This is not a time for the left wing of our Party to draw conclusions about the Cabinet and White House appointments that President-Elect Obama is making.

Liberals voice concerns about Obama

More whining.

I agree Corky, Bush and the Republicans are leaving him with as large of an economic disaster as they can possibly engineer, which I believe, they have done so purposely and with malice. They are attempting to finish off their agenda of "starve the beast" and are dispicable POS. However, I believe President Obama will handle the situation well if we just give him a little time and lots of support. In the long run the Republicans are going to regret being such poor losers.

All the guy has to do is eat a pretzel without becoming unconscious and he'll be considered a success.

"All the guy has to do is eat a pretzel without (choking) and he'll be... a success."

He already gets a higher grade than the incumbent simply by not being George Bush. I find all appointments so far competent centrists, as Obama is a competent centrist.

Maybe as a sop to those who worked hardest for his election, he could name one bonnyfied progressive, maybe Kucinich as secretary of labor, Nader or Gore for the Department of the Interior.

Meanwhile I can derive some amusement by Obama's not yet having turned the nation over to an army of commies. Say, are there any more commie anywhere? herm
