Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Right-wing radio and talk show host Glenn Beck said this week that many conservatives told him they supported McCain in hopes he would die in office. "If I heard once, I heard 1,000 times," Beck said.

I accurately described what I thought was motivating the crowds of angry and ignorant Palin worshipers! And I was right!

Well, DUH!

Hey, they're Christians, dying is the best thing that can happen to you. Going home to meet your maker and such. They were just wishing the best for McCain.

Can we make a wish and hope Beck implodes? Can we, huh, can we, oh, golly gosh!

Beck is just like the rest of them. Scared to death no one will listen to them anymore.

Being in the opposition is better for angry cranks like Beck and Rush Limbaugh. I expect we'll see right-wing media and blogs grow under an Obama administration (and might even, sob, see left-wingers decline).

Don't worry Rogers, I've got yer back.

Funny, I was wishing the same about Glen Beck.

"Being in the opposition is better for angry cranks..."

Quite right. Rush Limbaugh's routines the past several days have been only limited by his imagination. The man doesn't need to keep up on current events, he makes them up.

"Hey, they're Christians...."

I was hoping some of this nonsense would go away. It wasn't the atheists and agnostics that gave Obama states like Indiana.

You want to govern, make up your mind to get along. These people gave your candidate their vote; try to give something back.

That's the base's plan: elect McCain, and hope he croaks.

Beck is a one-man-band.

He looks and acts like he has Tourette's Syndrome. Fanatical jerk.

And every five minutes he has to remind everyone that he's a recovering alcoholic.

If that's recovery, I'll never stop drinking.

figures that the left jumps on beck for repeating what other people tell him

and this is certainly not mainstream thinking so if you believe that ALL conservatives thought this then its okay for me to think that you are ALL liberal fucks..
you cant have it both ways anymore.....havent you been listening??????

and I will be honest....I wanted him to get into the white house and then we would try and stop about half of the things that he wanted to do.

SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH dont tell anyone I said that

"and I will be honest....I wanted him to get into the white house "
-BL2

Will you be handing out waders or shovels?

BECK is on his way to Fox, he already has the Networks talking points down:

SOME PEOPLE SAY!!!!
WE HAVE HEAD FROM!!!!!!
OTHERS HAVE REPORTED!!!!

Listen to any show on Fox an go through one show with out anyone of these terms being used, you are probably on the wrong Channel.....Reporting an un-biased questions are not strong points for Fox News!!!! Mr. Beck will be right at home.......

"Right-wing radio and talk show host Glenn Beck said this week that many conservatives told him they supported McCain in hopes he would die in office."

I said the same thing 2 months ago and Jeffj accused me of being paranoid, promoting a conspiracy theory, etc.

The man doesn't need to keep up on current events, he makes them up.

I noticed that too. Obama won on Tuesday night, by Wednesday Rush was already blaming the entire state of the world on the President-Elect.

Too funny!

I think the BenFranklin above has a point, right now these guys are struggling for relevance.

I said the same thing 2 months ago and Jeffj accused me of being paranoid, promoting a conspiracy theory, etc.

Jeff hasn't been himself for a few months. Apparently it's difficult to maintain the fair & balanced appearance of being the self appointed "drudge nanny", when you're losing.

"figures that the left jumps on beck for repeating what other people tell him"

Who is jumpin' on beck for "repeating what other people tell him"?

And if we were, that's what happens to becks kind who choose to make thier money by sayin' cruel and mean shit just to shock folks into listinin' ----- to his sponsers!

And again you provide another example of how the deadenders LOVE the cheap MSM while saying otherwise!

Will you be handing out waders or shovels?

ah you are so funny

but LOOKS Arent everything.

ba dump dump....I gotta million ofem.........

and lets define the term many..........that could be as few as a handfull of people with this demented idea..........

again I say most of you are jumping on beck because he retold what he had heard........doesnt mean he believes it and without even reading the whole story I bet that he says something about how bad that idea is............

Having to work with a majority of conservative co-workers, the thinking Beck is conveying is not far off the mark. Most of my co-workers were lukewarm in their support of Senator McCain. Believing him to be too far to the left on social issues. Governor Palin, with her positions on abortion, evolution and other issues fit more closely to their views. At least one of them suggested that that a Palin presidency would be a positive outcome. Beck is a nut. Nonetheless the sentiment he relays was in the mix among those with strongly held, socialy conservative beliefs.

"I'm going to vote for John McCain and, you know, I mean, he's old. Maybe we get Sarah Palin in the first term." You know what I mean?

Ironically, probably the same reason 10 million people voted AGAINST McLost/Appalin

McLost/Appalin

okay.........STILL not quite there on being creative OR funny but you get some points for trying.................

"BECK is on his way to Fox, he already has the Networks talking points down:"

Yeah, and Karl Rove will be replaced by Ted Nugent on Fix. Can't wait for the premier of Beck & Nugent (replacing Hannity & Colmes)......

Ted Nugent is a draft dodging pussy.

BLT-how about I call them the PRL (Pathetic Republican Losers)until January?

McC's death in office would imply Free World Leadership passing to Ms. Sarah. Praying for THAT surely merits institutionalization, or even worse, accompanying Bush to Paraguay or Crawford. herm

for the past 8 years the really dumb have flocked to the republican party. It has become the party of ignorance and Palin, being ignorant, will be a fine leader. They can all shout "I didn't come from no monkey" in unison, how nice to be irrellavent

side note: marketing to the dumb has seen 500% increases in gun sales.

Being in the opposition is better for angry cranks like Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

Obama because President and no one had to die.

*became

death and republican policies. the real america

I used to watch Beck on Headline News, - hoping he would die.

60% of Republicans want Palin to run in 2012. 100% of Democrats do.

Compassionate conservatism at work.

Compassionate - emphasis on 'ass'

what an idiot

but LOOKS Arent everything.
