Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Will Hillary Clinton run again for President? Make a bid for Senate majority leader? Go home to New York and run for governor? Does she covet a job in Barack Obama's Cabinet or maybe an appointment to the Supreme Court? No, no, no and no. "I'm interested in standing on the South Lawn of the White House and seeing President Obama signing into law quality, affordable health care for everybody, and voting in a big majority for clean, renewable energy and smarter economic policies," she said.

No.

In a few short days Obama has acted more intelligent and Presidential than the Shrub EVER did.

We're already hearing Rush publically planning ways to sabotage Obama. Republicans have done as much to Clinton for the shallowist partisan reasons and, unlike Pelosi and Reid, will try again.

Obama's youth is a huge obstacle for Hillary. But if the impending problems created for the rich with dishonest economic policies blow up in Obama's face, Hillary will be back.

No news here, just post-election rehash. Hillary already answered this question with a resounding "no" shortly after she lost the primary.

It's a shame Hillary isn't younger. She proved in the primary that she's one hell of a politician, but she'll be 69 when the next spot opens up for a Democrat to run for president in 2016.

I'd like to see her on the Supreme Court, but she'd probably be an effective Senate Majority Leader.

There is a certain tragedy in that Hillary tied her star to Bill and stayed there. Too long. She can be a fine Senator if she remains so and doesn't want more, or can control herself. She can't control Bill - why not ditch him?

I'd like to see her on the Supreme Court

----

I shudder at that thought. If she was, she would have been in all 3 parts of the government. That's a little too much and would seem to offset the checks and balances we have in the government.

When obams falls on his ass like carter did, she can run in 4 years.

Incumbent presidents don't get serious challengers in their re-election bids. There's no way Hillary Clinton or any other credible Democrat will oppose Barack Obama in four years, and if his popularity is high enough, Republicans will probably decide to run in a wide-open 2016 instead of being the Bob Dole of 2012.

We always knew that because of age this would be Hil's last chance, which is why I advocated Hil first, then Obama as Pres so that we could get 16 years instead of 8.

But Obama proved himself during the election just as Hil proved herself to Americans during the primary.

I can't blame her for not wanting to herd cats in the Senate or wear a black-robed pantsuit.

I think she will be invaluable to Obama in the Senate, perhaps even working across the aisle with John McCain to get legislation for Obama's agenda passed.

Perhaps she will succeed Ted Kennedy and become the Lioness of the Senate.

I am very pleased with Obama as President, and I have confidence he will be re-elected in 2012.

However, I thought it would be best for the dems if Clinton were President with Obama as VP, because after 8 years of Obama, who do the dems have to offer? If it were Clinton as President now, she would have carried the dems through 2016, then Obama could have carried us through 2024.

Clinton has the advantage of knowing a lot of contacts and would be able to get through legislation easier than Obama, and Obama would have 8 more years of experience, and probably be an even better President than he will be now.

Clinton and Obama had very similar platforms, so they would have been in agreement through all of Clintons years.

The best for dems and the country would have been Clinton first, then Obama. The polls all showed Clinton far ahead of Obama, and she won more EVs in the states she won as opposed to the states Obama won. If not for the flawed dem primary, it would have been 8 years of Clinton then 8 years of Obama. Now, after 8 years of Obama, the dems will be looking.

How do I know Obama will go 8 years? How do I know it would be Clinton for 8 years then Obama for 8 years? Because they both have identical plans that are good for America--better than anything Americans have seen in the last 50 years. Obama is even now reviewing all of Bushs executive orders---he can issue new ones---change is on the way.

I agree with Corky and Buffalo Bob - best-case scenario would have been Clinton first for eight years, then Obama. It will take sixteen years to undo the Bush mess and restore some semblance of prosperity, consumer protection, equal protection under the law, and respect for the Constitution.

I don't think Senator Clinton will be too old in '16, though. Women tend to take the aging process a bit better than men. If not Clinton, the Democrats need to begin working now to find someone who's a good candidate to ensure their sucession, instead of putting all their eggs in one bastard the way the Rethugs did. They had eight long years to find a rising star and the best they could come up with was McThusaleh. How stupid was that?

Oh, and P.S.:

Hillary for Attorney General!

I am very pleased with Obama as President, and I have confidence he will be re-elected in 2012.

He has done one-hell-of a job buf.

Unlikely? Like: "You won't have Nixon to kick around any more"?

We're already hearing Rush publically planning ways to sabotage Obama

I won't pray for it, but if Rush has a stroke that renders him speechless I won't cry either. What an unAmerican moron.

if obama lives up to his hype... an few do... and governs as a moderate, he could be around for eight years. no one will elect an old woman to be prez.
and rcade will be happy as o will send her to the supreme court where she will spend the rest of her public life.

all the best.

Sense

Where do you see Obama saying he is a moderate? He promised change. Not moderation. This country needs more than moderation right now.

I am very pleased with Obama as President...

Have your little alien friends sent you through a time warp or into another dimension or something? I ask, because back here on Earth, there has not yet been a guy named Obama as president.

"Have your little alien friends sent you through a time warp or into another dimension or something? I ask, because back here on Earth, there has not yet been a guy named Obama as president."

Yawn. The literal mind of a child. Obviously Obama hasn't been sworn in as President. Duh.

Obviously Obama hasn't been sworn in as President

My point exactly.

"My point exactly."

And BuffaloBob knows that as well, dummy, and only someone obsessed with him would try to make an issue of this.

-because back here on Earth, there has not yet been a guy named Obama as president.

A mere technically, I assure you. Prepare for at least a modicum of intellect and competence, something that did not exist with the Bushites you preferred.

And BuffaloBob knows that as well, dummy, and only someone obsessed with him would try to make an issue of this.

???

Then I guess you should've just ignored it. Hope this helps

Goatman has been reduced to clinging lamely to technicalities involving the inauguration date. I get the feeling his whole world imploded on election day.

"Then I guess you should've just ignored it."

You're the one that should've ignored it, rather than behaving like an ass.

not exist with the Bushites you preferred.

???

I preferred Bushites? Where did you come up with that. I've declared many times on this forum that I did not like him as president.

Do you ever get anything right, corky?

I bet she'll run again.

You're the one that should've ignored it,

Translation:

"neener neener, neener"

I get the feeling his whole world imploded on election day.

Actually, my world got much better that week. We got our 3rd across the board raise (this one was 9%) this year. Thanks for the thoughts, though, M8.

Goatman-
I've had this same trouble before. When you post something, the very periods of your sentences are Republican campaign buttons. I've just assumed that you voted for Bush and McCain.

"Goatman has been reduced to clinging lamely to technicalities involving the inauguration date. I get the feeling his whole world imploded on election day."

Goatman, the self-described "bleeding heart liberal," is as literal as a 5 year old, when it comes to bashing "bleeding heart liberals."

Goatman I swear there are some on here that hope to hear that bad things have come unto you.

When you post something, the very periods of your sentences are Republican campaign buttons.

???

"I preferred Bushites? Where did you come up with that. "

Gee, I don't know. Your posts???

Goatman, the self-described "bleeding heart liberal,"

???

I've never described myself as a bleeding heart liberal. Why do you have to resort to lies, nullbrain? That's pathetic.

I don't wish any bad thing on Goatman. I wish him many days and much joy.

Goatman I swear there are some on here that hope to hear that bad things have come unto you.

I find it humorous how some can get so worked up over an anonymous blogger. I think it was M8 who actually said he hated me. How someone can be so demented and wrapped up in a blog as to hate another poster is surely the sign of an ill mind. I don't hate or even dislike anyone here. But I it's fun to sit on the outside of the cage and watch and taunt them.

"I've never described myself as a bleeding heart liberal. Why do you have to resort to lies, nullbrain? That's pathetic."

Liar. You have repeatedly stated that your coworkers refer to you as a "bleeding heart liberal," in order to fool people into thinking you're not the rightwing hack you are.

Gee, I don't know. Your posts???

OK, null. Show me one -- just one -- where I said I like Bush. While you are at it show me one where I described myself as a bleeding heart liberal as you stated upthread.

While you are searching for that post, you will run over several where I said I disliked Bush as president. If you have any balls at all, you'll post that one instead, admit you are a liar, and ask for forgiveness for being such a fool

Whatcha gonna do, nulliliarian

I wish him many days and much joy.

As I wish the rest of the world. The more happy people there are on this planet, the better off we are all.

Liar. You have repeatedly stated that your coworkers refer to you as a "bleeding heart liberal

???

Are you really that confused, nullbrain. Yes, my co-workers have described me as a bleeding heart liberal. I have stated that many times. However, you said

Goatman, the self-described "bleeding heart liberal,...

#32 | Posted by nullifidian at 2008-11-09 09:16 PM

"self described" means I described myself as that. I am not my co-workers.

Again, are you really that confused? Now, will you admit you are a liar or not?

Probably not. You have no integrity whatsoever

"where I said I like Bush. "

Bla bla bla. Who gives a fuck whether you "like Bush" or not? What does that prove? The fact remains that the content of your posts are discerned by everybody on Drudge as rightwing talking points. Deal with it.

You don't want to be considered a rightwinger? Fine. Stop talking like one.

Who gives a fuck whether you "like Bush" or not? What does that prove?

Clearly it proves you are a liar. LOL Fuck, you are too easy, nullbrain. Like da bOoB, you forget that we can reference posts from a few minutes ago:

"I preferred Bushites? Where did you come up with that. "

Gee, I don't know. Your posts???

#35 | Posted by nullifidian at 2008-11-09 09:17 PM

"Yes, my co-workers have described me as a bleeding heart liberal."

Yes, you have repeated that many times, as supposed "proof" that you're a "bleeding heart liberal".

And then you turn around and claim that you've have never described yourself as a "bleeding heart liberal".

Well, then why continue to post your allegations of what your alleged coworkers allegedly say about you?

Do you enjoy twisting yourself in rhetorical knots?

You don't want to be considered a rightwinger?

I honestly don't give a fuck what you consider me. But that won't keep me from correcting you when you are wrong and pointing out when you lie.

BTW, where is that post where I described myself as a bleeding heart liberal? Do you have the integrity to admit you lied?

Still no, I see. What a surprise. Even through cyberspace, proximity to lying scum makes me feel dirty.

Later, liar. If you want to apologize for you blatant lies, I'll accept you apology. 'Till then, I think I'll go up to the rig floor and hang with some people with integrity. Though the place is covered with drilling mud and grease, I will feel a lot cleaner than exchanging retorts with a liar.

Later

Do you enjoy twisting yourself in rhetorical knots?

Turning a third person statement into a first person is far from a rhetorical knot. What an idiot and a ham-handed attempt at justifying your lie.

Later, nullintegrity

The facts are these, dummy:

You claim your coworkers call you a "bleeding heart liberal"

You claim that you vote democratic 80 percent of the time.

Your posts on the Drudge Retort could've been written by Rush Limbaugh.

You are viewed as a rightwinger by Drudgies.

Those are some serious contradictions. But just keep doing what you're doing, phony. Nobody really cares. Maybe you ought to do what you once promised to do in a drama queen user blog--leave.

You don't want to be considered a rightwinger? Fine. Stop talking like one.

#43 | Posted by nullifidian at 2008-11-09 09:29 PM

Let's see if this "rhetorical knot" works both ways.

I am called a bleeding heart liberal by someone, so in your eyes, that means I am self-described one.

You were called a simpleton yesterday. Therefore you are a self-described simpleton.

Do I have this right? Or is your rhetorical knot a one way thing. I suspect it is one way as you have demonstrated over and over again your adherance to double standards.

You self-described simpleton. LOL What's worse and even sleazier is that you are a liar.

Those are some serious contradictions.

???

How so? Most of my democratic voting is done at the local and state levels. I guess you haven't noticed, but school board elections and city council races in San Antonio don't get discussed much.

There is more to the world than two people running for president. If you weren't such a fool and took that into context when I made my accurate statement of my voting record you would not look so idiotic

You are viewed as a rightwinger by Drudgies.

BFD. I guess they are as ignorant and short-sighted as you. I can't help that.

Can anyone out there figure out Goatman logic?:

I'm not a bleeding heart liberal, but my coworkers think I am, so therefore I am, or am not, depending on my mood, or who I am arguing with, or if I am defending myself against charges that I'm a rightwinger, or not, or whatever.

Maybe you ought to do what you once promised to do in a drama queen user blog--leave.

You'd like that wouldn't you? If you can't best your adversaries, just hope they'll go away. LOL

Nope, I'm going to stick around. I love tormenting you. I don't know why I find it so humorous that a blogger can get under your skin so, but I do. LOL

Looks to me like I'm the one getting under your skin, phony/conservative/bleeding heart liberal/ whatever your identity is today or tomorrow.

Doesn't bother me at all. I just point out phonies when I see them.

Mr. Ham-hand strikes again:

If you remember (scroll up in case you don't) the part I put in bold above is your logic being repeated. (see post 45) The rest of the quote above was invented by you and has absolutely nothing to do with "goatman logic" as you put it.

What, more lies to try to cover up your past ones? You really are grasping at straws trying to justify your falsehoods, aren't you? I don't think I've seen anything this pathetic in a long, long time. Most people would've quietly slipped away in hopes that their prevaricating ways would be forgotten. But not nullbrain! He has to fabricate more lies in a manner that suggests waving a red flag and shouting out to the world, "LOOK AT ME! I AM AN UNABASHED AND UNASHAMED LIAR!"

Honestly, all sarcasm aside -- it's pathetic, null. Really, really pathetic. Is it possible you can produce a post where you don't have to put words into my mouth or lie about me?

Looks to me like I'm the one getting under your skin

LOL

(translation: "I'm rubber, your glue . . .")

I just point out phonies when I see them.

Too bad you can't produce any evidence of it eh, liar?

Still waiting for the post to support your claim that I am a self-described liberal, nulliar

nullbrain, better go back to your endless repitions of "flag: looooooser". That's more your speed. You're sinking fast, dude.

BTW, still waiting to see one single post to support your claim that I am a self described bleeding heart liberal or one that says I support Bush as you implied upthread.

Just one to support either claim will do.

I'm waiting, nulliar

Yawn. You're boring everybody, as usual.

You should go find Bob to debate, Goatman. Nobody else is interested in wasting their time.

Yawn. You're boring everybody, as usual.

You're right. Wish I could put on the pitiful lie to cover a lie to cover a lie show you put on. It's quite amusing to watch the lengths the demented go to avoid admitting they are a pathological liar.

It's also amusing to watch someone actually believe they are fooling their readers by avoiding the admission of their guilt and lack of integrity.

Again, sorry I can't put on such good show.

Will you flounder some more for us again, nulliar?

BTW, still waiting to see one single post to support your claim that I am a self described bleeding heart liberal or one that says I support Bush as you implied upthread.

Just one.

LOL

I've wasted far too much time on you tonight. I feel bad about frittering away my hours away arguing with a phony. Oh well. Good night.

Nobody else is interested in wasting their time.

???

Obviously you are.

Yet more lies. Unbelievable. You can't make this shit up, folks.

"Only the nully
know the lies that can be told
Only the nully
could be so stupidly bold"

hee hee hee

These Blogs are great! Somewhere near the top, it was a discussion about Hillary Clinton. Then, as is the case with most of this website, it devolved into the standard Hatfield's vs McCoy's blather.

Too funny.

Nobody else is interested in wasting their time.

I've wasted far too much time on you tonight.

#62 | Posted by nullifidian at 2008-11-09 10:32 PM

You can't make this stuff up, folks!

I feel bad about frittering away my hours away

Too bad you don't feel any remorse about lying. It really must suck being so void of integrity, doesn't it?

Still waiting for that post to prove to us you are not a liar, nullintegrity

You can have the last word, Goatman. You always do. I'm not interested in one of those moronic Goatman-Bob debates.

You can have the last word, Goatman.

OK

Open a window. Get some fresh air. This thread started out contemplating whether Hillary would run again; then quickly turned to a debate on how great a president Obama is...months before the man even takes office. And just as quickly devolved into the typical villification of opposing posters. Shouldn't we wait at least a little while before proclaiming Obama the best president ever? Talk about sheep...

She will run. Obama will be a disaster. Times are too tough and he made too many unrealistic promises. There are people who voted for him who said that Obama will pay for their gas and mortage.

Also remember that Obama himself said in 2004 that he would not run for president in 2008 because he was UNQUALIFIED. It's on video.
