John McCain and his campaign claim there's a tightening of polls in battleground states heading into the weekend. "We're pretty jazzed up about what we're seeing as movement in this election," McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis said.

Meh. They'll be saying the same thing next Wednesday.

..while demanding a recount....of course...

The Saturday Night Live appearance might be the last straw, however.

With sincere apologies to Monty Python...

BLACK KNIGHT: Come on then.
ARTHUR: What?
BLACK KNIGHT: Have at you!
ARTHUR: You are indeed brave, Sir knight, but the fight is mine.
BLACK KNIGHT: Oh, had enough, eh?
ARTHUR: Look, you stupid bastard, you've got no arms left.
BLACK KNIGHT: Yes I have.
ARTHUR: Look!
BLACK KNIGHT: Just a flesh wound.
[bang]
ARTHUR: Look, stop that.
BLACK KNIGHT: Chicken! Chicken!
ARTHUR: Look, I'll have your leg. Right!

BLACK KNIGHT: Right, I'll do you for that!
ARTHUR: You'll what?

[ARTHUR chops the BLACK KNIGHT's other leg off]
BLACK KNIGHT: All right; we'll call it a draw.

at least mccain didn't spend $700,000 campaigning in GERMANY!

"... at least mccain didn't spend $700,000 campaigning in GERMANY!"

Nancy will explain the relevance of THAT, I'm sure. Folks like you and me, Nancy, think enough of Obama to let him do a lot of things like half-hour three-network infomercials seen by 33 million. Our former exchange student saw Obama in Berlin, Nancy, and tells us all Europe roots for him. herm

I bet the have been listening to ELO-

I believe we really have seen al there is...

"... at least mccain didn't spend $700,000 campaigning in GERMANY!"

Not campaigning; defusing the McCain argument that he had not visited the troops.

It was well reasoned and publicized why he took the trip.
It was critized before since he had not visited our troops and is critized after for "campaigning".

OUTSTANDING!!

Your desperation is showing, surely you have some other dynamite accusation.

I don't understand why this is news.

Did anyone expect McCain at any point to say "that's it. I'm throwing in the towel."? Geesh

Tuesday is going to be interesting.

"Tuesday is going to be interesting."

Agreed. Wednesday maybe even more so.

"Wednesday maybe even more so."

Agreed.

Hope you are well Danforth.

"Hope you are well"

Better than I deserve.

Same back at'cha.

Setting the stage for vote rigging, as usual.

Republican, right or wrong, constitute 25% of the electorate. This year thinking conservatives have crossed over. Offsetting that in a bigger way, is silent racism, in the South and most old women.

Democrats, right or wrong, constitute 35% of the electorate.

Independents are 40%. Rove used shit to target them but McCain has lost them.

Vote rigging worked twice. But it is not clear that Wall Street, the worthless leaches that run this country, want McCain. They see Obama as a better way to continue running their scams.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Hell no.

It it ain't over now.

McCain will be just like Stevens......They think pretty much alike..........

With the democracks registering dead people and goldfish Nobama might steal it.

No, it may 'not be over....yet'.....

....but it will be over for McCant come Tuesday.

SENATOR McCain, get used to that title....bitch!

Those Germans love a parade.

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"

Maybe you're teasing, but I suspect not.

pride goeth before a fall.

"With the democracks registering dead people and goldfish Nobama might steal it."

when you try to stop those dead people you need to shoot them in the head, Remember "Day of the Dead" by Romero, those were registered democrats turning violent because they were turned away at the polls, "Sorry sir, dead people lose the right to vote, Thank you"
(CONTROLLEDPAIRS) thinks that was a true story. Those intellectually challenged righties, WOW!

Onna

There are some people whose LIVES are works of fiction.

just saw McCain's rally with Arnold, as the camera panned the audience, it appears that a lot of school kids were there. Does he know these kids can't vote? But they do make his crowds look big. It seems without Sarah or Arnold very few show up. Popular guy that McCain is!

Was that the rally where McCain called Joe the Plumber his role model? I about fell off the sofa when I saw that .

But it is not clear that Wall Street, the worthless leaches that run this country, want McCain. They see Obama as a better way to continue running their scams.

Think again, a recent poll of CFO's shows they want McLame. Why? Same old Raygononics shit that made them the rich fucks they are, of course.

Most don't see it: this election is a class warfare deal, the rich, the elitists, the pigs versus the working class. Recreeps have clearly identified themselves at to what whores they are, and to whom.

Wednesday's gonna be damned interesting.

Arnold figured he had nothing to lose by doing this, I suppose...

Of course it isn't over.

I've been waiting patiently for the neocons to finish splicing together a really scary montage of Osama bin Laden's latest hits in an effort to scare the bejebus out of their disloyal base.

I really don't know what's holding up the show. Maybe they thought Sarah Palin would do the trick. I know she scared the shit out of me but I'm a Democrat so it worked in reverse.

I just know it's getting a little late in the game for an "October Surprise" so if Rove and Schmidt have anything left in their bag, now is the time to spring it.

As someone said . . . McCain is way past that 'steep hill' he has to climb.

He's at the bottom of a cliff looking straight up.

Senator John Blutarsky.

DUH! Everyone knows it's not over untill the republicans vote on November 5th.

That smiling guy walking down the street? Odds are he's a Barack Obama backer. The grouchy looking one? Don't ask, and don't necessarily count on him to vote next week, either.

More John McCain supporters feel glum about the presidential campaign while more of Obama's are charged up over it, according to an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll released Saturday.

The survey shows McCain backers have become increasingly upset in recent weeks, a period that has seen Obama take a firm lead in many polls. One expert says the contrasting moods could affect how likely the two candidates' supporters are to vote on Election Day, possibly dampening McCain's turnout while boosting Obama's.

Hey - someone tell the moderator he's late to the party with the news. Even CNN now reports that the Messiah's Aunt is an illegal - living off of the US taxpayer - not the kind of change we need!

Hey - someone...

Kim Jong Il: Dear Leader: Obama: ACLU: Police State ---

Well, not that much, but some of that will trickle down and those not behind Obama will lose some freedom.

Case in point: ACLU tout itself as crusader for privacy and civil libereties of each individuals (including suspected terrorists), but they wish Joe the plumber to go to hell for exposing a closet Marxist. No comment on the invasion of Joe's privacy.

Hypocrite:ACLU.

" but they wish Joe the plumber to go to hell for exposing a closet Marxist. No comment on the invasion of Joe's privacy."

How can you expect privacy when you air your life on the hannititty hate circus?
Your position is just Dumb!

JTP's privacy was comprimised by McCain when he brought his name up in the last debate.
JTP has comprimised it further by making himself available to the media.

Also, McCain was thrilled to have Rudy the Yankee Mascot show up to lend his support. McCain said that after 911 Rudy never missed a funeral. He can now add one more to his list.

Who do you think ran a worse Presidential campaign,
McCain or Rudy? Rudy probably told McCain to forget everything else and focus on Florida. Rudy looks more and more like the undertaker from The Godfather every time I see him.

Hey taki, did joe ask the ACLU to look into this "invasion" (like limough did) but was refused, (like how limbough wasn't)?

Or do you think the ACLU is just to do stuff for you without being propted?

ACLU does not need any invitation to denounce the invasion of Joe's privacy --- it searches for causes and does it on its own, but strangely overlooking this incident exposes ACLU as hypocritical.

Joe simply posed a political question. He didn't ask for his personal records to be aired nationwide. A Black woman who donated to Obama authorised his records to be fished and spilled to reporters.

"A Black woman who donated to Obama authorised his records to be fished and spilled to reporters"

Then prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law.

Now...what does this have to do with Obama, or is all behavior by supporters automatically the fault of the candidate?

Interview Ashley Todd before you respond, if needed.

Anti-Obama DVD targets battleground States. Governor Ed Rendell thinks the race in PA is closer than polls suggests. newsmax.com

Ezzy, I live in PA. I can tell you. The race here? Not closer than the poll suggests.

Not terribly happy about that, but there it is.

Kinda funny actually, I talked turkey (politics) with a group here a couple days ago, we were sitting down at the bar, watching the Phillies finish up, and the question came up.

Broke down like this:
1: voting for self (that would be me)
2: for McCain
3: for Obama
6: not voting in that particular race

People around here, I think they get it. The game sucks, and both players are losers.

Joe simply posed a political question. He didn't ask for his personal records to be aired nationwide.

I call Bullshit.

The moments after the JTP debate he was all over the news shows. Just like every other dumbass out there, he could not refuse the 15 minutes of fame promised to him by blinky.

That alone invited the media in to scrutinize his life.

If he wanted to remain nameless he should not have been allowed to be used like the tool he is by McCain.

Well, anything can happen. But the clock reads 00:02 in the fourth quarter, McCain's team is back at their own 5-yardline, it's fourth and 20, and they're down by (at least) 6.

Sometimes a Hail Mary works, but it rarely does.

And the beat goes on.....

Hey Sweetchuck, if you are gonna piss your pants, please do so in private.

But Zogby says that McCain is leading now so that must be true, right? LOL...

Ok when its over its over. And (knock on formica)....this is over :)

"Nobama...."

Well, to the extent all those bad things are true, I image you really hate George W. Bush right now.

Reading red state forums, they ceased speaking of Bush months and months ago. Pretty much the same way they still don't really speak about the Iraq War.

It's the heads-up-one's-asses thing that's making y'all lose. You'll have to get it removed at some point.

You are right, Senator McCain: its not over yet. You are leading by 1 point as of October 31, 2008 evening. newsmax.com

RCP National Average Obama 50.2 McCain 43.7 Obama +6.5

www.realclearpolitics.com

An average of polls is a clearer indication of reality. However, I can tell you that many red staters (sincerely) think 99% of all polls are owned by the opposition. The only way they'll believe Obama won is to have their noses rubbed in it Tuesday.

In Three Days ... John McCain will become John McNothing and be patronized as an old man that most people will sorta feel sorry for.

PA: Obama's lead shrunk from 7 to 4. Something is shifting. ( goptrust.com is hitting the airwaves with Hussein's mentor J. Wright; discovery of Obama's aunt is not helping).
