Orlando city officials estimated a total of 50,000 inside and outside the event.

That corridor up near Orlando is where Bush won FL last time. This kind of rally bodes well for his chances here.

Well if the McCain camp was estimating this crowd they would say 1,500,000 attended the rally.

That's only because those geeks came to watch a free concert with Nena performing "99 Luftballons." Well, Nena plus the beer and bratwurst. I mean, who could resist that? I know I couldn't. ~Vermin

Obama has many, many times the ground game McCain has. Hardly a door will be missed by a canvasser with information on where to vote. That personal touch makes a big impact.
Then there's the massive amounts of money to work with....
On a related note, I was chatting with TWINPAC the other night and he's driving all the way from West Virginia to Florida to get his vote cast in his home district. That's dedication.

CORKY
Hillary was awesome at the rally. I watched it on C-SPAN. She wss a powerful speaker on his behalf.
ABC News did a joint interview with them backstage. Did you catch it? Looks like they were both having a good time, and all the axes have been buried. She's a real asset for him on the trail.
Tell ya what, if Obama loses and she runs in 2012, she'll get every bit of support I gave Obama this time in time and $'s.
Do you know how many more events she'll be doing for him?

I don't know, AU. Bubba was in Nevada for him.

Apparently the press was surprised to see Obama and Hil get off the plane together. Then, there was Obama asking the press how much money they would give him to put on the Mickey Mouse ears he was holding.
Not that they would have been able to tell the difference.....

He does have some big ears ... in his own words.
Don't rain on my Hillary praise ...

I can't see that vid of their first interview together and not think what a powerful ticket that would have been.

OMG! You are still whining about Hillary not be VP!
I am sure that 30 years from now you'll still be whining, like Liberals still do about the fired air traffic controlers.

OMG! You are still whining about air traffic controllers from 30 years ago!?
But, I guess if your member is only 2.59" (rounded off to your advantage) you do need other things to occupy your mind.

This reminds me of what my wise old grandpa told me. 'Son, if you've only got a 2.59" member, don't get fat.'

I'll bet you didn't know the ATCs, after their Union was busted, found the need to form...
...a Union.

Reagan busted up their union after they endorsed him for President - the first time they'd ever done it.
When will workers learn never to trust Republicans?

Scabs formed their own union?
That's irony.

"Scabs formed their own union? That's irony."
Here's a line never uttered since the dawn of time:
Gee, they treat us GREAT here...let's form a Union!
