I have a friend back in WI whose first child had down syndrom..and she was 20 when she gave birth. My step mother was 30 when she had a child with DS. There are thousands of births by younger mothers who have had DS.

I was 40 and had a perfectly normal, healthy child.

I don't care for a lot of things that Palin has been stating, in fact I find most of them pathetic and sinful. However, because she has a child with DS, does not make her white trailer trash. She did not choose to have a child with a disability.

I'd be more concerned with your tax dollars spent on caring for others whose actions were by choice. Let's start with women who are pregnant and on drugs, alcohol if you want to be upset about tax dollars going to rip on women who are having sex.
