Obviously violence is wrong any under circumstances but what's wrong with slogans like "Buy American"? My spouse and I always try to buy local, union, and American.

We see no reason to send our money overseas unless there are no other reasonable alternatives.

Working people everywhere should begin to recognize who our enemies are and act accordingly. Why we allow the bought and paid for scum to pretend they are dignified statesmen is beyone me. They should not even be able to attend public events without public disapproval being expressed loudly and obnoxiously. This is the attitude right-winger had during the beginning of the Iraq War. Anyone who dared question the Decider-in-Chief was branded a terrorist. The GOP's moves resulted in the FBI receiving only 2% of the requested funds for the FBI to update it's technology and outdated desktop computers, and rather than being able to hire nearly 400 new agents to work in anti terrorism, they only got the funds to hire 7.

September 11th, 2001, FBI agents had to FedEx pictures of suspects because they did have powerful enough desktop computers to scan and email the pics.

Republicans changed their tune after 9/11, but they were hardly on board before that date as Clinton sought to bolster our anti terrorism efforts.

97 Taurus, 98 Cavalier. Before that Windstar and Ford tempo. My son has a Cavalier, my step family escape, F-150, Windstar and Focus.

I don't go around asking strangers their party affiliations and car preferences, but of the pople I know, it seems the democrats are more likely to own foreign cars.

An excellent example of his can be seen at the oil field heliport. Most oil field workers are very right wing. The parking lots at the heliports have acres and acres of American built trucks and cars. It is very unusual to see a foreign car in that lot -- my estimate is 1 in 30 or so.

So maybe Bunning isn't helping the auto industry, but a whole lot of other republicans are!

Buy American. You mean like my Ford that was designed in Europe and has a Mazda engine and running gear? Or the two GMs we've owned that were simply re-badged Suzukis? Maybe the Chrysler that had a Mitsubishi engine and drive train? Cause I've always bought American... Except for the Miata we used to own and the MGB we had a few years back.
