That should be done during the primaries. No incumbant should be voted for in the primaries. However, in the general election, you have to go with the person whose party best reflects your views.

It is apparent that as the campaign enters the final, stressful week(s), McCain is tiring quickly and as a result, becomes confused more easily. Now, if we could believe that crises in our government would only occur when the President is well-rested that would not be a problem but as we all know, world or national crises do not respect our need for sleep. We absolutely do NOT need a man at the helm who gets confused and foggy when he doesn't get his afternoon nap. And we sure as all H do not need a man at the helm who starts to Sundown at some point during his presidency. In 2000, I was already tired of John McCain. In two weeks, I'll never have to turn on the TV again and worry about him being on it.

That said, Joe Biden is much, much worse. And the flipfloppery exhibited by Obama thus far has just shown him to be a consummate politician with no real principles whatsoever. One of his advisors on CNBC last night predicted no real change in tax policy for the first couple of years of his presidency, until "the economy settles down".

McCain has principles, but too many of them are the wrong ones. Obama has none. This has worked out alright in the past, during the Clinton Administration. Time will tell.
