and who knows he might be bringing him there just so we can do the old

NANA NANA BOO BOO in person.........

actually its another way that barry is trying to make us believe that he is another lincoln and a lincoln, HE "AINT"..........

Thanks for that BUSHLOVERTWO - (Who in their right mind wouldn't have changed that nick by now?? sheesh)

Meanwhile, here's one of your Neocon friends getting his ass handed to him by the Brits. enjoy. www.truveo.com

I wonder how many times McLoser is going to mention he was a P.O.W.?

Is he gonna have Cindi call him in the middle of the meeting to have him bring home some milk?

I didnt think there was a poster here who could have missed my announcement of my annoucement.

I will premiere my new name on jan 2oth and I picked that date because it will be a slow news day since there is nothing important going onthat day anywhere

It's really fun watching neo-cons getting their asses handed to them like that!
It doesn't do any f'n good though, they go right on with their delusions of adequacy-never once even considering how their incompetence might be harming others.

I wonder how many times McLoser is going to mention he was a P.O.W.?

I voted for Obama, he was the better choice this year, but I hope now that the election is over we can go back to treating Sen. McCain with the respect he and his family has earned with their constant service to America. I didn't like how he ran his campaign, but to me that doesn't take away all he has done for this country, and probably will continue to do for a long time.

green...........what you are talking about goes back, to me anyway, to the primaries.........we need to make sure that dems and independents dont select the republican candidate and that we pick a
CONSERVATIVE And if you believe like jon stewart that this really isnt a center right country then you missed the news about prop 8 in california

then you missed the news about prop 8 in california

And we can just pretend those 3 pro-choice and numerous pro-stem cell reseach propositions didn't happen. Saw O'liar on stewart expalining why america is still center right-his only example was Alabama.

America has shifted slightly to center left, though if you believe the Frightened Righties, it's now left of Cuba.

Idiots.

and people have said that harris county here has changed to the left because of the vote for barry and that is WaY OFF BASE

remember that in harris county,,..,.houston....we were 'invaded' by thousands upon thousands of people from new orleans of which thousands have stayed...........

and I still cant believe that so many of you call orieely a liar...........he himself has moved toward the middle in some cases.........

and I still thing a conservative candidate...A REAL ONE THIS TIME..........can win..but when you have to beat your oppenent..AND THE MEDIA< it does make it harder

and I still thing a conservative candidate...A REAL ONE THIS TIME..........can win.

But Bob Barr didn't, did he? Or do you still believe the GOP will run anything but a Evanjihadist-approved (TM) fiscal moron on a culture war platform in 2012?

..AND THE MEDIA

cuz no conservatives get a fair shake on Fox.

You are right. Conservatives do not get a fairshake on Fox. Fox is now a liberal news outlet just like CNN.

bushlovertwo

pick a conservative that isn't an idiot next time.

and throw newt into the trash compactor. back to the garbage where he belongs

actually its another way that barry is trying to make us believe that he is another lincoln and a lincoln, HE "AINT"..........

Well, you would know that, wouldn't you?

"actually its another way that barry is trying to make us believe that he is another lincoln and a lincoln, HE "AINT".........."

how bout we wait till he's actually president
and let history decide

instead of pre-emptive.. oh wait you love bush, nevermind.

but when you have to beat your oppenent..AND THE MEDIA

Yeah that librul media, like CBS:

Among the materials that money has shaken free for Mr. Rather are internal CBS memorandums turned over to his lawyers, showing that network executives used Republican operatives to vet the names of potential members of a panel that had been billed as independent and charged with investigating the "60 Minutes" segment.

Some of the documents unearthed by his investigation include notes taken at the time by Linda Mason, a vice president of CBS News. According to her notes, one potential panel member, Warren Rudman, a former Republican senator from New Hampshire, was deemed a less-than-ideal candidate over fears by some that he would not "mollify the right."

Meanwhile, Mr. Thornburgh, who served as attorney general for both Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, was named a panelist by CBS, but only after a CBS lobbyist "did some other testing," in which she was told, according to Ms. Mason's notes, "T comes back with high marks from G.O.P."

Another memorandum turned over to Mr. Rather's lawyers by CBS was a long typed list of conservative commentators apparently receiving some preliminary consideration as panel members, including Rush Limbaugh, Matt Drudge, Ann Coulter and Pat Buchanan. At the bottom of that list, someone had scribbled "Roger Ailes," the founder of Fox News.

And if you believe like jon stewart that this really isnt a center right country then you missed the news about prop 8 in california?

Translation:

California saved the country by beating those deviant homo's out of having equal rights, because my religion says fags shouldn't marry, and personal prejudice should always trump personal rights.

-BL2 & others

I hope more and more "true conservatives" see Fox as just another liberally biased news outlet. The end result of that will be the further marginalization of the flat earth crowd. So bully to that.
Fox is currently walking a k-yed tightrope: either keep playing to the resentment base, or tilt a little more towards being a centrist, legit news channel... It's a weird time for them, and, as we can see, they don't know how to play this yet. Their rabid followers are disillusioned, want more blood; but their rabid followers are being shown for what they are -- an undesirable demographic of angry, constipated white people who think John Birch would be the ideal candidate. Fun times ahead.

green...........what you are talking about goes back, to me anyway, to the primaries.........we need to make sure that dems and independents dont select the republican candidate and that we pick a
CONSERVATIVE

The problem with the Republican party is all the conservatives are tied to the Christian Right. I'm sorry but Americans don't like that, I personally can't stand it and I'm done voting GOP until they stop giving those people such a powerful voice in the party.

If Republicans get back to States rights, limited government, small budgets and low taxes then I'll give them a look again. The GOP better pray Obama isn't a monumental success though, if he is, they're done for a long time.

i think as american's
we should pray that EVERY president is a HUGE success.

regardless of party politics

we are all americans
and america should have the best leader in the world.

always.

now i know we don't always get that
but we should pray we do.

those that don't like obama
you should pray that your fears are unjustified
and those that like obama
should pray that he does everything he's claimed he will do

and if you don't pray
then hope

i think as american's
we should pray that EVERY president is a HUGE success.

You're right. My statement came across as putting party over politics, I didn't mean it that way. I think what I was trying to get across was with a lot of the problems we see today if Obama handles them and we come out better on the other side then he will surely be re-elected and probably his VP or another Democrat too. It will be a long time before the GOP sniffs the White House. But if he does poorly (or if these problems just can't be fixed quickly enough), the public will probably quickly forget the past 8 years.

"If Republicans get back to States rights, limited government, small budgets and low taxes then I'll give them a look again."

Get back to??? When did they ever really stand for that??? I'm fairly old and can't remember a time when they did.

Gosh, Danni, one whole station that doesn't have a liberal slant. One single station that doesn't slam republicans on every single show with a host and guests. One station out of the several that report news and offer editorial style journalism. Wow! Conservatives get a 'fair shake' on one damn station. And that just eats you alive doesn't it? Libs will never be happy until every conservative voice is silenced (see the Fairness Doctrine) and the only thing available to the viewer or listener is of a liberal point of view. Really showing that liberal tolerance we're all so well aware of.

Oh, really? Just like you did with Bush I suppose.

Obama: Well John, I've certainly inherited a mess.
McCain: Yes, I'd heard your Grandmother passed away.

Obama meets McCain?

Yes, but which McCain is he gonna meet?

The bi-partisan, hands across the aisle, "agents of intolerance", "BushCo tax cuts are bad for America" version of 1999 or the Neo-Con meatpuppet V2.0 who ran against him this year?

Perhaps McCain has recieved upgrades and has a third version of himself he's trying to work the bugs out of?

Hey, wot's that?...

John "I am the Walrus" Notlob?

Getting his undiplomatic ass handed to him by an audience of people who know wot they are talking about?

Woo Hoo! That some good stuff. Ta, Spud did enjoy!

Gotta luff Brit teevee new shows.

Flipping back and forth between American newschannels and the BBC Worldnews is like night and day and easily underscores Spud's perennial point that American news has, in the main, failed the people in it's primary mission in life which is to inform on an adult level and to be a checking and balancing entity.

The hopelessly naive arguments still found in blogworld regarding the so-called left wing media utterly fails to grasp the essential point that all news in the US is corporate and exist mostly to distract from sunbstanative debate and issues and to lead puplic opinion around by the nose under the guise of reflecting it.

Spud lives in hope that one day enuff people will figure this out.

/And Yes, Spud realises that this problem with corporately filtered news is not unique to the US just that US News is so egregiously and obviously trying to dumb y'all down.
//Spud would be much less choked if it didn't seem to be working so well.

Be Well.

"Really showing that liberal tolerance we're all so well aware of."

I think I lost my "liberal tolerance" when I realized that the last three Republican (conservative) presidents have left us over 10 trillion dollars in debt. I think the economic crisis we find ourselves in right now has helped eliminate that tolerance too. I really think that those who WHINE about the Fairness Doctrine ought to possibly consider that if we had it these past 30 years, since Ronnie RAygun, they might have realized that their heroic conservative leaders were leading this country right into the toilet.
If every station had to balance right wing wacko lies with reasoned discourse it would be a better country. Some of these haters, starting with Rush Limbaugh are destructive to the nation and their followers are becoming increasingly dangerous as even the Secret Service has said.

"Yes, but which McCain is he gonna meet?"

I think McCain's concession speech showed that he is a good guy... maybe the campaign took him to a place that changed him but I think he'll return to the Senator that most Americans liked before the election. The desire to be President and probably the reality of the coming loss forced him to go very dirty.

McCain is a great American (He comes from a good line of them), I have hope that he's going to assist President Elect Obama where ever he needs to in this transitional period.

"No kidding! "Republicans" have become as mythical as unicorns.

Don't badmouth Unicorns!

They aren't gay!
