According to Wikipedia, Sam Wurzelbacher made $40k in 2006. I don't know his details, but let's assume he's married (probable), files jointly (likely), has no outstanding balance on his mortgage (doubtful), and zero rugrats, under Barack Obama's plan he'd save $1,000 in taxes. His buddy John McCain wouldn't save him a dime.

As Joe is now appearing at some McCain campaign events, do suppose the McCain campaign is paying him enough to change his tax bracket?

I tried Obama's little tax calculator. No matter what amount you put in for income, you get zero under McCain's plan, which btw includes leaving the tax cuts for the middle class. Isn't that interesting??

Mine had an amount under mcsames plan. it was about 2/3 less than obamas
