There is a fairly large majority of us that have done some crazy things, drugs and all that that can imply being a big one. Like I said in a thread around two years ago, I have been there and the odds are you have too. Not to get Biblical but, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

It is my business if my kid was in the class/school and it became a distraction to the learning environment. Just as I would expect the school to remove a child for distracting other children from learning (through fighting, disrespecting the teacher, etc.) I would expect the school to remove this distraction - IF it became a distraction. However, my guess would be that most elementary school kids wouldn't be distracted as they probably (and hopefully!) aren't watching porn. It all depends on what it does to the learning environment, and that's when it becomes parents' business.

It's a big deal because it's a crime committed on government (federal?) property, which always carries more weight. In addition, it's a big deal because these teachers are around kids and should have thier full wits about them when teaching our children. Or are you comfortable with teachers having pot around kids? Finally, it's an issue because they usually have a "NO DRUGS" clause when teachers sign their contracts. Legal or not, they're breaking the terms of thier employment contract.

If a teacher came to school high, would you want them teaching your kids? I can see it now:
