Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Sarah Palin's a much better debater than people might expect, according to Andrew Halcro, an Alaskan politician who debated her in the 2006 governor's race. "No matter how knowledgeable her opponents were on the issues, it didn't matter," Halcro told BBC News. "She has an amazing ability to turn a 45-second answer into a folksy story ... she's never been forced to know the issues."

Dear Sarah,

Will Jesus be upset that I am voting for a Muslim? will I burn in HELL?

Earth only 6000 years old. Adam had a pet T-Rex that he played catch with? and you want access to the red button...

"She has an amazing ability to turn a 45-second answer into a folksy story..."

Ya know, that reminds me of the time I was using the power of my office to get a workman's comp claim denied after it was approved...

I sure hope she tells that one!

Dear Sarah,

Will Jesus be upset that I am voting for a Muslim? will I burn in HELL?

Dear aunt social,
Yes you will.
Love and kisses,
Sarah.

Just because this putz lost doesn't make "Sarah" formidible; just makes him a dunce.

Yeah, people talk about issues and facts, while Palin relates "down home" anecdotes and looks cute. Just what Americans are looking for...

Fuck her; I hope she crashes and burns tomorrow night. Put Caribou Barbie out of (our) misery.

Fortunately for lipshitz there is no hell, except maybe being trapped in that little bitty excuse for a brain of his.

" I hope she crashes and burns tomorrow night."

Not me. With Palin, McCain is certain to lose. A 'crash and burn' might cause them to replace her with someone competent.

Biden won't know how to handle her and will probably come out looking like a chauvanistic asshole.

""down home" anecdotes and looks cute. Just what Americans are looking for..."

Worked for Reagan.
At least 98% of Americans are morons; That's the fraction who voted for a Yalie frat-rat with a two-digit IQ in the last election.

"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

H. L. Mencken

Biden will say way too much and will inevitably make some comment about her good looks that will come off creepy and perverted.

I feel bad for Biden. He's got it tougher than Palin as far as I'm concerned.

If she shows some cleavage, it's all over.

Use a sock.

This is sexist!!!

If Palin were a man, first of all, she'd have never been chosen to begin with and, secondly, there would be no talk at all about Biden being a "bully."

A bully? WTF is that all about anyway?

Joe, creepy and perverted like McCain and his rubbing the Palins?

If Palin were a man, first of all, she'd have never been chosen to begin with and, secondly, there would be no talk at all about Biden being a "bully."

Pretty much. Just like if Barack were white we wouldn't be talking about him until 2012.

From what I have read about her performance in the Alaska debates all her answers were vague. I expect to hear "vague" to explain the majority of her answers on Thursday. She will repeat talking points, even if they don't go with the question. Just look at the Couric interview.

Just like if Barack were white we wouldn't be talking about him until 2012.

101-except for the whole primaries thing. Palin parachuted in on the wings of the evangelicals who don't like McSame, regardless of his recent falwell ass kissing.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall at the Romney, Huckabee or Guliani households when McCadaver announced her .

A lot is riding on this debate and her track record up to now isn't, let's say, stellar. I think as long as she doesn't completely implode like the couric interview, she will walk away the winner. Biden has a lot to lose if he doesn't crush her, gently of course.

Biden won't know how to handle her and will probably come out looking like a chauvanistic asshole.

My solution for Sarah to win the debate --

All Sarah Palin needs to do to win the debate is use the tactic women have used since the beginning of time -- tears.

Even if Biden is being a total gentleman (which I'm sure he will be) when Sarah gets asked the same question which Biden has already expertly answered and she doesn't know the answer herself she should do the following:

Look down at the floor

Let her lipsticked lips quiver a little bit

look up at the audience and then over at Biden, blink her eyes rapidly for a few seconds like she's holding back tears and then look back down at the floor again

Look back up and say to the camera "I'll give the best answer I can. I'm so very nervous right now."

Then stammer through her answer but don't make it too long -- the less she says the less she can say wrong.

Then Palin's next, and ((( crowning moment ))), should be --

Looking directly into the camera say to the audience (in a non-perky, soft voice):

"I know I may not have all the answers at the tip of my tongue but I promise to try my hardest to learn as much as I can as fast as I can. And should John McCain be elected President, I will surround myself with the best and the brightest advisors so the American people can rest assured I will have the best wisdom and advice available for any decisions I may make."

Then she should let her eyes well up with tears and give the audience a sad, kind of half smile.

To McCain's campaign -- send me my $10,000 "advisor's check" to:
CalifChris, c/o Rcade at DR. lol

Oh my Spaghetti Monster!

Sarah is the Church Lady!

i447.photobucket.com

However you slice it, Sarah Palin is going to win in this manner....

She will win the contempt of the liberal elite and the hearts of the common folks.

the problem is the expectation game

everyone is expecting her to do so terrible that if she completes a sentance or two that are reasonably grammatically correct she will be considered the winner.

Biden won't know how to handle her and will probably come out looking like a chauvanistic asshole.

#8 | Posted by taxman at 2008-10-01 03:42 PM

spoken like a true puss.

Use a sock.

Will I get a hairy Palin?

Chris-she could also look off stage and call out "daddy, help me" so John can come in and finish the debate for her, after calling Biden a "cad" and a contemptable yankee for "belittling this very flower of alaskan womanhood."

Maybe offer to duel him at noon on Friday.

If she shows some cleavage, it's all over.

Just fer you, Lee.

#14 | Posted by 101Chairborne at 2008-10-01 03:47 PM |

no douchebag, you would be voting for him now.

How she does in this debate could likely depend upon the moderator's questions--if she's asked for specifics and/or examples, like she was in the Couric interview, she's sunk.

Then again, if Biden's asked for specifics or examples, he might just break out something like how Jimmy Carter was responsible for the flying car.

I'm afraid the controversy about the moderator is going to give Palin a pass if she does poorly and if she does well it may be because the moderator is afraid to ask her tough questions out of fear of being accused of being biased. I think a different moderator should be appointed.

LOL!

Unfortunately, he'll be dealing with the very double standard he supports in his legislation like the VAWA.
Women say they want equality, but actually want special treatment. If Biden treats her like any male opponent, he'll be chauvanistic and sexist. If he handles her with kid gloves, he does himself and us a disservice, and will be labeled as a wimp.

I'm really hoping he puts gender blinders on and goes for the throat, and that he calls her out on any quaint little stories.

Actually, making her cry would be awesome.

Sarcasm isn't one of your strong points is it?

The worry here should not be able about whether or not Sarah Palin beocmes vice president.

The worry should be about the mass mentality and decision making of a great segment of people here in America that see her, after watching her in interviews and debates deal logically and maturely with the "unknown" (i.e. the unpreparable future event) as someone with the intellectual capacity to step in as a functionable and confidence-inspiring leader just in case McCain dies.

It is this mass mentality and decision making that will ruin the country, not Sarah Palin.

We have seen, historically, in our great nation the ability to rise above individual incompetence at a vice presidential and even presidential level. However, the dominance of a mass mentality that sees no issue in bringing future generations of the same type we have seen in Bush and now Palin to the highest offices in the nation is what is disturbing, because such dysfunction in selection is the fundamental enemy of a successful democracy, which adheres to the rule of law and the constitution, but more importantly, relies on the basic premise that decisions of the majority of people are truly the best reasoned and most thought out we have to offer. If that goes belly up, we are toast.

It can be said that if we lose our freedom and liberty, if we truly lose our spirit and what makes us unique and proud to be "American", it won't be the result of any terrorist attack or prolongued economic downturn.

It will because we had a series of national referendums and consistently voted over the course of multiple election cycles for America to be that way.

101-except for the whole primaries thing. Palin parachuted in on the wings of the evangelicals who don't like McSame, regardless of his recent falwell ass kissing.

For once you're correct loser. The whole Primary thing where 95% of blacks voted for Obama over Hillary. Had Obama been white he would have never made it to the top 5 Dem candidates with 1.5 years of Seneate experience. Hillary would be the Dem nominee.

I'm glad somebody as stupid as you gets it.

Too bad, huh Snark_Needledick? If they were both Black, we'd have the Step and Fetch-it ticket.

Wasilla Is Meth Capital Of Alaska, Of CourseLike Sarah Palin said last night, mayors have Actual Responsibilities, unlike community organizers who just help poor people stay alive after their steel plant jobs are outsourced. And Sarah Palin's responsibilities included funding "the meth capitol of Alaska," as Alaskan State Troopers call the Wasilla region: "When authorities surrounded a converted bus housing a meth operation in Big Lake in January, a 13-year-old boy who answered the door bragged that his mom cooked the best meth in the valley, according to the troopers." See? In Alaska, "Hockey Mom" is code for "Arctic Meth Princess."

when palin inevitably brings up her mayoral experience joe b should mention this little tidbit

Looks like the bloom is off the moose stew-

Adding to McCain's woes, just 25 percent of likely voters say Palin has the right experience to be president if needed, a huge drop from 41 percent in the previous poll last month. She posted an enormous loss in confidence among Republicans; three in four had called her experienced enough before, but not even half say that now.

That is one mixed up metaphor.

Palin will win the contempt of the liberal elite and the hearts of the common folks.

Evidence....

In Ohio today one homeless said he voted for McCain because he feels Sarah understands the ordinary folks.

"Palin will win the contempt of the liberal elite and the hearts of the common folks. In Ohio today one homeless said he voted for McCain because he feels Sarah understands the ordinary folks."

Well, Takitez, you mention "common folks" and certainly the "homeless" are becoming more and more common, huh? I'm sure if McCain gets elected or if the bailout it passed there will be MANY more "common folk" too, he-he.

BTW, the article didn't mention the fact that the homeless man was a former liberal elite CEO of a banking firm that went belly up last week.

Also, the homeless man was givien two vials of crack-cocaine to say "republican", even though he would have been given two vials if he said, "democrat". He would've been shot and pushed into the gutter if he said "third party".

I say to all of you true conservatives out there: vote libertarian or even better write in Ron Paul. Then start buying lots of guns and bullets.

"I'm the only guy you know who doesn't drink," Biden said, adding that he has never taken a drink in his life. "Too many alcoholics in my family," he explained.

Yeah, because we all know that Biden can be trusted when it comes to whether or not people are drinking.

This must mean she's actually gonna douche and shower, two things Alaskan women aren't known for...........

In Ohio today one homeless said he voted for McCain because he feels Sarah understands the ordinary folks.

Um, an address is required to vote.

You're beyond stupid.

LOL, LEEATWATER. You're behind times.

The guy promoting the free taxi program to register the homeless in Ohio exults: "It's a perfect opportunity for them to come in, register at a temporary address like a homeless shelter or a YMCA or something like that. They can register at that address because they don't know where they're going to be tomorrow or next week."

Another woman describes trolling bus stops and picking up prospects: "I asked em if they're registered to vote and if they weren't, I said Get in the car, I'm bringing you!'"

A homeless thug now registered to vote comments: "They picked me up. They seen me walkin' around. So day said, You wanna vote?' I said, Yeah, I'll vote.' (laughs) Day said, We'll take you anywhere you want.' I said, Dat's cool'If day say 'sign the ballot,' just give em and do exactly what they want you to do.' I mean, hey, dis is America, you know?" (laughs).

Who does this new voter support?

"Barack! I mean, I want him to do his thang. You know, do his thug thizzle. You know. That's how I like it to be. You know. (laughs)."

Organizers hoped to sign up 1,000 like him by the end of the day yesterday and more all week.

Organizers hoped to sign up 1,000 like him by the end of the day yesterday and more all week.

Now we know what a community organizer does.

Hey they could drive these homeless people all over the state getting them signed up with fake names at lots of temporary addresses.

Homeless Ohioans for Obama

Well, you got me there. So, homeless can vote. Why not. Dead Chicagoan's voted for Kennedy. Anything's possible.

Michelle Malkin's got a pretty mouth.

Wow, winning with style over substance, a true Republican.

CCAGW: BRIDGING THE KNOWLEDGE GAP ON THE "BRIDGE TO NOWHERE"

(Washington, D.C.) - The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) today released a backgrounder on congressional funding for the bridge from Ketchikan to Gravina Island in Alaska, better known as the "Bridge to Nowhere." The material addresses some of the questions raised about the history of the bridge and its ultimate demise.

"There has been much debate and even more speculation about how funds for the Bridge to Nowhere were first provided, Congress's role in changing the nature of the funding, and the various options the state of Alaska had to build the bridge," said CCAGW President Tom Schatz. "Many in the media and the public are providing an opinion when they should be providing the facts. We intend to continually update this document on our website as additional verifiable information becomes available."

The Bridge to Nowhere was first funded in August 2005 through the 2005 SAFETEA-LU Act through a $223 million earmark inserted by then-House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Don Young (R-Alaska). In October, 2005, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) offered an amendment to the fiscal 2006 Transportation Appropriations Act to transfer $75 million in funding for the Bridge to Nowhere, along with money for the Knik Arm Bridge in Alaska, to support the rebuilding of the Twin Spans Bridge in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. His amendment was defeated by a vote of 15-82. Senators Biden (D-Del.) and Obama (D-Ill.) voted against the amendment; Sen. McCain (R-Ariz.) was not present for the vote.

In November, 2005, Congress included language in the final version of the fiscal 2006 Transportation Appropriations Act that allowed the state of Alaska to either spend money on the two bridges or on other surface transportation projects. In October, 2006, Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski included $91 million for the Gravina Island Bridge in his budget submission for fiscal year 2007. As a candidate for governor, Sarah Palin expressed a mixture of support and doubt about the bridge, particularly about how the project would be funded. As governor, she submitted her budget on January 17, 2007 without any money for the bridge. On July 17, 2007, the Associated Press reported that "The state of Alaska on Friday officially abandoned the bridge to nowhere' project that became a nationwide symbol of federal pork-barrel spending." Governor Palin said in a statement that "Ketchikan desires a better way to reach the airport, but the $398 million bridge is not the answer."

"Media reports that Congress killed the Bridge to Nowhere are not accurate," said Schatz. "The 2006 transportation appropriations bill allowed Alaska to decide whether or not to move forward. Governor Murkowski said yes; Governor Palin said no. Any discussion about the project should begin with facts."

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste is the lobbying arm of Citizens Against Government Waste, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in government.

Except what you posted is not true--and then Joe will look like a true ass.

The debate will be great. I expect both to be smart and answer questions forthright.

Joe will be a gentleman and Sarah will be a lady.

And I have been praying since Sunday for a great outcome.. ;o)

Am I to take from that highly detailed press release posted above that Palin nixed that bridge only after someone put pressure on it for being pork?

If so, that's nothing more than has been said about her or it to date.

Anybody see palin on ET tonight? She needed somebody to tell her how to say "It's always good to be back in Wasilla>."

Yup, ready to lead.

Ever the nostalgia buff, the history scholar, I suddenly thought of Pete Rademacher,

It was just about fifty years ago and this amateur decided he could try for the world heavyweight title in his first bout. Floyd Patterson decked him in round two, but he managed to stay vertical until round six, figuring the fans ought to b=get something for their bucks.

And so we get the Alaska Airhead, Attila the Mom, seeking to become assistant leader of the free world. I hope Joe Biden carries her for a few rounds, but then shows her ineptness once and for all. herm

OOps.... the dead voted for Kennedy? Well, well, well, remember the Kennedy curse. Its real. But now broken.

Broken. Good news.

In 2004 Kerrey was 8 points ahead in polls in Ohio, and he lost to Bush by over 100,000 votes.

In this November 2008 election there is a big surprise coming!

BTW, whatever happened to all those retarded comments about Obama and the teleprompter and Obama stuttering? What a bunch of horses asses the rightards turned out to be. HAHAHA!

Billy Graham likes Sarah Palin.

"Billy Graham likes Sarah Palin."

Who cares?

Here's another group of Christians that love Palin.....
www.landoverbaptist.org
Makes you feel warm and cozy inside don't it?

Kenoosh: you have uncovered a counterpart of Moveon.org ( and many liberal media).

Billy Graham like Sarah Palin and John McCain is 9 years younger than Sidney Poitier.

Word has it that Gwen stands to make about $350,000 if Obama wins the election and he book sales would be up. Quite a bit of cake for someone to be unprofessional and throw the debate.

Gwen should have disclosed to the Campaign Commission that she had a book in the works about Obama and doing articles on him and his family for Essence, etc.

If she had--McCain camp would have known up front--and the CC --then she could have been passed over for another moderator (or not).

But the disclosure would have been there in the open.

I've watched Washington Week in Review for years.

She's always been right down the center and unbiased.

This isn't the first debate she's moderated either.

Bunch of hoopla about nothing.

I would give Gwen the benefit of the doubt.

OK, I won't expect her to stink the place up.

I think she's going to be incredible during the debate. Now, let's see if she can live up to the hype!

"I think she's going to be incredible during the debate."

LOL

Only if she's wearing George Bush's "rectangular box" and Joe Lieberman is standing in the wings whispering GOP mini-commercials in her ear.

Let's get real here.

The woman freezes up under pressure and resorts to running out the clock with nonsensical rambling.

She'll be lucky if someone doesn't think this debate is the old Gong Show and yank her off stage with a long hook.

The woman freezes up under pressure and resorts to running out the clock with nonsensical rambling.

palin has to think to much about how to say what she wants to get across.

In alaska the people she is used to conveying her speeches to is much more laborish and by far less cosmopolitan.

palin to alaskins: This 70 million million alot of money bill is good for our fuckin economy because it will help the god damn banks. You know, those damn places that cash your pay checks so you can go to chilikoots for the beer.

My wife says if Palin has her hair down to look for an earpiece.

I think public opinion of her is shaping up already, and it's not positive in regards to her readiness to be VP.

AU

I'm curious ~

Everyone in the world saw that rectangular box strapped to George Bush. Yet, John Kerry didn't say a peep about it.

It makes me wonder if these debates aren't really one big dog and pony show after all.

TWIN

Kerry has a lot of class.

If Bin Laden hadn't released that video 3 days before the 2004 election chances are good Kerry would have been president the last 4 years. Instead we got more years of a failed war and a few trillion in additional national debt as America's image around the world took a severe hit.

Ah, maybe now the right wing will be banished alongside Sen. Joe McCarthy where they belong.

They are BOTH Bonesmen. I wonder if that has anything to do with the election of 2004. Just curious.

Larry

Ah, maybe now the right wing will be banished alongside Sen. Joe McCarthy where they belong.

Since I'm not completely heartless, AU, just let me add one thing. I hope they all get paddded walls.

"They are BOTH Bonesmen."

Good point Larry.

I forgot about that one.

ET (entertainment tonight) has been kind to Sarah --- in comparison, it made Whoopi and Joy Behar of 'The View' look like two sore losers crying their lungs out like witches about to be burnt.

Billy Graham likes Sarah. Thinks she brings freshness and vitality.

"My wife says if she (Palin) wears her hair down look for an earpiece..."

The worst single moment of the entire Bush presidency was his getting electronic help in his debate with Kerry.

Bush erased himself as a man with that one. A liar and a cheat. No dignity and and no interest in having any. A kid with power and not a nice or a smart one, either.

This is fine. Keep banging the 'dumb bitch' drum all you guys want. Set expectations low, and if she holds her own, she wins.

Besides, hip-shot Joe will no doubt find it impossible to avoid dropping the "C" word before it's all over. Even Oprah will be behind her if Joe goes "Joe" on her.

Obama's camp may have received gobs of cash from foreigners and phantom contributers, but the liberal media is hiding this fact --- an insult to American democracy.

Right now the polls are giving the liberals some irrational exuberance.

But come November 4 and there will be a big surprise: George Bush will be vindicated. His third term will be administered by John McCain and Sarah Palin.

"If she (Palin) holds her own, she wins...."

Defined as the woman doesn't actually faint or is not rendered speechless or muttering?

OK, fine---Just as long as if she does those things you admit she's the mess she's appeared to be to date.

"She has an amazing ability to turn a 45-second answer into a folksy story ... she's never been forced to know the issues."

Does Halcro know that to people who aren't complete rubes, that gets annoying after the first couple of times someone does it? I seriously doubt Palin is being coached to tell stories in response to every question. But it might be funny if she were....

It's not possible for a newbee like Palin to compete with Joe Biden. Therefore, I'm opting that she'll be wearing a wireless earpeice and getting coached from off stage.

That opinion is for those of you who aren't familiar with the Kerry/Bush debate and the infamous and mysterious rectangular box worn by George Bush.

What Palin stink?

Excuses are already being made.

If she shows some cleavage, it's all over.

I love it.......I wonder what those things really look like................lol

I watched the alaska debate on cspan that some of you are talking about and she literally kicked thier ass and did it without them really even knowing it.
biden had better be carefull too.

when its over and there is a guy in a wheelchair, he might ask him to stand up again......

and do you think that hifill will ask him ANYTHING ABOUT BEING A LIAR or plagerist from the campaign of 88?
I doubt it.

FTFA: "I think she plays to great advantage the small town hockey mom persona," Mr Parker said. "For Alaska that's terrific. But for states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, who are dealing with panic about the economy, who knows?"

The other difference between the state level stage and the national one is knowledge. In those Alaskan debates that Spud saw Palin at least was reasonably well informed on the issues. On the national stage her knowledge base is scant toput it politely. Her fall-back, as we've seen pointed out and parodied on SNL, when cornered with a question she doesn't have a clue how to answer is to go all cutsie and adorable.

Biden's key to beating her tonight is to take a tip from Cutie Couric's interviews. Nail her on specifics, don't let her fall back on her folksy anecdotal non-answers.

Like when Couric kept asking Sarah if she would make abortion illegal for a girl who was raped by her father and impregnated.

She knew her real answer of "Yes, I would Katie" would turn off a shitload of voters especially the women she was brought on board to capture. So she just kept repeating "I would council her to chose life" over and over agin in an effort to distract from the fact that her real position is to take choice away from women not give it.

Jon Stewart had fun pointing this out last night.

"Wot kind of counciling would that be Sarah?"

"So, um ...sorry about yer dad ...have you picked out a name yet?"

Palin at the end of the day is a political animal who has spent a larg portion of her life getting people to like her. She's very good at this.

It will not be enuff.

People are afraid because of the economy and a vote fer the last member of the Keating Five scandal and his dimwitted rookie Veep loooks increasingly less attractive unbder the circumstances.

As long as Joe doesn't berate her and nails her on specifics she doesn't stand a chance except in the eyes of those poor deluded fucks on the right who are mentally incapable of judging these thing fairly.

Be Well.

/Hey, When is someone gonna put up a debate thread fer tonight?
//Let's DO THIS THING!

Since the subject of this post is Palin, let me say this.

She has leadership experience as a Mayor and a Governor.

She is not a politician in the traditional sense of the word. When questioned on something she doesn't know, she doesn't bullshit around and say something else that has nothing to do with the question. That is change.

"When questioned on something she doesn't know, she doesn't bullshit around and say something else that has nothing to do with the question. "

Either that's a joke, or you're a joke.

COURIC: Why isn't it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries; allow them to spend more and put more money into the economy instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

PALIN: That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, were ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping the--it's got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we've got to see trade as opportunity not as a competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we've got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.

Does Halcro know that to people who aren't complete rubes, that gets annoying after the first couple of times someone does it?

Keeping in mind that complete rubes make up half the country.

I love it.......I wonder what those things really look like................lol

Ugggh!

After breastfeeding 5 kids, you want to see her moose teats?

No thanks.

She's going to be a pitbull and she will be charming! Pow! Joe Biden cannot hope to make her look bad, but she hopes to make Biden look unmacho ... That's my prediction for Calamity Jane tonight!

Underestimate Palin at your own risk, former rivals say -- With Thursday's vice presidential debate approaching, ex-aides and opponents of the Alaska governor recall her skill at jabbing with a smile, even if she wasn't always focused on learning the issues.

Why do we need teh VP post anyway? See www.latimes.com

Well, this guy was wrong.

She stunk up the debates like Moose innards left out in the sun.
