Barack Obama emerged victorious in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race, winning 15 of 21 votes cast just after midnight in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire. It was the first time since 1968 that the village leaned Democratic in an election.

As Dixville goes so goes the nation. The networks will be calling this early.

The only time they ever chose a Democrat before he lost! Humphrey 1968.

GOBAMA08.................Presi
dent-Elect on November 5th

I wound up listening to Hannity for a few minutes yesterday afternoon becaue I believe in knowing the enemy (and yes,Hanity is the enemy of freedom and justice).

I found it amusing, and quite heart-warming to hear him talking about preparations for "conservatism in exile" and a "conservative underground".

Does Dixville Notch qualify as a pro-america part of the country, or are they anti-american up there? Damnit, couldn't you guys have picked someone who isn't scared shitless of reporters?

Has NBC called the election for Obama based on this news?

Fox called it for McCain at 5:30 this morning and then at 5:52 they said it was undecided. They then changed it to Obama at 6:00. At 6:11 they said it was again undecided. Just this minute, 6:18, they just said Bush won. WTF?!?

I demand a recount! ;-)

"Does Dixville Notch qualify as a pro-america part of the country, or are they anti-american up there?"

They're Communists up there in that neck of the woodsy woods.
Six Leninsts, five Stalinsts, four Maosists, three Trotskites, a Sendero Luminoso cadre, and a single practitioner of Santeria.
Oh, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I heard this too rev, but what bothered me about this proclamation is that its apparent that Hannity intends to aggravate and dig at Americas wounds even before Obama has a chance to govern (he said he would start his insurgency on Wednesday, and that's two months BEFORE Obama is even sworn in).

So it's obvious that no matter what, hannity is going to continue his fatwa against a president that hasn't even taken the reigns simply because he has a D after his name..

Talk about irrational hate! Hate apparently outweighs hannitys love of country!

but what bothered me about this proclamation is that its apparent that Hannity intends to aggravate and dig at Americas wounds even before Obama has a chance to govern

quite predictable hannity is.

that is sad. He doesn't have to proclaim his intent to rail against obama every day because everybody should know he will do it anyway.

why announce it?

Obviously I am a conservative but I have never liked hannity. He is such a juvenile.

"(Hannity) is such a juvenile."

He seems to hit on all the koolaid cylinders: we found WMDs in Iraq, it's okay to out a spy, tax cuts increase revenue, three lies still on the table from the DOJ is okay, deficits don't matter...all that shit. I know it shouldn't surprise me, but I'm stunned every time he denounces Obama cavorting with terrorists while appearing with Ollie North.

I don't disagree with your assertion. He's a fifteen year old with a microphone!
However, since he is the second most listened too "conservative" on the radio, and that many here proclaimed his popularity proof he is in synch with their beliefs ----- what does that ultimately say to you about the cognitive abilities of the "base"?
I'm not flaming mind you --- just curious on how you reconcile this with any self comfort?.

I don't know who you are referring to. I have never said anything like that about Hannity. Take it up with them.

Self Comfort? what do you think I am concerned about? I could care less about Hannity or Limbaugh or Savage or any other pundit out there.

You are obsessed with those guys and you need some platform to shout from about how much you can't stand people in this country.

that is your problem bozo, not mine.
