That seems reasonable to me. Unemployment insurance is an insurance policy paid by employers so, it's not welfare. Besides, giving those folks with kids the cash they need to provide Christmas gifts for their kids benefits the kids as well as the stores that sell those gifts. It's a win-win from my perspective. I have no problem with that.
