"Three big days for Obama. Anything can happen, but time is running short for McCain. These numbers, if they hold, are blowout numbers. They fit the 1980 model with Reagan's victory over Carter -- but they are happening 12 days before Reagan blasted ahead." -- pollster John Zogby

I sense change in the wind.

That was just me farting.

I feel so incomplete. My vote for obama seems rational to me but i need some emotional meaning.

Can BLT2 come along and tell me how we are all going to be USSR in 3 weeks if obama-lama gets elected while at the same time ignoring the fact that we have become Venezuela?

And also ignoring the fact that we have two sock puppets running for the repub ticket.

That will help seal the deal for me.

I thought it was McCain's campaign that smelled like that.

How far back is my candidate, Cynthia McKinney?

This is the purest good vs. evil contest in history, and the fact that Old John And The Alaska Airhead still produce ANY numbers pays tribute to the blatant marketing skills of the Rove machine, herm

HARDLY good v evil.

Encouraging, but still I'll hold my breath until this time next week.

Vote REPOMA

Reid, Pelosi, Obama

Socialism! Karl Marx would be proud Barack Obama! Gobama! Steal from the rich and give to the poor! You da man!

Unclesam would like to continue the practice of stealing from the poor and giving to the rich. He must be rich.

Spreading the wealth is a good thing. Ask Marie Antoinette. Ask the Russian Czars. I bet Marie would have been willing to share a bit of the wealth as that guillotine started its downward trek. I bet Czar Nicholas would have been willing to share the wealth a bit once the bullets started killing his family in that basement.

Sharing the wealth isn't an option. It is a necessity. Share or die. Simple isn't it.

MEMBER2586-Damn it man, get down wind when you feel the urge.

I would like to see a really accurate account of how many are just against the GOP, how many dislike McCain and a separate accounting for the persons liking/disliking The Sarah Creature.

Do this accounting along the same geopolitical and religious basis. How varied is the Asian vote? Oh Zogby, are you listening?

Poor McCain. If this country has ever needed Change, it is now. McCains timing couldn't be worse.

Gobama! Steal from the rich and give to the poor! You da man!

#12 | Posted by Unclesam at 2008-10-22 10:37 PM

Yeah! Give back what the elite has stolen from the poor!
Real Americans don't need money, jobs, or healthcare.

Hell No! That's socialism!

I don't pity McCain. Had He not sold out to Bushco after 2000 He would still have a place in My heart. But He kissed the arse that not only trashed His family but also hired them to trash Obama. How utterly dispicable can You be??

Larry

I sense bs. this is too easy/obvious. It doesn't feel right. Zogby is right oriented and all of a sudden he's telling us the truth? . why would he be saying all this now?

I'll believe it when I see O sworn in. Until then I don't believe squat.

Take this with a grain.

I would like to see a really accurate account of how many are just against the GOP, how many dislike McCain and a separate accounting for the persons liking/disliking The Sarah Creature.

The GOP USED to be a decent enough party-back when Barry Goldwater was too far right to get elected.
That was in 1964.
Since then they've gone downhill-the dirtier they've fought-the more their honor has slipped away.
I wouldn't vote rethug now until they line up all the neo-cons against a wall and call in a firing squad.
McLame is too old and desperate for the job-hell-he's pissed off that he even has to work for it!
Sarah Palin is no better George Bush.
I can go on and on-but I won't, suffice it to say-I can't see myself even considering a rethug until the party cleans up it's act.

What up Frankie?

Where the hell do all these people get the idea that socialism is just around the corner? The next president will deal with either a worse depression/recession than ever in the history of modern man. what will come of this country or what form it will take is anyone's guess.

'Blowout'? Who's blowing who?

Buffalo_Bob - Marie Antoinette and Czar Nicholas were replaced by defective socialist systems.
Despite the rantings of the have-nots and lazy trogs of our nation, it is wrong to take the money that I earned just to give it to those that won't. This is still a free country; I am free to succeed WITHOUT PENALTY. I am also free to fail without expectation of handouts at the expense of others. Those that cannot live by this should move to Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea or China.

Note;
Zogby had Gore up by 11 points, 'nuf said.

"Those that cannot live by this should move to Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea or China."

Leeches like you that want trillion dollar wars and don't want to pay for it should move to some South American dictatorship like Columbia.

don't trust these polls. The republicans are pure evil and will try to steal this election.

RASTA

Ohio's Sec of State put the lid on it there.

Even though it's illegal to purge voters within 90 days of a federal election the Republicans charge on with attempts in 18 states at voter suppression (of Democrats only of course).

"but they are happening 12 days before Reagan blasted ahead"

be careful about peaking too early.

ultimately, she'll always be disappointed in you.

Reagan blasted ahead after the only debate in 1980

The public wanted a change as they do now.

Obama's passed the "President" threshold.

It's gonna be interesting to watch the next few days. It'll probably tighten up nationally, but with Obama leading in many more than enough states to win 270 right now McCain will need a miracle to win.

Obama's passed the "President" threshold as Reagan did - a guy most people saw as 'that actor?'

AU never count the republicans out. they are like cockroaches. They are very hard to get rid of.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a landslide for Obuma. Mickey Mouse has been getting around all over the country and don't forget Mr. Good Will and his gang. It will be quite amusing to see the huge numbers of total votes in precincts and cities across the nation exceeding the number of registered voters in them.

O'Connell is still out there. He fixed Ohio, while God spoke to him on abortion. Rove's models coupled with Republican dominated districts will tell them where to strike next.

Past election returns and the bailout prove unequivocally that we are an Oligarchy, not a Democracy.

"It'll probably tighten up nationally"

I keep hearing folks say that but I doubt it, if anything I think the numbers will get even better for Obama. As voters contemplate a 72 year old, three time cancer survivor in the WH with Sarah Palin as VP they are deciding no freaking way.
Obama08!

When Obama said "spread the wealth around" he wasn't talking about socialism. He meant that
he would like to see a country where we all do
better. Of course this is blaspheme to Republicans who still believe in the Trickle Down Theory of economics.

Republicans believe in redistributing wealth.
They believe that we should take from the modest and give it to the wealthy because they will know what to do with it.

The era of Reagonomics is over.

The era of Obamanomics is coming - Trickle Up Poverty.

"Trickle Up Poverty."

Yeah like the poverty we all enjoyed before Ronnie Raygun cut taxes and created our first 3 trillion dollar debt. Bush 1 had it right...voo doo economics...they have ruined our country with it.

Ronnie Raygun burn in hell.

Republicans believe in redistributing wealth. - Tiger150

Yes, they believe in giving Sarah Palin's $150K wardrobe to Charity, once she's done with it.

THAT is the kind of wealth distribution they believe in.

Does anybody actually believe the charity spin didn't come in response to the criticism? I seriously doubt they mentioned the word "charity" once before that, in regards to the clothes.

Well they can add one more to the Obama total.

Larry

Don't count out the Repubs. They have something up their slimy sleeves, I can almost smell it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if McCain ended up getting in. Don't let your guard down Obama! Watch your back, and front, and sides! Take nothing for granted! Fight hard until the end! We are counting on you!

I wonder where Goofy is registered to vote this year.....

Palin wants s son named Zambomi.

Man, she must still be tokin' up regularly...

oh gee...........you flatter me

sure just go right ahead and elect a marxist president with ties to anarchists and communists.....will make it easier to have another jimmy carter administration of a full term.

and this blowout
rush is EXACTLY right.......these are all over the place to discourage the right and not vote and as we get closer they will get tighter because in hiswords, thier credibility will be on the line.

the only poll that counts is coming up quickly so lets see what we will see

and as to your specific comment
just look at the world who has endorsed obama

little guy from irabn
little guy from N korea
hamas
syria
ayers
and barbara streisand

and look at this..........the first two are SHORT GUYS,,,,,,,must give credence to the idea that short men are like that to compensate for their lack of size........hhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Poor John-even as he flails away ineffectively in PA, Ohio is turning blue...

Just think what it would be like if John was mavericky enough to have bucked the talibaptists and picked Ridge as VP.
Then again, he's really too much like Bush to do that...

C'mon, y'all, get real. Obama is going to kick McCain's ass - and here's PROOF. Dude can dance.
On the other hand, Gramps can bust a move too...

McCain is only 5'8". In my thinking, that is a runt (I am over 6'2"/240lbs). You are right, the napoleon complex will make short guys say or do anything to 'build themselves up'. Luckily, this doesn't have any meaning in reality but the short guys think it does.

Try another straw.

and lets review the powell endorsement for a moment

here is a quote that has gone unnoticed by mccain for some reason

powel said " experince is helpfull, but ut is judgement that matters".........and of course he was talking about sarah

judgement...........he is right so all I have to do is list people who obama had ties with at columbia

klonsky
shaeed
kahleed
ayers

all admitted anarchist committed to overthrowing capitalism..........but again

We cant talk about THAT can we

Just think what it would be like if John was mavericky enough to have bucked the talibaptists and picked Ridge as VP.

After trailing by 10 points in U.S. rural areas, Democrat Barack Obama is neck-and-neck with Republican John McCain among rural voters in 13 swing states, a potentially key group for winning the White House, according to a poll released on Thursday.

Obama was supported by 46 percent and McCain by 45 percent of 841 likely voters surveyed from October 5-21, as U.S. financial turmoil deepened, according to the poll commissioned by the nonpartisan Center for Rural Strategies in Whitesburg, Kentucky.

Don't confuse Sunshine with proof. She can feel what other people are thinking.

These Republicans never stop, every Election they bring out the charges VOTER FRAUD, VOTER FRAUD, VOTER FRAUD. They do this so that they hope that all the attention will keep the spotlight away from theM as they do what they can to surpress the Democratic vote.

Since the elections of 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 the Bush Administration, has convicted 18 people for voting ILLEGALLY!!!!!!! This out of nearly 100,000,000 PLUS votes cast, WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE REPUBLICANS TALKING ABOUT.......

As a Kentuckian, I'd like to offer everyone my apologies for the wearer of this shirt. We don't all think this way.

CBOB,

I live in Lexington. Where are you?

I'm about 70 miles west of you, Eberly, in a little town between Shively and St. Matthews. But I was just in your fair city donating money to the good people at Keeneland. The bourbon was swell, the weather was fine, the horses were feisty, the ladies in silk dresses were unfreakingbelievable. Tip o' the hat.

One young lady, drunk to the gills, literally asked me where she was. I said, "Lexington, Ky."
She said, "No, I mean, what racing thing?"
I said, "You mean, which track?" I said, "Aqualung."
I don't think she got it.

They weren't all that drunk, but it was College Day, and all the cool kids were there in their best duds. Lord almighty.

Obama's October surprise: Colin Powell, $150 millions.... high polls, CBS/NYT coronation.....

McCain's November surprise: he becomes the 44th President.

Good News!

Does TakeItEZ have a concession speech ready or will he spout his bullshit when the cold ocean waters close over the poopdeck of his sinking ship? herm

From The New York Times

Polls Show Obama Gaining Among Bush Voters

Senator Barack Obama is showing surprising strength among portions of the political coalition that returned George W. Bush to the White House four years ago, a cross section of support that, if it continues through Election Day, would exceed that of Bill Clinton in 1992, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News polls.

Underscoring his increasing strength in the final phase of the campaign, Mr. Obama led Mr. McCain among groups that voted for President Bush four years ago: those with incomes greater than $50,000 a year; married women; suburbanites and white Catholics. He is also competitive among white men, a group that has not voted for a Democrat over a Republican since 1972, when pollsters began surveying people after they voted.

Of potential concern for Mr. Obama's strategists, however, a third of voters surveyed say they know someone who does not support Mr. Obama because he is black.

There's quite a bit more detailed information in the article.

Election will be done by 6 pm.

Just as the media reports have been selective and biased in favor of Obama, the polls too are slanted to favor Obama. SCARECROW POLLS. (NEWSMAX.com)

McCain will win the White House and become the 44th.

newsmax is a really poor source. It's a completely biased website that makes FNC look fair.

McCain is running an erratic campaign, bounces all over the place with no real focus, just noise. He can't seem to compete on Obama's level. If he became president do you think he will run the country the same way. SCARY!

But at least McCain can produce a birth cert....

"But at least McCain can produce a birth cert...."

Really?

But at least McCain can produce a birth cert....

#85 | Posted by notmoretax at 2008-10-24 04:57 PM

I am quite certain he can "produce" one.

In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake."

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

I will take some of that money too Ozarky!

Unfortunately, they are about the only ones who think so in Ohio:

RCP Average 10/16 - 10/22-- 50.0 43.4 Obama +6.6

and 4 out of 6 major polls in Florida put Obama ahead:

RCP Average 10/16 - 10/22 --47.8 45.6 Obama +2.2

Fortunately, many polls have been wrong before --- and the biased ones may be more susceptible.

In fact, didn't McMaverick pull out of Wisconsin thinking unwinnable?
