on a government form and didn't even know that info was allowed to be asked anymore:

You were required to check off a box in front of whichever group applied to you. And where you see the capitalization of the word "AND" it was because it was capitalized that way on the application form. The application form also, for some reason, even had a separate section set apart for "Hispanic/Latino Ethnicity.
