Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Sarah Palin said that if she had her way, the McCain campaign and the Republican National Committee would not be flooding battleground states with automated phone calls tying Barack Obama to former radical William Ayers. "If I called all the shots, and if I could wave a magic wand, I would be sitting at a kitchen table with more and more Americans, talking to them about our plan to get the economy back on track and winning the war, and not having to rely on the old conventional ways of campaigning that includes those robocalls."

The moosellini mooseiah is gonna be sent back to mooseville.
Stick a fork in her-she's done.

May as get that big "L" tattooed on her forehead while she's at it....

The Wasilla Wonder and Fisrt Stud already have there one way tickets for Alaska bought for November 5th. Good riddens to bad rusbish to quote Lawrence Welch.

"If I called all the shots, and if I could wave a magic wand," Palin said, "I would be sitting at a kitchen table with more and more Americans, talking to them about our plan to get the economy back on track and winning the war, and not having to rely on the old conventional ways of campaigning that includes those robocalls, and includes spending so much money on the television ads that, I think, is kind of draining out there in terms of Americans' attention span.

Yup. You bethca. Now do us all a favor, Sarah, and fuck off.

May as get that big "L" tattooed on her forehead while she's at it....

Rightly so. She is as much to blame if McAncient loses as anything he has done. Maybe moreso.

I suspect McSame lost Powell's endorsement due to Mooseilline being his VP.

"If I called all the shots"
hint wink
when mccain dies.

"But he (Powell) said McCain's choices in the last few weeks especially his selection of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his vice presidential running mate had raised questions in his mind about McCain's judgment."

Enough said.

......she's started her campaign for 2016......

No robocalls? How about a MOOSE CALL!

Obama is not ready to lead and so his supporters had to hide him behind the skirt of Palin, who is seeking only for veep. If at all, Obama is ready for veep.

McCain is ready to lead from day one.

mccain is ready to sink the ship
and crash the jet on day one

Maybe I'm too cynical about Palin, but it feels to me like she's establishing some distance from McCain before the election, hoping that the stink of defeat won't stick to her afterward. Lieberman did the same thing to Gore in the recount mess.

would you call Palin a "back stabber" or is it "sack babber", is McCain sorry or embarrased or both?

Obama is hiding behind Palin.

I have always wondered just who the 20%ers were that were deluded enough to say Bushie is doing a heckuva job. I even thought these people might not exist and are only an urban legend.

Thank you Takeitz for showing me otherwise.

Bad news for McCrater.

Note to self:

Hang crucifix on front door and lay in some garlic.

Sarah, if you're reading this, go ahead and say it ----

"John McCain is ready to lead."

"Obama is not ready to be President and so he is hiding under my shadow. The liberals are saying (arguing) that because Sarah is not ready to be President, Obama must be elected."

Say it and let the voters know. Well they know already but it still must be articulated.

**** Say it and let the voters know.

......she has already said she is willing to throw McCain under the bus for her own greedy future ambitions....

......how much more Republican can she get then that.??.....

She would really like to be "calling all the shots".

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Sarah, if you're reading this. . .

What a sad, pathetic little post that is.

TAKITEZ knows more than Colin Powell.
Riiight.

Sitdown, you may have a point. McCain may win and Palin may play a very visible role. What if she becomes the first female veep and later President?

As for Obama, it is now or never --- because in 2016 a man of Irish descent will emerge to win the White House with Kennedy-like inspiration.

McCain has Robocop on his side?

Takitez is a good example of how Those People are starting to get seriously unhinged as the election nears.

They are looking for another Ayers or Wright, but all they can find is that hideous empty chair supposedly in the Oval Office on that pathetic TV commercial. All they have left is that Obama lacks experience of crisis.

I will take that over Republican experience of crisis over the last eight years any time, thank you very much for the opportunity.

... was it not Piglin who repeatedly tried tying Barack Obama to former radical William Ayers? Now she want's to "wave her wand"? She should try using her broom and fly the F^ck away.

As ridiculous as she sounds sometimes one should keep in mind that she has done well for Alaskans, by keeping Oil Companies subserviant to Government. She ran successfully exposing and cleaning up fraud. This quality is virtually extinct in politicians.

Yeah, SHE wants to make those calls herself!

McCain is ready to lead from day one.

Get real!! McLaim is a bitter ol' squid that hasn't gotten over losing every war he has fought starting with admiral daddy, Vietnam and that frat boy cheerleader. It shows up in everything he does... he can't even lead a campaign!!!

"In regard to the financial crisis, which Powell called the candidates' "final exam," Powell said McCain appeared unsteady in dealing with it, while Obama had excelled in handling the situation.

"Obama displayed a steadiness, an intellectual curiosity, a depth of knowledge," Powell said."

It seems Powell thinks Obama is ready to lead and McCain is past it. I'd have to agree with you Mr. Powell (never thought I'd say that).

Yeah, SHE wants to make those calls herself!

More like ...she wants to be President by herself.

Crabby Appleton McCain is gunna bend old Sarah over a table for this and teach her a insubordination lesson.

If he can remember where his Viagara is.

I wonder if he ever found Mr. Puddles?

Anyone considered that Sarah is angling for a spot in the Obama cabinet? herm

"Like she's establishing some distance from McCain"

or/and trying to soften the Cheney-in-your-face image that she has been projecting.

Says a lot about Republicanism that they can picture her as vice, let alone president.

McCain wants to be the President and be responsible for this whole country and he can't even keep his own "house" in order? That doesn't look too good does it?

*** Sarah, if you're reading this, go ahead and say it ----...... Posted by takitez ****

......Sarah does not read...remember the Couric interview ??.......

.......you will just have to send the message telepathically...like you do with Pamela Lee Anderson from the bathroom......

"If I called all the shots, and if I could wave a magic wand, I would be sitting at a kitchen table with more and more Americans, talking to them about our plan to get the economy back on track and winning the war, and not having to rely on the old conventional ways of campaigning that includes those robocalls."

This is part of the reason why she was cloistered for so long. I believe that there is much about the McCain campaign that she is in disagreement with. During the time that she was cloistered, she was being indoctrinate into McCain's way of thinking. It looks as if the indoctrination is wearing out.

......Sarah does not read...remember the Couric interview ??.......

Yes she does, she reads "everything".

Let's see. Sarah Palin does not like McCain using robocalls. She does not like Obama using robocalls. She does not like robocalls at all. That is the same opinion of most of the country.
If you asked Obama, he would say he does not like robocalls either. Obama is spending millions on robocalls even though he says he doesn't like them.

Palin thinks it is better to articulate your views directly to voters.

Wow what a crazy lady!

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

Ring........John: "Hello Sarah, John"
Sarah: Hangs up.

No wonder she is annoyed.

What a sad, pathetic little post that is.

You must stop talking to yourself Doc.

Most people would rather see Sarah Palin in Playboy magazine than in the White House.

Sad campaign.

"Sad campaign."

Yes it is sad. Republican VP candidate's executive experience is governor of a small state.

Democrat Prez candidate's experience is community organizer and talking someone into writing a book for him.

Oh and then there is Biden whose claim to fame is that he says fewer stupid things since he had his brain surgery than before.

"Oh and then there is Biden whose claim to fame is that he says fewer stupid things since he had his brain surgery than before."

You're just jealous because McThusaleh and Caribou Barbie obviously haven't had any brain surgery yet.

I call it surgification.

"Palin Opposes McCain's Use of Robocalls"

Of course she does...she wants to make all those attacks herself. She seems to be very proud of herself up at that lectern, inciting all that hysteria...

"You betcha!!"

To me, seems like more good cop / bad cop. Except this time, the VP gets to be the good cop.

Fact is, John has been getting hammered on this issue all weekend long, even by those in the media who should be favoring him. Chris Wallace this weekend stopped just short of calling him a liar after calling out John on his statement about not doing exactly what hes doing now.

So yeah either shes trying to put some distance in there for the expected loss, or shes using this moment to showcase her "decision" making to try and attone for that idea that she couldn't be president.

Either way, John is doing himself no favors.

The problem is... Palin is doing her own robocalls in her own voice and name. Just more lies. Do something while saying something exactly the oposit. No chance in the days of the internet, bloggers and You Tube that anybody will catch you at it. We're all stupid. Ya Betcha

So much fun reading the left wing attacks upon Sarah Palin, who has more brains than all of you put together. After all, you are all voting for our Commie buddy NOBama... which prove that you all share that one single brain cell... and it is getting very worn out...

Now we have Joe Biden telling you sheeple that if NOBama is elected, heaven forbid, the USA will be attacked within six months.

Enjoy... and stay away from all tall buildings, arenas and malls for at least six months after the election if "The Messiah" is elected... since he may be able to raise himself from the grave but you won't be able to....

"War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength"

- McCain/Palin '08

The truth is not far from what I've reproduced above.

The McCain/Palin campaign seems not only willing but quite happily eager to spout the same lies and/or scurrilous rumors week after week in return for infinitesimal political gain.

"Country First", indeed!

Yet these two keep repeating the same falsehoods over and over again, despite the fact these talking points have been repeatedly refuted months ago - ie association with Bill Ayers, Obama will raise taxes, "Obama = socialist" etc.

Such DISrespect for the truth is a cynical move against the electorate as a whole, and it's all McCain/Palin have left in their playbook.

McCain/Palin think yOo iz sToOpid!1!!

1) Sarah Palin isn't "off the reservation". She's saying what the campaign has told her to say.

2) It's just a way to diminish and dismiss Obama's remarkable fund-raising success as if it were a bad thing.

3) As for wanting to sit down with America at the kitchen table and talk to us, there's this thing-a-ma-jiggy called the T V. Stick the salt & pepper on the table along with a sugar bowl and do another televised interview. No walking around, this time.

Actually, he wanted restroom directions

At a debate between Democrat James Carville and Republican Karl Rove in the city, the New York Post said, the moderator asked 200 Republicans in the room how many were comfortable with Palin becoming president.

"One man raised his hand."
