Politics aside, I sure hate to see another person in dire straits.

Some years ago a seemingly healthy old woman who had been the wealthy matriarch of the media empire in Louisville was giving a speech at a dinner in her honor when she suddenly collapsed from a stroke or heart attack and died. The governor and other dignitaries were there.

Before delivering her prepared speech, she said she was so flattered by the event that "the best thing would be for a big pink cloud to come down and take me away." Although no clouds were observed, it appears she got her wish.

I guess there are worse ways to go.

That is about as ignorant a statement as one can make. Clinton did eveything he could to ignore the escalating threat from Islamofascists. What you should have said is that if Clinton had the balls he might have done something more than just lob a few missiles and 9/11 may have never have happened.
