Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

In a campaign appearance Sunday, Sarah Palin made the false claim that the San Francisco Chronicle withheld audio of a Barack Obama interview from the public. The Jan. 17 interview with the paper's editorial board, where Obama discussed coal technology, has been online in its entirety since it took place.

Too funny...a not so clever ploy... argue that she suggested the vid was with held...but ignore what BHO actually said on the vid.
Do you suppose those voters in coal states will worry about the implication or the fact of what was said on the vid?

McCain is trying to bankrupt the coal industry. This should go over well in Penn, Ohio, W.Virginia etc.

Palin is right less often than a stopped clock.

Remind me again.....which Palin is it that has Down Syndrome?

How nefarious! They hid it in plain sight!

I think I love this woman for the simple fact that she is taking the wheels off the bullshit express every time she opens that ignorant gob of hers.

Most voters will believe whatever suits their ideology, just like they always do.

You can't really blame someone who doesn't read any newspapers for not knowing what the contain.

The truth has as much a chance as a three legged moose in Alaska when it comes to Palin.

I am embarrassed for her. I'm also embarrassed for the good people that got hood-winked by this piece of fluffy nothingness.

I'm embarrassed that a man that used to be sorta honorable, McCain, was sucked into this situation.

I'm embarrased that the repubs have to sell this turd as if it were a precious jewel.

Wink!

How about some accurate reporting on Palin and her first Dude husband trying to incite the citizens of Alaska to seceed from the United States of America?

Doesn't the correct "Websters" word definition for them qualify them as ...FUCKING TRAITORS?

Can you smell the desperation?

They are banking on the fact that none of the McCain supporters actually know how to navigate the Tubes of the Internet to listen to the audio or are just too plain lazy to look it up themselves in these final hours.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWww
wwwnnnnnnnnnnn.

Palin took Obama's statement out of context.

McCain supported exactly the same position.

Notice how nice the DEMS were to not make a big deal out of the Palin's Alaskan Independence Party allegiances?

McCain's second largest error, just below turning himself into a right wing kook, was his selection of Palin.

Palin Falsely Accuses Paper of Hiding Obama Audio

And Obama just added another % point to his lead.

Keep talking Sugar Cakes. You'll be back to folding laundry in no time!

Pulin' Palin strikes (out) again!

This woman is going to end up in an institution. She wants public attention so bad, and after tomorrow, it may be a little hard for her to come by. I don't think her titanic ego is going to withstand the disconnect between her aspirations and her achievement potential.

The GOP's posterchild of muckracking and bringing change to DC.

Totally amateurish.

Any debate team club member in most city colleges would rip this POS to shreds.

Losers.

For the last Month since the Republican Convention the McCain Campaign have been reaching for straws in the manner in which they decided to fight for the Presidency. The low road was the route they decided on, every day they attacked the Obama campaign for reasons no one will understand, after they lose the Election there will be ample time to find the person to blame for this failed strategy.
McCain an Palin will both be sent to the crap heap of HISTORY!!!!!

And this error is different from the 57 states comment because? Oh yeah, because it came from a republican, I forgot.

Attack vs. mispeaking dumbass. If you're accusing someone of something, make sure you are at least close to reality.

Oh that's right. Obama was trying to mislead people and make them think that there are 57 States so that he could win an election.........

Could you BE more of a pathetic piece of shit? I mean really. Look at yourself.

SO Obama doesn't want the coal industry with their jobs and higher heating bills to go bankrupt?

Another Obama position against business.

It wasn't exactly hidden, per se. More like misplaced. Sort of like Hillary's missing papers that showed up all of a sudden. It was just not in the usual place. Kind of hidden, kind of not.

Here, you can go look for it yourself. Not very easy to notice but there just the same.

MURPHY

They took Obama's comments out of context.

BTW, McCain took exactly the same position.

McCain plan would be the kiss of death for the coal industry.

SO Obama doesn't want the coal industry with their jobs and higher heating bills to go bankrupt?

Seriously, have you EVER tried to educate yourself on something prior to looking like a total fool?

Give it a rip. Go READ UP ON IT and get back to us.

(I am just trying to help)

Yea, because the two are so similar. It's amazing that even with something that is so blatantly obvious as this you still can't make an informed statement. If you're going to write the dumbest deflection you can come up with at least make it entertaining for the rest of us. Maybe something along the lines of "Obama wants to socialize the ice cream truck industry!" or "Obama says he wants to appoint ex-Backstreet Boy to cabinet level position". Put some creativity in there. I know it's hard using more than 2 brain cells, but trust me, everyone here will appreciate your commentary so much more.

Pardon, I did not read the article - thought she was mistakingly talking about the video of the dinner obama attended

Retract my original post - but thanks for caring.

The SF Chronicle states the article has been available online since the interview in January.

In this link it's shown McCain and Obama both took the same positions, with video at the bottom of the page of Ohio Sen. Voinivich basically accusing McCain of the same false charges which McCain disputes in the video:

wonkroom.thinkprogress.org

I understand the desperation of the right, but it's been one false attack after another. So much for the "Straight Talk Express".

Notice Obama never once used the Palin's membership in the secessionist Alaskan Independence Party? Todd was a card carrying member til his wife got into politics.

She's such a dumbass.

"She's such a dumbass."

B-b-b-but she's "impressive," her selection was "brilliant," a "homerun".

Sincerely,
The Drudge Right

That is because he has one thing that McCain and Palin don't and that is class.

Kinda hard to keep all the Obama cover-ups straight. If there was a headline for every time Obama or Joe the Biden made a misstatement, we would be inundated with them. But somehow, those mistakes never seem to make the headlines. Hmmm.

Wonder how long it will take the MSM to report that Palin was exonerated for "Troopergate". Care to guess the ratio of headlines accusing vs. exonerating? Journalism is dead.

"Kinda hard to keep all the Obama cover-ups straight."

It's much, much harder to keep all those republican smear stories about Obama straight.

One more day folks, one more day.

It will improve in that we can finally see the end of this insanity and the return to a reasoned Leadership.

I am sure you wish to "stay the course" but it is time for a real change.

welcome to it!

I am sure you wish to "stay the course" but it is time for a real change.

stay sure of it. It is consistent with everything else you are sure of.

LOL

Palin apparently doesn't know that sources are confidenctial and can require the paper to withold the information from being shown if the paper made a deal for it. Isnt she suppose to be a Jouralism major. Oh thats right she went through 5 schools getting her degree and missed the part regarding a free press.

"How can anyone suggest that we hid an interview that we did, immediately put up on the Web - and advertised to our readers?" said the Chronicle's editorial page editor, John Diaz.

Because Palin is a tard.

wink, wink

"Palin falsely accuses SF RAG of hiding Obama audio".

Then why haven't we heard it? Are they with holding this for their beloved canidate?

"his socialistic healthcare coverage will pay to have your brain removed."

Then you must be REALLY pissed that you paid out of pocket for yours.

Ozzie PWNED by Sanantoniorogue.

Keep trying, Ozzie! Maybe if you use more profanity and write "flopears" in caps a lot more, then that might get you more attention from the "time out" corner.

Meanwhile, repeat after me:

"President Obama."
