With $605 million already, Obama asks only $10 more from each of us

Having hauled in a record $208,333 every hour of every day last month -- $150 million in all -- plus a few more unreported millions so far this month, Barack Obama is worried that he might come up short in the political money war with the John McCain-Sarah Palin ticket.

"$150 million in all"

YEAH!

At least he asked! Bush and crew on the other hand just used good ole' GOP extortion to take our money!

Peanuts compared to what the Bush administration has stolen from the American people!

rnv - pardon me if i don't share in your "joy", but i've not had a thing stolen from me.

"rnv - pardon me if I don't share in your "joy", but I've not had a thing stolen from me."

Is that so? Then apparently you have no annuities, 401K or pension(s)!

Not only did I take a hit in excess of 35K from a single annuity, im now being soaked, (and our children) via the criminal Bush Ranger payout, err, bailout to the tune of 700 Billion!

You know butch, its one thing to be a proud "republican", it's entirely another to be a proud piss-poor "republican" poser!

Who is my party, w?

But most importantly, who was credited as the sole "presider" ad nausea when the cooked economy looked good?

I think it's only fair that the ones who claimed sole credit for it, also can be solely attributed to its failure!

Every donation to the Obama campaign is an investment in our future which will pay off for all of us, even the Obama haters.

Yeah and I just voted for Him too at 6:10 this morning. Pretty damned happy let's put it this way.

Larry

the economy was looking bad for many years - all the signs were in place - people should have taken measures beyond what the government COULD do for them - all it took to sink in for me was a little ticker i saw on the news nearly six years ago "the euro IS poised to take over WHEN the dollar fails." everyone should have seen the housing bubble forming.

p.s. - some economists in the last ten years have been saying, "buy land - they're not making it anymore." so, that's what we did.

It's for his re-election fund.....

See ya in 2012!

I thought for a minute Tony Rezco was calling in his marker.

it's not too late for an october surprise...

Umm, land values inflate along with housing; they also suffer when it slumps. In addition, when housing starts slump in conjunction with higher commodity costs, land becomes less valuable since developers are reluctant to borrow!

The run-up was steep and the fall will be just as steep.

You're such a fucking liar butch! I now convinced you are a renter!

"it's not too late for an october surprise"

Praying for an attack are you, Butch?

we have a 40 acre parcel and are buying back two 3+ acre parcels from someone who changed their minds about the land we sold them - fortunately, we are friends with them. we're also in the process of buying a home on 3+ acres.

i'm a girly-girl, rnv. don't call me a liar, nutcase.

p.s. - when we purchased the 40 acres, it was at $750 per acre - it went up to $3,000 an acre about five years ago - now it's leveling off to just under $1,000 - we don't care if it goes down to a dollar an acre.

p.s. - rnv? does your healthplan pay for psychiatric treatment? it would be money well spent in your case.

You are a Liar Butch ---- and a bad one at that!

and you are delusional.

but you are right about one thing - IF i WERE a liar, i'd make a very bad one.

rnv - pardon me if i don't share in your "joy", but i've not had a thing stolen from me.

who's gonna pay the 1 trillion for the Iraq war? That bill will be coming due soon and our lenders, Russia and China are not going to give us any breaks on the payment plan. Our good buddy Bush has not put that money in any budget so it is out there like a loming hammer over our cllective heads. But glad to know you won't have to pay any part of it.

bush is not my buddy.

Nice to see some things never change.

And Yawwwwwn McLame got caught demanding money from the russians.

old guys like you should really nap more often.

Of course Obama could have agreed to federal financing and the two could have toured the country together doing Townhalls and conducting a respectful campaign...

but No.

Who cares about bringing the country together when you can be guaranteed a win by ripping it apart?
