However, no evidence is presented. There's a lot of "he said that he said..." There is a lot of "Ayers certainly had time to write it or edit it." (so did millions of other people) There's a lot of "his earlier writings weren't so polished." (so what? neither were mine)

Since he doesn't offer quotations, has no actual proof that editing or ghost-writing occurs, what can one make of this?

Takitez takes it as gospel. I take it with a grain of salt. Personally, I find that any modern author has extensive editing and at least a little ghost-writing. This website speculates along the lines of the Vince Foster conspiracy nuts. Takitez, you'll have to do better than that.

Let's examine Takitez and NewsMax's claim (by an editorial writer) that $400K was spent on that Obama plane.

I fly frequently to China. I fly in 747 jets mostly.
The average occupancy on my flights has been 200-250, let's use the higher figure today. Airfare on those trips averaged $1050 (as of Jan 2008). At even 250 pax, the revenue is about $260,000. That's to fly from Dallas to Beijing...$25,000 miles round-trip and (if it were non-stop) 15.5 hours. Crew: 3 in the cockpit I think, and maybe 12 flight attendants.

That's $250K for a trip twice as long. So I must politely call "bullshit" on the claim that it takes $400K to fly to Hawaii and back, with less pax and half the miles and half the time.

It's seriously and deliriously over. Republicans will lose; the only question is by how much.

I keep hearing on all the cable channels and talk radio stations (both right and left) that there is infighting within the McCain camp between Palin and the ones running McCain's campaign.

The reports say Palin is not going along with their suggestions, that the McCain campaign told her not to bring up the "clothes" subject anymore yet Palin continues to talk about it, and the McCain insiders feel Palin might be setting herself up for 2012 and looking only after her own interests.
