That means he has to win PA and OH for sure and either FL, VA or NC.

That is going to be a tough task. PA is starting to look like a run away, and I don't think the McCain camp has that many boots - or at least as many as Obama - on the ground to drive the vote. Moreover, the NC early turn out has been heavy in favor of the dems. Although I think it is unlikely, we may see a landslide in the electoral college.

He is down 10-14% in PA. That is a big deficit to make up in two weeks.

Tax I hope you are right. This country just cannot stand another four years of neocon mismanagement.

I think it would be more accurate to say that NM, IA AND CO are abandoning McBush.

Everytime I think of McSame, I think of the movie Amadeus, where Salieri is gone obssessive crazy with his guilt for helping kill mozart.

Only McSame is gonna be going crazy about how Bush ruined all his crowning aspirations.

I read the analogy somewhere that McCain trying to win PA would be like Obama going in and trying to win TX at this point. I think that is a stretch, but if McCain is really pulling out of these states because his polls are showing he can't win, then he is going to have to pull out a miracle in PA.

What a surrender monkey this McCain guy is! Does he have French ancestry?

***** McCain is abanonding NM, IA, CO *****

.......Takitez is not praying hard enough.......

.......either that or God hates Takitez......

.......like he hates faggots (sorry dumpling ) and libruls....

Texas, Utah, Alaska. Let the good guys give up there, McC can have them. herm

God doesn't hate Takeitez, he just wishes he would take it easy.

Is Mccadaver obsessing on PA, in spite of not standing a snow-ball's chance in hell, simply to prove to those who said he should have picked Tom Ridge (21 EVs)instead of caribou barbie and her 3 EVs (not that the talibaptists who own the GOP would have let him pick a pro-choicer)wrong?

Or does he see PA as a great white whale?

Either way, too crazy to be President....

Winning PA is only a small part of the hill McHate has to climb. He has to run the table on all the battleground states such as FL, OH, MO, NV, NC. And then he has to also grab either Colorado or Virginia.

He has no more states to lose or pull out of...none. This is the final play in his playbook!

The Winky and Blinky Show is coming to an end!

this AM McCain drew 6,000 people to his rally in Florida
the PM Obama drew 50,000 people to his rally in Florida

nice comparison!

I am either batshiat crazy thinking McCain will probably still win or the kool aid is too good to give up!

See you in 2 weeks for the dinner consisting of crow! We'll see who's dining on it.

Kirk-
You're batshit crazy for drinking the kool-aid that makes you want McCain/Palin to actually win, and govern.

It give me the chills.

You're batshit crazy for drinking the kool-aid that makes you want McCain/Palin to actually win, and govern.

Translation: Anybody who disagrees with me about anything, ever, is an idiot.

JeffJ

No, I think he means you are batshit crazy if you want McCain/Palin to win.

Gee, I'm supposed to not hold my nose to what CNN, CBS, NYT, etc vomits day by day.

Joe the plumber is worth $50 millions of ads.

Looks like Obama has thrown plenty money without much returns in Florida, W Virginia, and Ohio.

Rendell is feeling a little insecure and is calling Obama to come often to PA.

MO still neck and neck: McCain v ACORN.

I believe in miracles. Hehehehe......

TAKITEZ gets his poll numbers from WorldNutDaily
hey try a real poll outfit, hold you mouse over each state to see data (don't math yours):
www.electoral-vote.com

you can do the same at www.pollster.com

sorry to make you cry!

Like any liberal liar, ONNA is lying about my poll source.

THE POLL: Suffolk University presidential poll of 600 likely Missouri voters (11 electoral votes).

THE NUMBERS: John McCain 45 percent, Barack Obama 44 percent.

OF INTEREST: Of the Obama supporters, 14 percent said a factor in their position was a desire to vote against President Bush, while 6 percent said their vote was against McCain. About 21 percent of McCain's supporters said a factor in their stance was the desire to vote against Obama, while 4 percent said it was a vote for vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

DETAILS: The poll was conducted Oct. 16-19. It involved telephone interviews with 600 likely voters in Missouri, with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percentage points

You know anyone and I do mean ANYONE who votes for McCalamity after He gives the proverbial Fuck You to those States needs their heads examined by a team of the BEST Head Shrinkers around. I would suggest Belleveu but I am sure even THEY are swamped at this late stage of the game. Thank God gave Me enough brain cells that I am not TOTALLY brain dead.

Larry

There are many long time dems who "support" obama because he's a dem.but will not vote for him because he's black..

If McCain is actually giving up on these states you can bet your ass he's kicking himself in the nuts for not picking Tom Ridge over SARAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!! right about now. The convention wouldn't have been near as flashy, but he might have more than a snowball's chance in hell of coming back in PA.

Led,

If that is the case the democrat party doesn't need those voters, they are not worth supporting.

You see, this is about representing the people, and I wouldn't want any of the representatives representing these people.

mccain is giving up on these states because he knows already that it is not worth his money.

I've little doubt Phyllis Diller (www.extrememortman.com) would've been a better choice for McCain than Sarah Palin.

"mccain is giving up on these states because he knows already that it is not worth his money."

Perhaps.

Or maybe he knows Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus are about to submit Sarah's latest bling-bling bills.

Money, you hit the nail on the head- what does Obama represent?? I did a side by side comparison with the legislation that Obama has written, co-writting or supported and dito with McCain. I recommend that you do it too. Its a real education.
I hear all the time that McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time, Obama did not vote yes or no 80% of the time. Sounds to me like he's afraid to take a stand. That makes me feel real secure at a time when our nation faces a clear and present danger from without and from within. Islam wants to make us go away, we are aimed at a head on collision with Russia,N. Korea is a ticking time bomb. I'd like someone at the helm who knows what they are doing and can make a decision with out waiting to see if it's going to be popular.

Led,

You can make believe anything you want, I will not try to convince anyone who is so closed minded as to not see the real truth.

As for any country trying to make us go away, you're just being delusional. We are in no danger what so ever other than from our own idiocy. Not one terrorist will take over our country, not one other country will even think of attacking us and the fact you seemed to harbor such emotions as such proves you lack of realistic understanding.

Looks like McCain's only hope is vote tampering and SCOTUS. It certainly worked for Bush. All he had to do was endure a few tomatoes and eggs, which were never shown on television anyway.

Money; So in other words your not going to do the research. Your gonna lap up the bullcrap and blindly follow the new messiah. I'm certainly glad to know that the world is at last at peace.
By the way Islam is not a country and it IS comitted to our destruction.Terrorists don't want to take anything over they just want to destroy it. Russia however is a country with a loose canon, KGB executive for a leader who wants to restore the old Soviet Union back to it's former glory! Oh ya, North Korea, lead by a lunatic and playing with nucs. I guess I am just delusional.
If you recover from cranal-rectal inversion, you too may become delusional.

Obama did not vote yes or no 80% of the time.

Complete bullshit.

He voted "present" 129 times out of over 4000 votes in the Illinois Senate.

In the U.S. Senate, McCain's voted half as often as Obama.

You didn't do any analysis. Do you take people to be that stupid that you could post such garbage and not be called on it?

You aren't going to vote for Obama. Fine. Just don't shoot yourself and your argument by making stuff up.

ONNA is lying about my poll source.

Money; So in other words your not going to do the research. Your gonna lap up the bullcrap and blindly follow the new messiah. I'm certainly glad to know that the world is at last at peace.

Apparently you don't do your homework, just read YAV's post #34 and you will get a little of what it is like by not doing your homework. Just too stupid to realize your own idiocy.

If you actually where here long enough to understand some of us who post here, we are quite up on our homework. I just could tell your ignorance was blindly purposefull and didn't feel that my time should be wasted on such a idiot hack.

How's that no fly list of terrorist doing, have we arrested them all yet? After all, they are too dangerous to allow flying with the public so I would imagine they should be arrested.

Led,

You have established you are not voting for Obama, so stop trying to tell us what is wrong with Obama and tell us why mccain is better.

That's something you republicans can't seemed to do and I have a feeling it is done because it won't hold water.

So you really arn't going to do the research.

Lets see McCain has been in the Senate for how long??? And Obama has been there 3 years and McCain has voted half as many times?? You are naive and that is far more dangerous than stupidity..

Ok, all the bullshit aside. What are Obama's credentials that qualify him to be President? Other than he is a native born American over 35 years old. I'll discount the allegations he's not native born.

Ok, all the bullshit aside.

So now we have established your admittance that all your posting is bull shit.

Again, I am not interested in what is wrong with Obama, I am interested in what is right in mccain.

Apparently I needed to say this a second time.

Tell me why mccain is the one I should choose. Tell me why I should believe in mccain.

Again, this will fall on deaf ears because you just can't prove it.

Lets see McCain has been in the Senate for how long???

Yes, how long? And what has he done to deserve my thinking he is presidencial?

Your moral and rational reasoning seems to be lacking in intellect and I am looking for information that gives a good quality outlook of why mccain should be president.

What does mccain do to lead me he is interested in the majority of the PEOPLE of the USA?

What policies have mccain moved that shows he is truely interested in the PEOPLE of the USA?

Led,

What has mccain done that would suggest that my children will be better off in our country's future than what he has supported from his past?

You seemed to think you have done research but are really slow in parting with that good mccain information.

Well the Terrorist want McAlzheimer's to win:
Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.
The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said. "Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush."
"If al-Qaida carries out a big operation against American interests," the message said, "this act will be support of McCain because it will push the Americans deliberately to vote for McCain so that he takes revenge for them against al-Qaida. Al-Qaida then will succeed in exhausting America till its last year in it."

You seemed to think you have done research but are really slow in parting with that good mccain information.

He was a POW. And he's married to a cunt (his words). He's a fine man in the tradition of Bush/Cheney.

And he picked an airhead talibaptist, who has ethics issues, for his running mate.

Are there really people in this country that are so ignorant as to even suggest this country would be well served by 4 more years of the Bush trainwreck?

Oh, yes let's all rush down and vote for this clown.

Get ready for the voter registration fraud whining to begin about 2 a.m. on November 5.

Well the Terrorist want McAlzheimer's to win:

Well, if you were living in a mud hut or cave in pakistan, would you want the guy who promised to blow your ass up elected, or the guy who promised to follow you through the gates of hell, but only if you actually show up at the gates of hell before 9 P.M. Monday through Thursday and before 5 P.M. Friday? and only if the gates of hell weren't actually in pakistan?

"Looks like McCain's only hope is vote tampering and SCOTUS."

I don't think they'd touch that tar baby.

Tell me that any rational, thinking-therefore-existing human being is NOT absolutely horrified by the spectre of this dangerously senile psychotic and his utterly clueless girl friend actually WINNING next month. Polls and trash talk and all sorts of good natured kidding banter aside, would anyone really WANT to kiss his/her ass goodbye with four more years of Bush policies? herm

McCain betting everything on PA is just like how he has run his campaign and his life. Bet on a high risk win big or go home scenario. Look at Palin and the "Campaign Break". He would rather focus on an upset victory in PA than hard fights in several other smaller states.

We are seeing the final act of "Ol' Double Down McCain"

McQuitter and "the Spitter" '08.

Money war is correct!

We are in no danger what so ever other than from our own idiocy. - That is very true. And after consulting the polls, I am convinced we have a lot to fear from our own idiocy. Look who is leading? Why? Because he is going to make the government give us stuff...and soak the "rich". This is precisely why the Founders NEVER wanted the people to vote for president. They also did not let people who did not own property vote. That way people voting had a stake in the outcome, as opposed to trying to put a stake through the hearts of someone else.

Not one terrorist will take over our country. - He will not have to take over, it will be handed over to him...by a vote of the people.

Based on the actions of the Osama crowd, and in the spirit of their jeering of Bush after his victory in 2000 and 2004, I think McCain's slogan should be "Cheated not defeated" on November 5. We can simply nick name Osama "Acorn" or call him the "nutty president"....Then the Republicans need to oil up the machine and return the favor the dems did to Bush for the last eight years. If possible, I would like to suggest doubling the efforts, as I don't want to endure eight years of change. I don't think the country can afford it.

Still can't get over that whole "War Between the States" can ya?

Based on the actions of the Osama crowd
Posted by A_Citizen

Ya missed it, they endorsed McCain.

re: This is precisely why the Founders NEVER wanted the people to vote for president. They also did not let people who did not own property vote. That way people voting had a stake in the outcome, as opposed to trying to put a stake through the hearts of someone else.

Um...since then, they've asked us non-property-ownin' types to die a lot on command from the state, and blood is at least as thick as soil. (We all have a stake in the outcome)

McCain's website still presents the story about Hamas endorsing Obama. A bit of a tough turn for McCain who said:

"I think it is very clear who Hamas wants to be the next president of the United States...I think that the people should understand that I will be Hamas' worst nightmare.

"I never expect for the leader of Hamas...to say that he wants me as president of the United States. I think it is very clear...why they would not want me to be president of the United States, so if Senator Obama is favored by Hamas, I think people can make judgments accordingly."

How about Al Qaeda, John?

Oops.

Today, on a conference call, the McCain campaign said that the endorsement by Al Qaeda of John McCain for President means they really want Obama to win. Reverse psychology, I suppose.

Very twisted logic. On one hand, an endorsement means they mean it, on the other hand it means the opposite.

I am going to repost on the correct thread. I apologize.

BetelG,

Fine. How about property owner OR have military service as a requirement for voting. You are incorrect about "everyone having a stake" in this. People who pay no taxes or who live off the government tit only have a stake in so much as they are voting to take something from me and to have it given to them. The Founders knew long ago that such a scheme could not endure.

The government is like a big company. In the corporate world, you have to be a stock holder to get to vote. If you don't own stock, you share none of the risks and get none of the rewards that come about as a result of the company's actions. Those are the people who have a stake. People who do not share the risks should not vote.
