Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Thursday, November 20, 2008

For awhile, we looked at a picture of Dukakis in the top left corner. It was later replaced with our Commander in Chief in his pilot costume. With Bush going out of office, I think it is only fitting to change the picture again. What does everyone else think and what picture should Rogers use if he did change it?

I'd like to see one of Cheney in prison stripes.

politicalhumor.about.com

I think this would be a good choice, so that no one ever forgets what George REALLY thought of his country.

Unfortunately, George in his clown costume was never captured on camera.

I'd like to see one of Cheney in prison stripes.

Hearing THAT!

Spud's desire to see the evil war monger behind bars has gotten so strong now that whenever his smug mug appears on Spud's teevee set Spud immediately runs into the kitchen for a fork.

Spud then returns to the teevee and carefully closes one eye and then puts the fork between the other eye and the teevee.

Done just right it makes it look like Dead-eye Dickless is talking to you from behind bars.

Yeah sure, it may seem a little crazy but it's also unimaginably cathartic.

Cheney going to jail?

Orange is a good color for him.

/He's an "autumn", doncha know!

Be Well.

puts the fork between the other eye and the teevee.

On Topic?

The Dukakis picture exemplified why Mikey lost so savagely to a brain dead zombie Reagan.

The Bush "Mission Accomplished" propaganda pic exemplified why Dumbya sucked so harshly as POTUS and CiC.

If Rogers is thinking of updating the pic then Spud suggests either a nice shot of Obama, possibly the ubiquitous "Hope" one or.....

Since this is a political humour site with a bit of a lean to the left then perhaps a pictorial reason why McLame lost so harshly and ended up being the underdawg on his own ticket.

Spud suggests... THIS ONE

In point of fact, the damage that Dumbya has done will continue to wreak havoc long after he's outta office and the fundy freakazoids who's comandeered the GOP are already floating Scary Failin as a candidate in 2012 so there's really no rush.

Be Well.

Spud considered it but then realised he might miss out on another ad pic of the luffly Giada DeLaurentis and that would be a crying shame.

Cos Giada is YUMMY!

How about replacing Bush's picture with another one of him --

BUSH PORTRAIT

Look closely. You'll see the portrait is made up of tiny photos. This was the famous mosaic made by an American artist which is made up entirely of tiny pictures of each of our military soldiers and Marines who died in Iraq for Bush's war. At the time the original mosaic was done (around 2004) only 700 of our military men and women had died. Now, of course, it's more than 4000 dead.

Let's keep up this reminder to show the human cost this war of choice in Iraq made by the worst President in U.S. history -- lest we ever forget.

A portrait of Herbert Hoover.

Re my #12 post

The original mosaic was done by an artist named Joe Wezorek (who did it in three different sizes).

The link below is to a website showing a larger version of the "War President" mosaic and you can more clearly see the individual faces which make up Bush's portrait. I first saw it a couple years ago and had forgotten about that portrait until this thread.

btw -- Hopefully most of y'all know me well enough by now to know my feelings against the Iraq war have only to do with Bush and his Administration and I lay absolutely NO blame on any members of our military.

See larger portrait of mosaic below. It's really quite an artistic piece.

How about a picture of Sarah Palin during her beauty queen days!

Hey how about a portrait of RCADE in a Pair of Speedos?? That might get the Chicks in Here You dig??

Larry

It might make them run away, along with everyone else, lol!

So that we will all remember the Republican Party (may it rest in peace) I think that a picture of Sarah Palin would represent all that it stood for and remind us all of why it has disappeared.

"Should Rogers change the picture of George Bush?"

Since the Dukakis thing happened 20 years ago, I say that rcade should be in no hurry to replace the pic of dubya.

Let's raise this issue again in 2028.

How about the TIME Obama FDR cover pic?

newsbusters.org

People will see what they want to in the that pic.

I mean this sincerely even though it might look like I was trying to make a racists joke but I mean it

we will be PAST RACE if rcade felt like he could put a silly picture of obama somewhere.......if something like THAT were to happen and he wasnt screamed at about then,,,THEN I might think that we were getting past race..........

AND ALSO>..

maybe he can change it the same day I PREMIERE MY NEW HANDLE>............( oh shit...new handle??? thats a little too CB radio days isnt it???)

Palin topless. That is all.

People will see what they want to in the that pic.

I can't believe Obama hasn't stopped smoking... and to do so publicly!!

This one is perfect:

Instead of a pic, how 'bout a song.

Since Laura refuses to wear the leather good her Shrubbie got her, I guess that the one he likes for him (the one with the spike lined leather thong and well padded pouch) is out of the question.

Why, Prop. 8 Obama, of course.

Bwahahahaha....LOL Cookfish.... oh no here comes the boss. Back to work!!

How about Bush holding "My Pet Goat" on 9/11?

Paulson (and/or Bernanke) with a gun robbing the US Treasury.

They are doing to our country what Rubin did you Russia. Its going to be disasterous. The health care reform debate, which in any form would cost less tha this fiasco has raged on for decades, getting nowhere. The damage done so far with these two representatives of the Bush, Rockerfeller, JP Morgans, Rothschilds and other leacherous families that own the Federal Reserve was acconmplished in ONE WEEK. Where did the money go? The scoundrels in charge aren't telling anyone, not even Congress.

Proof positive we do not live in a Democracy.

Right on spot nutcase, but let's not forget the Democratic held congress who should be on every media outlet known to man demanding to know where it went and for what. They are all crooks!!

MAD MAGAZINE BUSH!

WHAT ME WORRY?

I would love to second Corky's proposal for the TIME Magazine F.D.R. photo, but I'm sure copyright issues wouldn't permit its use, at least not without a licensing fee, which might force the sale of a few server gerbils.

So, as a serious proposal, I think we should wait until Dubya is being perp-walked into the Hague, and use a shot of that.

To remind ourselves how we let it happen.

I vote for Obama in his turban, since we are now a socialist country and will soon have to buy foreign vehicles, thus further weakening our economy by sending scarce dollars for overpriced vehicles out of the country!

You know, the more I mull this over, the more I think this old favorite is the perfect pick:

bokertov.typepad.com

As Obama's administration begins feeling its way, people are going to get impatient with him, and I think it might be very useful to have a reminder here that not only could things get worse, for an appallingly long time, they were worse.

Put Dukakis back, as a reminder of the kind of failure we don't want.

How about Obama snorting a line of coke?

Fred

If you've got the picture, you can be more famous and richer than Joe the Plumber.
