Dr Pepper is making good on its promise of free soda now that the release of Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy is a reality, offering a free coupon on its web site Sunday. "We never thought this day would come," said Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper's vice president of marketing.

Mmmm! Yummy!
"Carbonated Water, Sugar/Glucose-Fructose or aspartame for diet soda, Carmel colour,
Artificial and Natural flavors, Phosphoric acid, sodium benzoate,
Caffeine, monosodium phosphate, lactic acid, polyethelene glycol."
Those lucky Chinese! They get our sea port, and possibly soon our auto industry, and we give them liquid shit in a bottle.

The soft-drink maker said in March that it would give a free soda to everyone in America

I never really liked Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper and Fresca are 2 soft drinks that fall under the catagory "What were they thinking!".
And now I have stopped drinking alcohol, and soft drinks completely.
I started to drink a Pepsi about a week ago after not drinking any soda or beer for the past 7 month, and it was so syrupee sweet that I couldn't drink it.
Soft drinks are toxic waste as far as Im concerned. And anything with aspartame in it is deadly poison.
Just google aspartame if you don't believe me.
BTW, We have Donald Rumsfeld to thank for aspartame.

I heard that Axel Grease wrote the songs by carving them one word at a time into logs, rocks, and moose carcasses all throughout the northwestern United States. Then Hub Cap spent the next five years trying to find the word "inconsequential" etched on a bridge somewhere in Idaho.

Isn't a bit early for bong hits?

And Gum of Arabic is mostly supplied by the Bin Laden family... small world.

OF course neither have anything on Monsanto - Try not purchasing high fructose corn syrup for a month.

Your body will thank you.

It is official, Al Jolson's much anticipated album "Mammi Rocks" is slated to blow Spark Plug and bandmates straight to the bottom of the charts.

I enjoy a good ole Dr. Pepper now and then.

That's why I try to not consume it... It's healthier for you to comsume the 200 calories in a bottle of soda than it is for you to drink a diet soda...

Now the thing is to try and remember for the next two day.... I am getting old and remembering longer than 5 minutes is getting hard..

It is always 4:20 somewhere.

I'm with you Kanrei. Hard to beat a good ol' wake n bake.

People actually drink Dr. Pepper? Ugh.

Drink it? I know some people whose sole source of daily hydration is Dr. Pepper.

I prefer Mr. Pibb's myself.

Makes "good" on free soda? How about making good soda first? That stuff tastes awful.

Oh, and before I forget, referring to #8 above: I'd do that, if I weren't already thoroughly convinced that I am completely doomed, and it's way too late to correct that now.

That's a lot harder to do than it seems. I try to read most labels at the grocery store and that shit is in pretty much everything. Hell it's even in the freaking bread crumbs I prefer to buy to use for cutlets. I try to avoid it, but sometimes it's near impossible.

Mr. Pibb is a poor imitation of Dr. Pepper. Dude didn't even get his degree.

So very true!!!

Let's just look at this one from a different light.

This is a large corporation that is making good on a promise right?

No, no, I mean really!

There is no way! This baby has three feet. Let's wait for the other two shoes to drop. Corporations do not make good on promises without some kind of hook.

WTF?

Mmmm ..nothin beats a good rum and pepper or even a whisky and pepper...try it...you'll like it...press it if its too sweet .

Open it and let it sit out for a week. It will be as flat as the new GnR album.

Now if they were giving away free beer....

First off, the new GnR album is awesome. I highly recommend it.

But Dr Pepper is counting everyone being too lazy to go online, register for their spam email list, print out a coupon, take it to the store, all for a 20 oz bottle that wouldve cost all of a dollar.
The economy's not QUITE that bad yet...

Probably the caffeine in the soda...

Its been like 4 days and I cant make it through the first halh of the new GnR album with out throwing up in my mouth a little.

Halh = Half

Dr. Pepper is abhorrent perhaps only beaten in foulness by cherry coke.

Fruit juice, gin, guiness, water and black coffee, all you need.

Kanrei/reagan 58. Its a great start to a saturday,
