Washington state Supreme Court judge Richard Sanders has admitted that he was the one who stood up and yelled "tyrant!" at U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey last week during a speech. "I believe we must speak our conscience in moments that demand it, even if we are but one voice," said Sanders, who wasn't present later when Mukasey fainted during the speech.

A liberal judge called someone he cannot stand a tyrant. LOL. Maybe he wanted to skin Bush alive and Mukasey stood in the way.

Wow. Shades of John Wilkes Booth...

For you rock & roll fans, hear also Scott Miller & the Commonwealth:

"A liberal judge called someone he cannot stand a tyrant."

Takeyermedz:

You righties have spent the last year calling someone you cannot stand - Obama - a good deal worse than a tyrant.

Chill out.

he is a tyrant--good for the judge

I know Sanders and this is not like him; something set him off.

Poor stupid takeituptheass.Maybe somebody should teach him about the Google, or does reality go against what he thinks the Bible says?

* Law schools and the legal profession are currently strongly dominated by a form of orthodox liberal ideology which advocates a centralized and uniform society. While some members of the academic community have dissented from these views, by and large they are taught simultaneously with (and indeed as if they were) the law.

* The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

Sanders, a Federalist Society member

Hey I like the guy already!

Fuck Mukasey, - pathetic apologist for a broken discredited presidency.

"* Law schools and the legal profession are currently strongly dominated by a form of orthodox liberal ideology which advocates a centralized and uniform society."

Horsecock!

The constitution itself is a liberal document.

"* Law schools and the legal profession are currently strongly dominated by a form of orthodox liberal ideology which advocates a centralized and uniform society."

the only ones advocating uniforms/uniformity are the right wingnut fascist.

A liberal judge called someone he cannot stand a tyrant

...did you miss the part about how Sanders is a member of the Federalist Society?

He's not exactly a "liberal" judge.

Sanders is the kind of man who would yell theater in a crowded fire.

"...did you miss the part..."

He misses quite a bit.

On the otherhand, God speaks to him.

Explains quite a bit.

Hans

There's no way Sanders is a liberal, given his membership in the Federalist Society. I read one site that described his politics as libertarian.

"I believe we must speak our conscience in moments that demand it, even if we are but one voice."

That's one hell of a great quote (and philosophy).

""WASHINGTON, July 16 Forty-four former state attorneys general, mostly Democrats but also some Republicans, have signed a petition asking Congress to investigate whether politics played a role in the criminal case against former Gov. Don E. Siegelman of Alabama.""

And Mukasey is well aware of the injustice of this case yet does nothing, pretends it doesn't exist.
He is a tyrant.

If NYT reports it, then it must not be credible because it is the standard bearer of liberal bias.

"If NYT reports it, then it must not be credible"

But WorldNutDaily is gospel, right?

On the otherhand, God speaks to him.

Oh, I didn't know. That explains everything.

If NYT reports it, then it must not be credible because it is the standard bearer of liberal bias.

Sheesh! Are you kidding me? You lefties have spent 8 years trashing Bush to extreme heights. You even find ways to insult him when the topic is not even about him. You go out of your way to call Bush every single name in the book. And now you're upset about your guy getting some of the same treatment? Give me a frickin' break.

"You lefties have spent 8 years trashing Bush to extreme heights."

He's earned it, based upon his job performance.
