"When I voted yesterday electronically, the first vote that you vote for on the ballot is the presidential candidate. It was my first time doing electronic, so I didn't mark the X strong enough, or I held down too long. Because then when I went back to check it, it had not recorded my presidential vote," she said.

So does that mean that Harpo voted?

No, Gummo, it doesn't.

The machine was created by a Republican conspirator to steal elections. To counteract ACORN.

Maybe Americans that give a shit about fair and just elections.

Larry

oh, she voted,
one would think that she never voted before (probably)
acting like the 2 yr old billionaire that she is,
what will she say to the 1 in 5 black children being murdered by abortion and the rise in numbers if O wins the election.

Sadly, they think they are doing their race a favor, when their race is practically extinct, who will they blame then? Bush/Palin/Cheney/
McCain.....or the right wingers who want to see these tragedies brought to an end

Yes, because they are being forced to have these abortions. When their only choice is to have the baby or go to jail then they'll be grateful.

I will have to live with whomever is the legitimate winner of the 2008 election.
I can accept an honest vote count but I refuse to stand for being cheated. Both the Diebold and the ES&S e-voting machine companies are owned by Republicans. We just had an example of how they flipped the votes last week in West Virginia (showing the voting machines switching from Obama to McCain in three separate instances).

I just saw a computer geek on tv an hour ago show how easy it is to change the chip in an e-voting machine to switch the winners.

Did you know that ES&S e-voting machine company was 35% owned by Republican Senator Chuck Hagel and that he failed to report his ownership in the company as he was suppose to do by law? Did you know that when Hagel won his race for Senator all the votes were counted using his own company's e-voting machines?

If McCain ends up winning states where all the polls showed he didn't stand a chance of winning but the "paperless trail" e-voting machines still declared him the winner, you are going to have riots in this country.

Why the damn Democrats are still allowing these e-voting machines to still be used without any sort of paper trail or receipt is beyond me. Maybe this Democrat Congress is too stupid and does deserve to lose since they had eight years to get these flaky e-voting machines fixed and knew about these e-voting problems since 2000.

If you'd like a better idea of the extent of Republican voting fraud go to BlackBoxVoting.org

If your electronic ballot gives you any problems tell the polling people and ask for a new ballot.

If Americans hadn't been dumb down by TV, fluoride, "legal" drugs, socialist public schooling, and the sheeple mentality of self policing. They would out right reject these fucked up voting machines.
But Americans don't really want freedom. They want to continue living in a state of denial, and mental laziness. And pass their personal power on to a daddy figure.
No that a new cult hero (Obama) has appeared on the scene of the cult of personality, the sheeple have found a new surrogate to pass their power to and negate personal responsibility.
Go back to sleep sheeple. It will all be over soon.

Now that a new cult hero....

Golly Chris I didn't know you were the inspiration for the Dale Gribble character on King Of The Hill.

I'm Oprah! Look at me!

there it is...& this needs to be public knowledge in every which way in the coming years!

Hey I thought the voting machines were the responsibility of each States Government and NOT the Federal Government. If I am incorrect say so but it would seem the culprites on allowing these electronic voting machines to remain in use are each States Election boards.

Larry

If Billionaire Oprah had ever used a touchscreen ATM, she would have known how to operate the voting machine. And an unselected vote is only a "flipped" vote in the minds of hysterical liberals. The only fraud being perpetrated will be that of ACORN and their co-conspirators. Just ask the FBI.

As for flipped votes reported in 2004, I can only ask myself why, if a company can rig the software on the machine to flip a vote, why would they display the flipped vote so that the voter can see that it's flipped? Kinda takes the air out of the diabolical Diebold conspiracy theory and leads one to ham-fisted, technology-averse troglodyte voters as the true cause.

VOTE FRAUD

whatreallyhappened.com

get back to us when you're up to date on this subject matter:>)

Disney's post proves my point that the sheeple just love being stupid, and lazy.
It is so much easier to ignorantly believe that everything is just fine, and then go back to watching American Gladiators.

No Larry,
The voting machines are yours, and my responsibility.
Passing the buck onto the state election boards won't solve the problem.

Larry have you come to accept that I will be here for life? retort4life

You did make a very valid point with your statement.

In fact, when I wrote in my earlier post (#8) on this thread --

...I just saw a computer geek on tv an hour ago show how easy it is to change the chip in an e-voting machine to switch the winners....

The computer guy who did the demonstration showing how easy it was to insert a computer chip that would rig the votes, he also said the exact same thing you did -- that no one would rig an e-voting machine with a computer chip which would show the voter on the screen their vote had flipped.

He said if there had been any computer chips put into an e-voting machine in order to illegally change the voting results, it would have already been programmed into the chip and would not be displayed on the screen where the voter could see it.

Your comment makes the most sense. Touche.

This evening (Sat) my daughter got out of bed at 1AM and marched into the living room clutching her blanket and said "Morning Daddy". I had to break the news gently. In the meantime I was spending a little alone time watching some of Barack Obama's videos on you tube. You can tell he's biracial. You can tell because when he speaks he's 50% JFK and 50% MLK. The inspiration oozes from him. If he gets into office he will go a long way to unite this country in a way it never has been united before. I sat here listening to the inspiring words (and yes, Barrack could tell you your house is burning down and inside it your wife, your kids, and your life savings are fueling the fire and it would still sound good). But sitting here tonight with my daughter on my lap I listened to this inspirational message and tried to think of a way to impart to a 5 year old how important this time is in history. How it will directly touch her future, her future as an American, and as a Bi-racial American. If Barack wins on the 4Th the American public will do far more than elect a new president, they will break down barriers and walls that are, if not as physical, then at least as important as the fall of the wall in Berlin. But how do you impart that to a 5 year old? After much thought I simply went with, "Who is this on the screen? (Her answer "Barack Obama" - she knows). "Well Mia this is a very important time for all of us and you will understand that when you get older. Barack is a very important man". (Snuggling her close) I want you to remember this, so when you are older and understand how important this is hopefully you can remember this moment in time. Snuggling with Daddy and watching Barrack Obama getting ready to change history. "I don't want to pit red America against blue America, I want to be President of the UNITED States of America...". "Hope is what lead me here today". Hope is what lead us to you Barrack. Sleep tight my daughter. In a very few hours we can either kick the human experiment in America forward with intelligence and thoughtfulness, or lock it into conservative Tupperware and shove it back in the freezer for another 4 years or so and let it rot along with the America we love. Barrack Obama says "My Faith in the American people has been vindicated". Well Barrack, if you get in, mine has been renewed.

Your comments were beautifully put. You should print out your post and tuck it away and one day when your daughter is old enough to really understand it, bring it out and let her read your words.

You wrote --

...Barrack Obama says "My Faith in the American people has been vindicated".
Well Barrack, if you get in, mine has been renewed.

I know you will be disappointed if Obama does not win, although right now it looks as though he will. But if for some reason he does not win the election, your faith in the American people should still have been renewed.

For a Black man to even be named the Presidential nominee of one of our country's two main political parties says a lot about how far we have come as a nation. Only a half century ago Blacks in the South had to attend segregated schools and use separate drinking fountains. Now in only three days there is a real possibility that a Black man will be chosen by the voters to hold the highest position in our nation. If Obama is elected President, his job will not be easy. It comes during a time of much tension in the world and many problems here at home.

But whether or not Obama wins the election, history has already been made.

"As for flipped votes reported in 2004, I can only ask myself why, if a company can rig the software on the machine to flip a vote, why would they display the flipped vote so that the voter can see that it's flipped?"

Plausible Deniability:
en.wikipedia.org

I believe it didn't "flip" to another candidate but simply didn't record properly. People, please - we must go back to the paper ballot. Either inka-dot or punch card. We need to make sure these are kept in good repair and that there are enough machines in all precincts.

I am also beginning to think we need to make voting mandatory (providing the option to vote for none). This will protect citizens from having their votes suppressed.

Regarding the suggestions made at the end of the article:

Yeah, I'll get right the fuck on that.

Asshat.

don't know where Oprah votes precisely, but if in Chicago, her vote was probably lost on one of Sequoia Voting System's touch-screens. If out in the burbs, it was likely Diebold's touch-screen. Either way, it's a 100% unverifiable vote. Even after she succeeded in making her selection.

Her vote didn't flip, she's cast yher ballot, but just can't get over the fact she's an uber-idiot who can't understand something as simple as pushihng a fuckin' button. What an obvious attempt to sling yet more bullshit on the wall to see what sticks...pathetic, at best.

like that typo I just made, only I'll own up to it...it was my fault I misspelled "pushing" . Get over yourself, Oprahtard...

Maybe Americans that give a shit about fair and just elections.

Larry

Man has to be smarter than the machine he operates. Lar, put that damn stick down.

Yes, American1st, Oprah's an idiot who can't push buttons. Where the fuck DID she get those billions of dollars from? Hmmmm.

In 2004, In New Hampshire, and other states, there were convictions, and prison for election fraud, and vote tampering with the computers.
A whistle blower computer programmer that worked for Diabold testified before congress that the machines were designed with backdoor codes so they could be secretly accesses, and manipulated.
In the last elections in New Hampshire, Colorado, Louisiana, and other states there are on going investigations, and court cases, (I'm not sure about convictions) for vote tampering, and computer manipulation.
But the same old brain dead morons on Drudge think anything outside of their comfort zone of corporate media information is a conspiracy.
Sheeple love, GMO, GMSO, fluoride, aspartame, and TV.
Oh yeah... and smart pills.

I wonder who Oprah voted for? Let's see. She refused to allow Palin on her show but drooled over Obama so I guess she voted for Obama. Not that she is racist or anything. Does the fact that she voted really need to be in the news? Who cares if she voted or not. She seems to be as mindless and many other people who listen to the O's words but refuse to look at his actions. Well, it worked for Hitler so it may work here too. What a shame. A guy who comes out of nowhere, is friends with terrorists and Marxists and says he wants to UNITE us. Being friends with Wright and others who preach separation isn't important I guess.

By coming out for Obama and not inviting Palin on her show, O has lost some viewers and subcribers to her magazine. If Obama wins, according to the socialist tax plan, O will begin to lose roughly $6 millions a year in taxes.

So I applaud her for willing to pay the price to elect a Black President.

(Side note: by not allowing Palin on her show, she also has forfeited the freedom to showcase Obama on her show this late in the election).

Relax...She's just lobbying to enact our nations new Federal Elections Recount Day on the first Wednesday of November.

You bitch now but if your so called messiah wins, I'll doubt you'll still be outraged over the use of those machines. Typical liberal hypocracy.

Lonniel

If we're going to discuss voter fraud then let's discuss Obama campaign people voting absentee in California and voting in New Mexico. That's a subject, I'd love to hear liberals defend. I mean I'm half tempted to file a class action suit because I only got to vote once.

Lonnie

I am also beginning to think we need to make voting mandatory (providing the option to vote for none). This will protect citizens from having their votes suppressed.

That would never happen because Democrats refuse to allow military personnel stationed overseas to vote and have that vote count. Currently they do absentee ballot but those sometimes don't make it to the US in time for the elections. Sometimes we have such bad luck with the postal service in some areas.

The majority of the military vote goes for the party who takes care of the military which means most of those votes are for a Republican. It's in the Democrats best interest to prevent those votes from counting.
