Bill Ayers dedicates book to Sirhan Sirhan...the man that shot Robert Kennedy. It called Prairie Fire.

WOW! Bummer!

Sirhan Sirhan was set up by the Zionists.

If you think Oswald was a patsy, the truth about
Sirhan Sirhan will send your bra into orbit.

Bill Ayers dedicates book to a freedom fighter.

Big deal.
So what.

Be Well.

David Petraeus Rocks.... He did what he is told. Finally someone in charge!

Patraeus is a hero and true patriot. However he is now more of a politician than a tactical commander. He will be forced by his superiors at the pentagon and White House to question his commanders on the ground, wherever they may be.He will make decisions that should be left to the guys on site.so goes the modern politically correct neutered military.

Patreous gets the Centcom gig?

Good fer him.

He's a smart and thoughtful soldier with great leadership skills and command presence.

Spud never bought into the BS far left General "Betrayus" crap that others were trying to spew.

Bottom line is that Dumbya's lack of a proper plan in Iraq had taken the place to the brink of madness afore Gen. Dave tried some new strategies that worked out better.

As mentioned on the article it didn't hurt that Al Sadr declared a ceasefire and the AQ wingnuts wore out their welcome about the same time he took over.

Gen Dave's idea to concentrate on increasing the security of Iraqis in order to try and win back at least a few hearts and minds proved successful.

His work winning over local militias was also noteworthy.

The surge, as Spud has always maintained, was a false construct nad was not primarily resonpsible fer the drop in violence in Baghdad. That had more to do with the above mentioned factors plus the bitter reality that the mass exodus of refugess, combined with the making of Baghdad into a prison city plus the "success" of the ethnic cleansing.

Spud is sure that General Dave will work closely with President Obama in order to bring the troops out of Iraq in a timely and responsible manner.

Good luck, General Dave.

Yer gonna need it.

Be Well.

"the modern politically correct neutered military"

Bush has been CiC for almost 8 years. Why do you believe he turned the military into a politically correct neutered group?

Why spend more than the rest of the world combined on our military when we cant use the firepower? Thats stupid. We could have leveled Fallujah,Ramadi and Mecca a long time ago and that would have shut the terrorists up for a long time.Thats the only thing that those people understand Dannyboy.

Saved a lot of American lives too.

Collateral damage you say? Unfortunate in war.

Tougher job, especially with a c-in-c with a brain. after having to only tell Bush what he wanted to hear, Obama actually asks him intelligent questions.

Controlledpairs says intelligent things.

"We could have leveled Fallujah,Ramadi and Mecca a long time ago and that would have shut the terrorists up for a long time"

That is so 20th century.

"Collateral damage you say? Unfortunate in war."

But you're not talking collateral damage. You're talking white-hot, city-wide, scorching annihilation. Decimating 99.9% of innocents to get to the one-tenth of one percent enemy. Hardly "collateral damage".

99.9% innocents my ass.Your livng in a fantasy world. It worked in Japan and will work in the mideast with these savages.Fire with fire.

Controlled Repairs - clearly an emotionally imbalanced armchair general - or armchair warcriminal more likely.

1 - Japan had waged a brutal war on the pacific and had it coming, if anyone could have nuclear war coming... Iraq did what exactly to deserve this? not accepting our occupation gratefully? The bastards.

Please tell me what benefit to the US annihilating these cities wholesale will achieve?
Other than turning the entire world against the US, forcing all Arabs to cut off oil supplies immediately, all allies pulling out of all wars we need them in, and generally ensuring that even more people conspire in future to seek US destruction.

oh yeah - I forgot the cathartic feeling of " we got 'em" that will be awesome for 10 minutes.... but then what?

Collateral damage you say? Unfortunate in war."

Didn't bin laden say that about 9-11? Nice company you keep Oxycontinpairs.

Wasn't a war-was a liberation. Ask Mccadaver-the whole greeted as liberator thing. We didn't level Paris, Amsterdam or Oslo.

You kiss enough ass You get promoted isn't that always the case.

Does that include Obama's planned "residual force?"

We could have leveled Fallujah,Ramadi and Mecca a long time ago and that would have shut the terrorists up for a long time.

We certainly could have, and ensured a billion + people to want us all dead for it. Instead of having a few million, why not a billion?

Any intelligent person could think out that rammification.
