Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Republican governors were the brightest spot in an otherwise dispiriting election last week for the GOP, but the chief executives gathered in Miami Wednesday provided a gloomy assessment of their party's failures and a dark forecast for the future. "They fired us with cause," said Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

"'They fired us with cause,' said Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal."

Hmm. Jindal may actually have some damn sense.

Enjoy your exile in the Wilderness-butt-munchers!

No one could deserve it more than you do.

how a Republican took over the Louisianna Governorship is beyond my comprehension. I suppose all the poor people are dead or gone.

You betcha!

No really, if the repubes can get past their prejudices then Jindal is your future. Not Gov. Bimbo.

BWHAHAHAHAHA Serves those lowly bastards right. hehehehehehehehe too fucking funny. I had a friend back in 2003 declare the Republican way was the best way that conservatism was going to outlast Liberalism. I wonder what that Guy thinks now bwhahahahahahahahahah I bet He is shitting Himself stupid trying to figure out what the hell happened. I think it's a blast and a half myself.

Larry

As for the way back, Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. said the governors have a chance to show how to apply Republican principles of fiscal conservatism and smaller government to practical problems. He said they should concentrate on "issues that really matter" to voters, such as education, energy, the environment and health care.

Unfortunately for them, the GOP and Palin are soley focused on gays and abortion. The demographics indicate the Libertarian party currently has a better future.

Larry

It's just the pendulum.

The Republicans forgot about it until it swung back and hit them in the ass.

It'll swing back.

Not to say we can't enjoy it for now.

Oh well, they can still troll the rest stops for gay sex!

TeeHee

They were looking at Palin...

They can look all they want-all they'll ever have is gay sex in rest stops.........

Holy cow! The haters are out front and proud on this Blog tonight. Such poor language and personal attack doesn't support the enlightened and culturally superior claim of the left, does it?

Aren't jabs at the gay lifestyle "White-trash Republican" territory?

About the topic at hand, let's face it, predictions of doom and gloom are and always will be the mantra of the party seeking power, right? Democrat's do it. Republican's do it. Libertarian's do it. Green Party does it. Fear is what motivates us. Fear of the cold and of hunger motivates some to work and others to vote not to have to.

Fear, love and hate are the most base of human emotions. All of which can be seen on display here on any given day. I love this website!

No one could deserve it more than you do.

The Republicans certainly deserve to wander in the wilderness. Just as the Democrats did after 1992.

The difference is that the last time the Republicans were banished, they found their roots and gave the world Ronald Reagan.

When the Democrats were out of power they simply fumed and whined -- once they regained power (Reid, Pelosi) they reverted to their SOP: handing out punishments and favors.

You are correct Frank. The Republicans deserve some time at pasture. But history shows that when they come back, they will devastate you.

Great post! Except it's completely fucking stupid, wrong and pointless. Other than that, you nailed it NorthTurd.

I don't remember Palin or the GOP spending much, if any, time on queers or abortion. That only happens in the feeble minds of Canucks and Liberals.

"how a Republican took over the Louisianna Governorship is beyond my comprehension. I suppose all the poor people are dead or gone."

first, why we have to be poor? and even if we are, what, is that evil or something?

what? i guess you didn't read about the KKK murder the other day 60 miles north New Orleans?

the police said they hadn't seen such a case in a whole 3 years, but then, are they looking? no.

combine that with the history of being THE must corrupted (and unjust) state in the union and you just MIGHT be able to figure it out.

what? you thought civil rights, affirmative action, all were now great victories whose struggles ended last Nov. 4? all of those are great victories, but the weary must remain vigilant or lose it all. so, that... or your life.

"The Republicans certainly deserve to wander in the wilderness. Just as the Democrats did after 1992."

I think you mean 1994, not 1992 (the vern calendar (tm), manufactured by those who brought you the vern calculator (tm)).

"The difference is that the last time the Republicans were banished, they found their roots and gave the world Ronald Reagan."

When was that? 1964? (vern history (tm), manufactured by those who brought you the vern calculator (tm)).

Hans

It appears you are saying that when the Republicans are out of power, we (all) should be aware that they are willing to perform illegal actions (even to the expense of our security) to regain/hold onto power. Even a brief review of the Iran-Contra history and the highly suspect secret dealings by the Republicans during the time of the Iran hostages release should give anyone pause.

Your warning is duly noted.

So where were these people the whole time they were doing all of the things that got them sent packing? Right there with them telling us all how great it was, of course. Where else would they have been? Does anyone have any fucking sense?

Even now, Jindal is doing great things for LA. Cities like New Orleans will see what it's like to be governed by the party of poverty pimps, who store a hundred thousand dollars in their refrigerator.

Those who would deride Jindal, are themselves probably living off the public dole, or benefit in someway from a Democrat welfare state.

"He that will not work, let him not eat!"

I don't remember Palin or the GOP spending much, if any, time on queers or abortion

Obviously Vernon, you missed the whole we're so great for keeping Trig and Bristol's baby storyline-the only one (other than Sam the fake plumber) to come out of Palin's mouth. That and the "be afraid" of Obama bullshit that were McLost and Plain's main campaign theme.

Dole ran on the God loves me more ticket, too.
Too bad those dogs won't hunt anymore...

The problem with Ronald Reagan was that even though he cut back spending on social programs, he left a 3 trillion dollar deficit. How? How all "conservatives" do. Spend more for pork projects and defense. Why? To benefit their friends, who are lobbyist, not the actual poor who need it the most.

Fucked up.

Very similar to G.W.Bush

Even though "conservatives" preach loving thy neighbor, they follow it to the T....meaning they only love THEIR neighbor (who lives in the same rich gated country club). Not all countrymen by any means.

HOLY COW!!!!

Holy indeed 101!

101...is your only goal in life to be a racist? You have accomplished that. Find another hobby.

Oh yah....your bible was made up. It was really meant to be a raunchy sex/violence novel

HAHAHA

101

What completely evades me is that you will vote for bobby jindal next election. He is Indian-American. Sucks that none of you rednecks cant compete anymore. Looks like education really matters now.

Don't have a cow you poor little bastard, I don't care about the bible, jesus, god/s, etc.

What I do find funny is how on one hand you try to pretend like you take the high road, and then in consecutive posts lamely and ineffectively take the low road.

I'd stick around and taunt you, but I'm so hungry I could eat a cow.

Anyone for a drink?

Read your first sentence and tell me how much an education has helped you...

I'm eating a 1/4 pound cow sandwich right now. The beef is rare, too, so it more resembles the way it looked right when they cut it out of the dead cow.

I'm going to create a second handle so I can Funny Flag my #29...

"I'm going to create a second handle so I can Funny Flag my #29..."

Saved you the hassle, 101.

Hans

Thanks!
I think I sprained my fingers trying to get to google images in such a haste...

I was in Lousiana for the Hurricane Gustav and saw Jindal on TV. He seemed like a pretty straight shooter. Govs on both sides seem to be that way, more so than "national" politicians. They have to get results every day, they can't play politics on every issue.

"...the party of poverty pimps, who store a hundred thousand dollars in their refrigerator."

This is probably the definitive clue to Theo's mindset. It's Reagan 's Cadillac-driving welfare queen all over again. The poor have hundreds of thousands stashed in their computerized freezers - while collecting relief payments extorted from poor overworked taxpayers like Mr. Nebs. herm

hermaphrodite is too fucking stupid to comprehend that the quote he used was about Jefferson, not poor black people.

And I'm suffering incurable shudders from the image of the bogus paratrooper eating a cow. Just stick in whatever male equipment you may possess, "101," and skip the foreplay. herm

**************************

Joe. Your posts are irrelevant. I eat beef.

101. Education has helped me see how ignorant you are.

Funny how these so called conservatives have no real argument to my comments. They just use superficial slanders to try and make it a schoolyard fight.

I agree with what you said in the thread. I was just looking for an opportunity to offend someone. If you know any non-meat-eaters please send them to this thread.
