It is that the SCOTUS and numerous inferior courts have found that no one has the status to challenge eligibility. The courts have not ruled on the substance of the allegations, just denied any person or entity the power to secure a judicial determination of the facts.

Regardless of which outcome you champion, think about that aspect of the matter. It really is chilling.

When the SCOTUS declines to take a case without comment they are not making a finding or a ruling. In order to do so they would have had to take the case, then rule it was without merit, or that the complainant didn't have status.

In only 1 of the cases did a lower court rulings say the complainant didn't have status. In the others the lower courts ruled them without merit.

You're missing something. Both parents would have to be American citizens for the baby to be considered American if born outside of America. Also, there is a time period for how long the mother had lived in the US. I think it's 5 years. Regardless, if Obama was born in Kenya, like so many are saying, then he would not be an American citizen.
