"'[Expletive] you!' Ickes shouted. '[Expletive] you!' Penn replied. '[Expletive] you!' Ickes shouted again."

Now that's some good campaign staff.

What??

No shoe-throwing incident??

Interesting list, Doc.

FTA:7) Network TV's military analysts (New York Times): The Times' David Barstow exhaustively reported on lucrative ties between TV's military analysts, the Pentagon and lobbying firms. While broadcast and cable news networks largely ignored the front-page scoop, bloggers kept on the story. Last month, in a story headlined "One Man's Military-Industrial-Media Complex," Barstow followed up with a lengthy look at NBC analyst and retired Army Gen. Barry McCaffrey, who's profited from deals with private military contractors.

Why don't broadcast and cable news networks want to comment on a story in which their own complicity in the propaganda is explored?

Oh right, nevermind.

Be Well.

"Why don't broadcast and cable news networks want to comment on a story in which their own complicity in the propaganda is explored?"

Such a mystery, eh, Spud? The webs and clouds get thicker and thicker.

Sertiously no mention of the Shoe being thrown and ZERO mention of "BlagoGATE"?? FOR SHAME

I have to agree. The shoe toss thing was pure poetry.

the only thing that would have made it more interesting is if it had been tossed by Anderson Cooper and it was a pair of stilletos.

The shoe toss was hardly a 'scoop'. The room was full of journalists and even the perp was a journo.

Blagobitch was possibly a scoop for someone, though.

Are we going to be allowed to talk about the dems like B. Frank who are no doubt responsible for removing banking controls and hurting our economy... Or are we just ging to blame the next four years all on Bush too?

For 16 years reformers in Congress have tried to improve oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and prevent the government-chartered companies from putting the housing market and the whole economy at risk. All that time, Frank was involved in efforts to block those attempts, and in the last eight years he was a leader of those efforts.

Edwards was a "scoop" by the National Enquirer, of all things. The rest is just news reported by everyone.
