Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Scott McClellan, the former White House press secretary who sharply criticized President Bush in his memoir last spring, is voting for Barack Obama. "From the very beginning I have said I am going to support the candidate that has the best chance for changing the way Washington works and getting things done and I will be voting for Barack Obama and clapping," he said.

geez - y'all're getting all the goo...um, repub rejects! cool!

Anyone left on your side, Nancy? I guess there's always Rush. herm

Interesting, all those republicans who got fired or left are now voting democrat.

I suppose when one finds out that the party one supported for years is lying and cheating and pushing America from being the actual greatness that is was meant to be forces them to move away from that party.

Seems there are more than a few waiting for an opportunity to give George Bush the same shaft he gave them.

Paybacks are a bitch!

Whoda thunk it, huh? That one day the neo-cons would be so far down on their luck that even their former staffers would be lining up to kick them in the balls ~ with great relish.

It could happen to a more deserving bunch of guys.

i'm not a republican, herm - how many times must i state that FACT?!?

kick them in the balls ~ with great relish.

And onions and mustard too.

Fuck those Bushco criminals. Even death by a thousand little cuts would be too kind.

More morons voting for Obama.

More morons voting for Obama.

So will other top Republicans suddenly become "morons", or were they morons all along?

Colin Powell = moron????

KBM calling anyone a moron is hilarious.

When and if you vote, what letter is next to the folks you pull the lever for?

McClellan is a Judas; as for Powell, if Iscariot is too strong a word, then hypocrite will fit better --- he railed against attack on Obama, yet insulted Palin to elevate Obama, and also ignoring the relentless insults the liberals and the liberal media has heaped on her.

But the surprise is that the biased liberals still consider themselves above their opponents in all these.

BTW, the polls have been cooked to be biased too and hence I have been calling them: SCARECROW POLLS (Newsmax.com). The deal is not closed yet and McCain can win! A November surprise!

"insulted Palin to elevate Obama"

With apologies to HST, Powell told the truth, and Republicans take it as an insult.

Give 'em hell, Colin!

When and if you vote, what letter is next to the folks you pull the lever for?

Somtimes it's a D.

Sometimes it's an R.

Sometimes it's neither.

Voting for a particular political party does not make one a member of said political party.

Hack.

Well I voted yesterday morning at 8:10 AM and some had D's and Some had R's and some I couldn't tell.

Larry

I wonder how many more republicans (with a conscience) will have to turn against the criminal behavior before the rank and file hard core republicans will admit that their boys in office right now are just plain common criminals?

And who is to say just because you work for someone that you cannot turn against them if it's in the publics best interest and they are criminals?

That is if the poor boy is even eligble to run. Now woulddn't that be kicker.

For all we know, Obama could still be an illegal citizen. (Worldnetdaily).

It seems as if more and more conservatives are endorsing Obama. But you still have a lot of them "going down with the ship" that is McCain. Read Charles Krauthammer's endorsement here:

www.realclearpolitics.com

They make their reasoned arguments, and I have to admit those arguments are not inflamatory and are well thought out.

I just have one question: before they encourage us all to vote Republican:

Shouldn't they have to explain the current mess we are in? Shouldn't they have to explain why their conservative ideologies failed us so horribly and left us in the current mess we're in? They were all huge fans of Bush. Bush enacted most of what they wanted.

When do we get an explaination from these conservative pundits on why their ideas have left on the brink of ruin?

"Hack.

I'm sorry, let me get you a hot steaming cup of shut the fuck up.

Sweaty McMelon's got the clap? George better go get tested. It's probably what really killed Tony Snow.

But since Mcacdaver did that long piece in the WashingtonTimes saying whata miserable failure Bush and his fellow GOPpers are, why would the righties get upset with a former Bushie agreeing with him?

"For all we know, Obama could still be an illegal citizen. (Worldnetdaily)."

Another WorldNetDaily article promotes the lawsuit filed by Philip J. Berg against Barack Obama regarding Obama's birth certificate while failing to mention that two months earlier, WND declared that Berg's lawsuit "relies on discredited claims" and that a "WND investigation into Obama's birth certificate utilizing forgery experts also found the document to be authentic."

it's well known that fundies do lie, lie for Jesus!

forgot to include WND link on how WND found the document to be authentic (from WND site)
www.worldnetdaily.com

what say you TAITEZ, lie for Jesus?

"With apologies to HST, Powell told the truth, and Republicans take it as an insult."

After the right royal fucking BushCo gave Colin Powell over WMD's, what the hell do they expect?

"McCellan voting for Obama". WHOW WHAT A SCOOP!

I'm changing my vote from McCainto FLOP EARS because this Drudge/NYSlime news item is earth shattering.

What dribble. Your a moron Drudge.

What Republicans really do not understand is that
the country looks more and more like Barack Obama every year. If they continue to nominate old white men to run for President and the Congress they will be a minority party for decades to come.

Unless they embrace and welcome ethnic minorities into their party, their future will remain bleak.
Contrary to popular opinion, most African-American and Hispanic citizens are not liberals. They are
more conservative than the Republican party believes.

However, they support Democrats because they are unwelcome in the G.O.P. The face of the Republican Party needs to look more like Bobby Jindhal and less like John McCain if they hope to be a political force in the future. It also wouldn't hurt if they reached out on an economic
level to working class Americans.

"More morons voting for Obama."

How can you say that!? His supporters are voting the issues...here's proof:

www.youtube.com

Here's Danforth (or Doc_Sarvis, I'm not sure which) asking you to leave Obama alone:

Takeacrapski never answers these questions. He/she justs flames and goes away until he/she finds another thread to flame with lies and lack of perspective.

That's what many christians are all about these days.

I used to watch McClellan at press conferences and think, "there's a guy who hates his job and having to lie continuously for Bush/Cheney/Rove". That hang-dog look on his face made it obvious. It had to be a tremendous relief to get the pink slip from those thugs. Now they have Perino who actually looks like she loves being point-person for all of the underhandedness. She reminds me of a dominatrix without the boots and whip, or sorta like one of the high school teachers having sex with freshmen virgins. What a cunt!!

At http://www.intrade.com this morning, 10 shares of Obama-to-win were going for $86 and 10 shares of McCain were going for $14. If you think McCain is going to win, an investment of $14,000 in McCain stock now will yield $100,000 in two weeks.

so TAKITEZ you can make a lot of money, go for it!

For all we know, Takitez could really be Peggy Noonan; it writes like her.

Ozzie:
no problem, you vote for Cauliflower Face Sidney and the Stepford Veep, and I'll vote for Flopears.

McClellan's voting for the right guy, but it doesn't change my opinion of him after reading some of his book. He's a total lightweight and a bit of a dope -- he actually mentions his sixth-grade girlfriend by name in the book and points out she was Hispanic, making it an interracial relationship!

I am surprised he's capable of voting and clapping at the same time.

And the hits just keep on coming:

Charles Fried, a professor at Harvard Law School, has long been one of the most important conservative thinkers in the United States. Under President Reagan, he served, with great distinction, as Solicitor General of the United States. Since then, he has been prominently associated with several Republican leaders and candidates, most recently John McCain, for whom he expressed his enthusiastic support in January.

This week, Fried announced that he has voted for Obama-Biden by absentee ballot. In his letter to Trevor Potter, the General Counsel to the McCain-Palin campaign, he asked that his name be removed from the several campaign-related committees on which he serves. In that letter, he said that chief among the reasons for his decision "is the choice of Sarah Palin at a time of deep national crisis."

"i'm not a republican, herm - how many times must i state that FACT?!?"

Nancy, you walk like a duck, talk like a duck, even quack for fetuses... herm

HERM, are you throwing molotov cocktails at innocents again? I thought you learned your lesson already.

"...throwing molotov cocktails at innocents again? I thought you learned your lesson..."

Billy El Cid weighs in with the morning ration of sophisticated wit. Should I reassure The Cid that I will NEVAH throw a Molotov (cap M) cocktail at an "innocent," especially at a fetus? Naaah! herm

SAMBARBER: IF YOUR VOTING FOR FLOP EARS THEN YOU ARE ALSO VOTING FOR DUMBO.

Does anyone else think McClellan is gay?
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
There just seems to be alot of closeted gay
men circling the Bush Administration.

Sam, Peggy Noonan writes better than me --- much better.

Those who are betting on Obama will lose big money.

McClellan's kind of goofy and his "endorsement" has to rank right up there with, I dunno, Barara Streisand's or something. But, that doesn't change the fact that there have been some serious heavyweight righwingers going for Obama and, um, how many lefties are switching to McSame?

Peggy Noonan writes better than me --- much better.

Yeah, but you've got bigger tits --- much bigger.

Good tits.

Those betting on Obama better lower your risk right now. McCain is leading in Ohio and Florida --- according to Strategic Vision, which received death threats for releasing such good news for McCain.

Ashley Todd is making death threats??

Anyone who claps while he votes is a fucking douche and deserves, at minimum, a knee to the groin.

Scott has the clap?

scott,

you're alright, I can almost forgive you for defending the moron all those years.

Poor Take, doomed by God to pick throught he GOP's shit piles, hoping to find some seed of hope.

btw-RCP average has Obama up by 6 in Ohio and 2 in Florida, not to mention by 11 in PA. And he doesn't need to win any of them to be Prez.

Odds are Palin announces that Bristol was gang raped by a bunch of black Obama supporters sometime next week. She'll have "Vote for barak Hussein Obama and Joe Biden" carved into her forehaed.

backwards.

Nah Sarah Palin can't use mirrors. Her reflection turns away and runs when She utters a sound. Even Her reflection is repulsed by Her voice.

Larry

I know this thread is about McClellan, but it really is all about GW. The man -- an obvious failure from the get go to folks who really put country first and didn't buy into his cowboy bullshit -- has ruined his families political legacy, led the nation to a dark time, and is responsible for thousands of needless deaths, all terrible things. The one bright spot -- he has soiled-- win or lose this election -- the republican brand for years to come.

Man, us Liberals told you so -- on him, on the war, on the economy (go back and read Krugman and Greider from a year ago), but we were called all sorts of school yard names, and now these same blind faith head in the sand spiritual vegetables are back to the name calling because a large chunk of folks see their choice for President (Palin) as yet another failure in the making.

Talk about batting a thousand. Man, Republicans are sooooo fucking dumb.

Spud caught this bit on news by flipping through the channels and catching Scott McClellan on Larry King on a panel and being identified as "Supporting Obama".

Wow, thought Spud, someone really screwed up there.

Turns out it wasn't mistake after all.

Obamacans are real.

Go figure.

G08ama!

Be Well.

There just seems to be alot of closeted gay
men circling the Bush Administration.

Cos Bi-Curious George is also a closet case.

Betcha his long term beard Laura is just counting the days until she can divorce him.

Be Well.

McClellan is the fag, barney frank has pictures of the two of them together. I'll find the link and post the pics here.

I am surprised he's capable of voting and clapping at the same time.

Hell that's easy. Aren't alot of voting places using touch screens?? If so Take Your big primary grade unsharped pencil in Your teeth with the erasure towards the screen and raise both arms up and clap as You vote. Easy Peasy RCADE. I am shocked You couldn't think of that one.

Larry
