No thanks.

I'm satisfied with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will pray for Obama as our President, but I do not want him as an idol. No way!

My advice to Obama: humble yourself and truly seek guidance and favor from our heavenly Father above. Do not get vindictive and do not try to turn this nation into a police state to favor liberal agenda. You will do well if you keep these two things in mind. Although it was stopped before harm could be done, the 'truth squad' in MO was a demonic attempt to harm freedom of dissent, for example.

TAKITEZ

Don't worry. Obama's a real compassionate Christian who prays for guidance and doesn't listen to voices in his head pretending to be God like W does.

His faith is very important to him.

Do not get vindictive and do not try to turn this nation into a police state to favor liberal agenda.

You lost me there. You mean like using the Justice Dept to persecute political opponents and ignore the Constitution when convenient like Bush has?

You mean like using the Justice Dept to persecute political opponents and ignore the Constitution when convenient like Bush has?

yes

and talk is also out there about having a national holiday in his honor

isnt it about time we got off the obamamania kick

he won with the help of the media and millions of duped americans.
lets just get on with it....ONENDONE that is.......

of course if we were to put THAT holiday with ML king day it might

OOPS>>>>>>>>>>>SHIT forgot, you can only do that with DEAD WHITE guys.........

isnt it about time we got off the obamamania kick

He's been president-elect for six days. You really think we're done celebrating?

Liberty?

article.nationalreview.com

My advice? Don't listen to anything TookItOften says.

Tobillos Arriba!!

We haven't even started celebrating. I don't think it's really sunk in yet in a lot of places.

I keep expecting that when they realize that Bush is really going to leave (supposedly) that this is what will happen.....

www.youtube.com

I wonder if any Presidential Admin has back peddled so quickly and tried to lower expectations so soon after the election.

Everyone but his most loyal sycophants knew he was going to over-promise and under-deliver. In his victory speech he already set the tone and tried to lower expectations. Then this morning I hear Pelosi, Reid, and Obama doing even more lowering.

I believe Taxman saw this coming and called his shot. Kudos to him.

How do you guys feel about bailing out the automakers? Reid and Pelosi are quite the combo. Maybe you can all tell us how this is the republicans fault?

"You really think we're done celebrating?"

That's OK...you deserve a celebration for the SECOND president you've elected since 1976. All those folks getting tingles up their legs will arrive at an orgasm in time though. I'm developing a "wait and watch" attitude myself. I think a lot of my little leftist-socialist friends may be disappointed somewhat. You know, most of the new electees in Congress aren't exactly extreme leftists. I only hope that they can help in controlling the "old hands."

online.wsj.com

This describes a problem for him also.

online.wsj.com

Under no circumstance do I want to see him "fail" and cause more heartache for the country.

well as a matter of fact lets talk about something

in 72 days we will be witness to a new era. we will be in the midst of a new beginning that will endure "til the 12th of never" and a day that we will all tell our grandchildren about.
there will be joy and celebration in the streets and at last we will see the change that we have all been waiting for

YES THATS RIGHT..........that is the day of the UNVIELING of my new screen name

WHAT.............did you think that something more important than THAT Was happening on jan 20th?????????

"How do you guys feel about bailing out the automakers? Reid and Pelosi are quite the combo. Maybe you can all tell us how this is the republicans fault?"

I think we've been doing that for quite some time, where have you been. We even had an election and the Republicans.....lost. Seems most Americans agree, the economic plight of the US is primarily their fault.

I wonder if any Presidential Admin has back peddled so quickly and tried to lower expectations so soon after the election.

101STCHAIRBORNE

You heard about the financial collapse a few weeks ago and the resulting $700,000,000,000 bailout didn't you?

As to the automakers, there are over 1,000,000 jobs directly and indirectly related to the American auto industry. Would you prefer we lose another million jobs? Personally, I'd rather not continue the Bush policy of losing jobs by the millions if possible.

So it's the republicans fault that Pelosi and Reid are going to give a pile of money to the automakers?
I'm having a difficult time trying to understand your post but that's probably because you couldn't figure out how to answer without bringing the election up while attempting to blame the R's for Pelosi and Reid giving away money to automakers. You're a real gem Manni.

They're talking a $50 billion loan to save 1,000,000 jobs.

A bargain compared to the GOP's bailouts.

Remember Chrysler under Iacocca? Bailout loan? Saved the company?

And this has what to do with Obama claiming he won't get his agenda done in a month, a year, or his first admin?
Look, I gte it, you dupes were desperate and bought everything Bammy told you. Then the night your dreams came true Obama pulled the rug out and basically told you all of his "hope and Change" wasn't going to really get done. Many of us, including his rational supporters like Taxman, knew this.
Now the Obama campaign is lowering expectations like crazy.

Reid and Pelosi can't wait to open the checkbook. Hell, they aren't even going to wait for Obama, they want to spend spend spend.

If 1,000,000 jobs are lostso be it. That's what happens when you sell an inferior product and have so much duplication inside one industry. Let them fail, they earned it.

and talk is also out there about having a national holiday in his honor

Referring to Presidents day?

Jeez, its their status as PRESIDENTS that justified the consolidation, not their whiteness.

But its way too soon to persuasively argue for a holiday in Obama's name. I'd say we give ourselves, as a people, a holiday for being able to finally be willing to elect a black man president.

"I'm having a difficult time trying to understand your post...."

LOL...don't you know that Danni has admitted on the DR to hittin' the bong and the bottle EVERY day? Does THAT help you understand? I just wonder what she HASN'T admiited to...LOL.

You know, I understand where you're coming from on that, but on the other hand, I live in a city with two Ford plants. A GM plant is 2 hours away. A Toyota plant is an hour away. Hundreds of suppliers are located within 100 miles. Even Toyota isn't exactly booming right now. The auto industry in my state (Kentucky) employs something like 60,000 people. Restaurants, shops, entertainment, construction jobs, and everything else are also dependent on those folks. When the shops and restaurants lose jobs, and still more services suffer as a result. I can't just say, "c'est la vie."

I would also contend that American cars are not nearly as bad as they used to be. They used to suck, yes, especially from the 70s through the early 90s. I've driven nothing but American cars since 1995 and have been happy. To a certain extent it's an image thing.

I'm as sick of the bailouts as anybody else, and maybe it is time to draw the line. But it's going to mean hardship for quite a while. Not just for people working for GM and Ford and Chrysler, but for everybody, including you.

I think we've been doing that for quite some time, where have you been. We even had an election and the Republicans.....lost. Seems most Americans agree, the economic plight of the US is primarily their fault.

funny you should mention this

I was just preparing a piece that talked about republicans duty to come out of the woods and it starts with the fact that regardless of our opposition, it is a national historical occasion, but not one that merits a national holiday

in my reading I am seeing that the founders really started to have a problem with what they wrote about all men are created equal as they kept adding slaves to thier property......

and I mean by that is that much like them on that issue, if you are REALLY one with american values, then a black man in the white house shows the world that we DO have those values.

OUR PROBLEM all along is that THIS IS THE WRONG BLACK MAN

HAVE to put this somewhere and time is running out quickly......STOP CLAPPING ABOUT THAT

houston chronicle released info about contributions to campaign

206 million from texas and this info all comes from them.....will shorten it due to time

republican donors

houston home builder
san antonio businessman
midland oilman
texans owner
T BOONE

and democrat donors

dallass lawyer
dan antonio lawyer
houston lawyer
beaumont lawyer

I am not making this up.........notice anything particular about ALL OF THE democrat donors listed........

friggin bottom feeders...........LOL

and lady on georgies show yesterday said that obama should throw out the blockade and normalize relations with cuba

THATS A GREAT IDEA AND I hope it does it the first week

what better way to get florida BACK AS A RED STATE than to tell them that thier relatives who were killed or still in prison DONT MATTER anymore

Another hilarious video from the GYWO crew, playing on the hyperbolic fears of whitey.

Almost as funny as reading the fearful comments of BLT and co.

You fuckers are sad. America was able to wake up for a moment and do the right thing in the election, and you guys want to run screaming right back into the stranglehold of BushCo tyranny.

It's like a political Stockholm Syndrome, I guess.

Or you're just idiots.

just like my date last weekend............LOL

#26 | Posted by bushlovertwo

Ah, Bushblowertoo-sooo naive,yet-sooo stupid.

Beating off in your Mom's garden Shed with a picture of Cindy McLoser does NOT count as a date.

"what better way to get florida BACK AS A RED STATE than to tell them that thier relatives who were killed or still in prison DONT MATTER anymore"

Or tell them that they can freely visit their relatives whenever they choose, that they can help their relatives with money, medicines etc., and more importantly that the Cuban people still in Cuba will be exposed to Americans freely traveling to their island and asking them...why aren't you free to do the same. If you want the Castro regime to fall the fastest way to bring it about is to end the embargo. Stupidest policy ever!

What's amazing is the dichotomy of borrowing, trading, and traveling to China, but refusing to change gears vis a vis Cuba. Makes no sense.

I wonder how long it will be before the liberal Democrats want to replace "In God We Trust" with "In Obama We Trust" on American currency.

Obama is bigger than Jesus in the hearts, minds and soul(less)s of Democrats.

One needs only to test the wind to SEE the direction that the obamination will take this country.
The silent majority is now voting their resistance to this immature, incompetent clown with their purchaces of firearms and ammo. We now enter the Dark Ages of America.

Welcome to the banana republic of the obamanation.

You lefties bought the lie, you will now have to pay for it.

GOD bless America! Jesus is my Messiah!

I really have to admit, these course interactions are wildly entertaining. This Web Site is like a cross between a chat room and a bar fight. If you post a comment, you're very likely to get smashed across the back with a chair or over the head with a beer bottle.

Everyone here comes for the action, like fans of a dogfight or Ultimate Fighting Champion. It's entirely inaccurate to call allot of these things "Blogs". Although the first 10 or 20 posts have a Blog-like feel, allot of them usually regress into "I know you are but, what am I?" This Web Site is really not about the issues or even discussion of the issues. It's about venting hate, promoting divisiveness and sharpening foul language arguing techniques.

I view the Webmaster as a referee at a hockey game who throws the puck down for a face-off and the readers are the fans who come to see the players throw their gloves off. I honestly believe that the Webmaster picks story topics that will provoke the Hatfield's and the McCoy's to keep up the feuding.

Truth be told, the Webmaster's primary objective is to get as many hits on the Web Site as possible in order to sell more advertisements, not to forward one political philosophy over another or provide the public with a place to comment on the news of the day. None of us come here to attempt a persuasive or intelligent commentary. It's merely a cyber fight club.

Having said that, it is pretty fun watching the political sports fans pull blindly for their team, eh?

Who's going to save the USPS. The Postal Service is considering some 40,000 layoffs. Can they get a bailout in the form of a raise in rates. Or will that result in a decline in traffic that will not be offset by increased charges.

It does not augur well.

I'll bet that Obama ages quickly.

In addition to being the first African American president, Obama disciples can also celebrate the nation's first openly gay president. Michelle Obama can't be a woman.
