Bettie Page, one of the first playboy models, a notorious bondage model, the inspiration for "Bettie Page Clubs" around the globe and one of the most photographed and famous women EVAR is dead but her beauty and her fame (or infamy in some folk's books) will go on ferever.

All this despite the fact that she became "born again" in 1961 and spent the rest of her life handing out religious pamphlets and yearning to be a missionary. Bettie even worked for Billy Graham's organisation for a while.

If you use google to look fer images of Bettie however you will find very few that show her handing out religious tracts however.

Mostly you'll find stuff like...

I can't believe that Bettie Page isn't getting the respect in death she deserves since for a lot of the older guys here on the DR (myself included) she was the first pinup we ever pined for (to be diplomatic). She smiled and sed that she was her "kindred spirit" and was so pleased that Spud knew who she was, had mentioned the resemblance in his first sentence to her and shared her luff fer Bettie also that Spud is get a special lap dance from her.

Not really sure were if the blog-god is on the same *ahem* Page as the Gimme and Spud but Spud really hasta post a pic of Bettie's famed Merry Christmas Playboy pic published in the mid fifties.
